Baklava with ice-cream brought me to the heavens! Service is fast and servants are so friendly

Great place to get some Baklava and tea. They have multiple locations everywhere around Istanbul. Some locations have a nice terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view.

Was really excited and looking forward to trying Hafiz Mustafa but everyone working at this place are ANGRY! So upset for some reason. That was off putting but then the food came and we couldnt wait to get out of here. Then food looks good bug the taste... Very old lokum and tastes like cardboard. Kunafeh was out of the fridge and really tough almost inedible. If you want a great experience go to the place next door Ali Usta.

I experienced the worst night of my life at Hafiz Mustafa across from Sultanahmet in Istanbul. A huge vintage glass and metal chandelier fell on my mother’s, two sisters and my head which was placed directly above the table we were dining under. The chandelier fell directly on our heads and glass shattered all over our bodies. Perhaps there were hundreds of guests in the area along with more than enough staff. My family was covered in cuts, bruises, and blood. At that moment I was begging people to call the ambulance and we received no help. Hafiz Mustafa is the epitome of unprofessionalism. It’s as if the entire staff of Hafiz Mustafa disappeared. Suddenly one of the waiters started picking up our teacups and plates. Hafiz Mustafa staff did nothing to help us and did not even reassure us that an ambulance was on its way. Instead, Hafiz Mustafa prioritized their plates and cups over our livelihood. Hafiz Mustafa failed to call immediate help and didn’t even give us a glass of water to calm us. Even the other guests were asking for the phone number of the ambulance but since we were all tourists we did not know which number to call. In that moment Hafiz Mustafa called the police on us and the ambulance still hadn’t arrived.Hafiz Mustafa and the police did not evacuate the other guests and left me and my family covered in blood and glass on the ground. Still, at this time the ambulance hadn’t arrived and the environment was like a crime scene. The buildings of Hafiz Mustafa are old and the “vintage” vibe they attempt to create is in reality in need of dire repair. First, it is unacceptable for a chandelier of this immense size to be placed directly under a dining table. Secondly, if placed it must be fastened properly. This company does not care about the safety and health of its guests.Do not put your families and friends lives at risk by dining here because the institution is lacking on its mandated routine building maintenance checkups.Hafiz Mustafa should NOT continue to place unstable chandeliers in any of its locations. Hafiz Mustafa failed to provide a bare minimum dining experience and left us in shambles the night before our flight out of Istanbul.The company hasn’t apologized to us even though several days have passed since our surgery.Currently, I and my sister have permanent scars on our heads and we each received several stitches due to the direct irresponsibility of Hafiz Mustafa. Since arriving to back in the United States I’ve had several doctor appointments for our scars.My only solution is social media in order to amplify our voice and to speak out about this injustice. One of my favourite dessert spots!!! They serve mainly traditional treats and do so very well. Customer service and food quality was both top tier.

What an amazing place.We were first attracted to this place by a very cool visual (brand) identity - it is vintage and modern at the same time, and also eastern and western. Great design!Tukish sweets are amazing! It is so cool that they offer pre-defined plates that consist various types of baklavas so you can try many for an OK price, and there is nice turkish coffee.Staff here is really great - lot of very young professionals that are quick at service.I had baklavas at some restaurants but I believe that many of them get the baklavas from Hafiz Mustafa, so I believe that everyone needs to sit here at least once and enjoy.

SHAME ON YOU if you do not visit Hafiz Mustafa when you’re in Istanbul. The pictures speak for themselves. This place is just heaven and the MASSIVE baklava slice with ice cream nearly made me cry when eating it. It was heaven on earth!

I went today to Hafiz Mustafa in Sirkeci. I bought my favorite fistik three leche cake. But it wasn’t fresh. It was so spoiled . It tasted like sour spoiled milk. Obviously looks like it wasn’t made recently. It was my mistake that I didn’t check it in the store but the cake shop that famous and with that high rating didn’t make me think that it would happen. Very disappointed and won’t go to Hafiz Mustafa anymore. I live in Büyükçekmece that’s why I don’t have an option to go there and show that bad cake them into their face. This place just spoiled my Sunday evening. Won’t recommend to anyone .

Seems like its their flagship store. Everything is well organized, staff is friendly and working fast. Weve ordered 3 big boxes of sweets / delights and were pretty satisfied with the taste.

Best dessert shop ever! Filled with so many types of baklava, cakes, and puddings in addition to tea, coffee, and fresh lemonade. Beware however, the prices here are quite high compared to most shops. We always enjoy coming to the various branches especially Taksim and Eminonu.

The baklava wasnt fresh nor crispy, it was very disappointing, they are better for the cake and turkish delight.They are alot of better places in Istanbul with much better taste and quality.I think its the name and the location what make it busy.

Hafiz Mustafa is one of the oldest cafe in Istanbul Since 1864, that’s around a 150 years of legacy.It is only a cafe so they serve only tea/coffee and deserts and cold drinks. No snacks or hot meal.There are a few branches of Hafiz Mustafa around Istanbul. There is some sitting place on the first floor, but it seems there is no disabled/pram access to first floor. May be the other branches have disabled access.The service was amazing. The waiters took directed us and waited for us to call. They even had the courteous enough to make a paper rose for our child. They were patient even though they had many customers to deal with.They have lot of deserts so be prepared to choose from a long list of mouth watering options :) and if you are lucky enough grab a window seat and you can see busy Istanbul go by...

After shopping around the area, this is my favorite spot for some pick me up. Conveniently located next to the tram stop as well. Service is always attentive.

Kunfe was tasty, place is so clean and location is great, coffee was not really good, pricier than other places, nice staff but wandering in the place quite often which is a bit annoying, one of the staff kept the only washroom busy for really long time 3 people kept waiting and eventually one left without using the washroom, never answered when the door was knocked and then came out talking in a rude way claiming he was cleaning the washroom.

Sweet shopMake that Reallllllly good sweet shop!Be warned though this is a Turkish sweet shop. So if you go in there like me wanting hot chocolate you will not get it.But like me if you are willing to experiment with Turkish sweets, you will definitely not be disappointed.I have never liked Turkish delights until I had one here. It was superb!I didnt go so far as try the baklava - that I really dont like. But the rest if the sweets were really nice!There are European desserts as well... But the waiter shook his head when we tried to order one 😀😀😀 - So dont. You might not get an honest waiter like we did.I had a very nice mint tea to round off all the sweets. They do v good traditional Turkish tea as well if you are into that sort of tea.The place has a huge seating area and its quite busy. Service is quick.Have fun!

Such an amazing cafe! The coffee is good the tea is good all the sweets are incredible. I really love their full pistachio baklawa, its to die for! They have nice seating outside. It gets really busy in the evenings so you have to make sure you wait by one of the tables till someone gets up to get a seat. I was here everyday!

Very historical place. Too many things to see around here.good place to have a rest and sth delicious. All kind of sweets available traditional Turkish baklava is my recommendation. Price is reasonable. Do not forget to ask for kaymak(made of milk) as extra to eat with baklava

Very nice local network of dessert cafes. Offers a wide selection of both traditional and modern turkish delights and desserts. A few varieties of coffee (espresso, turkish, ottoman style) - which is very good. Seating available on the 1st and 2nd floor, air conditioned (which is nice in summer). Service is good, but dont expect fluent English. Cards are accepted.

Friendly staff, always willing to help. Great packaging for gifts and prices are affordable for the excellent quality. You’ll find one in every town. We brought Turkish delights, sweet gifts for home and a delicious Chocolate and fruit cake for my son’s birthday, everyone enjoyed it!

Lot of turkish people drinking cofee and eating. Not just tourists! Very kind staff. English so so. We are here 3 days and this were best sweets ! This on photo is sultan cofee and kunefe ( can not explain it u need to try - melted cheese with ice cream and pistachio on top) but muuuch tastier than my description! U need to wait around 10minutes for them to make this!

I fell in love with Künefe and Çai and had this dessert nearly all the days I passed at Istanbul. By the way, there won’t be any wrong choices here!The prices are a bit high here, but you will receive very tasty Turkish desserts which you’ll remind them for your whole life!!! Undoubtedly, I’ll go back for it.

I thought I didn’t like Turkish delight, but trying it here has proved me wrong. Absolutely outstanding and so different to any I have had before. Shop at the bottom with a cafe above. Make sure to try the pistachio milk delight, the honey Turkish delights and pomegranate ones. The baklava were also excellent with plenty of pistachio.

First time in Istanbul and first place I visited.. And I may visit it every day during my stay lolThe place is gorgeous and they have an incredible choice of sweets, cakes and drinks too! One of the best known Turkish Delights Shops in Turkey. Youll be amazed in the variety of sweets they have. Its always full house, so youd be lucky to find an empty table. Great menu variety including pictures. Prices are reasonable. Presentation is fair enough, Künefe taste is good but its over sweet and the taste of butter should be smoother.

But we I found was far better than what I heard.The moment you take the first bite from their Baklavas, you will get addicted. A must for a turist to istanbul. Waiters are extremely kind, polite and warm, food of every kind is the best you can find in istanbul regarding treats, puddings, coffee and tea. It is the best confectionery in the city and it offers also boxes of various types to take away. Prices are cheap, as everything in istanbul for a westerner. Its a shame waiters dont speak english, however it will not be difficult to make you understand.

The place looks nice from the outside, but the customer service is not helpful the waitress Adnan was very ignorant and disrespectful got us the wrong order and when we ask him to come he said he will but made us wait and wait. We came here to see what the hype was all about around this place and we were not disappointed. We had a typical Turkish borek which is some sort of cheese pastry. Very delicious and filling. We topped it off with a mouth-watering syrup-submerged Turkish kunefe which sealed the deal for 48 hours at least!Highlyy recommended.

Its a historical place where you can find several kind of delicious desserts, pastas and drinks coming from Ottoman Empire times to today. I ate Balli Fistikli Kadayif (40 number in the menu) and it was amazing. Their filter coffee is coming in French press and can serve two glasses in one service so if you go with a friend in there, you can order one filter coffee for two persons.

Chocolate Khanefe was surprisingly nice. The pistachio something was however excellent!
