श्री काली देवी मंदिर के शिलापट पर निर्माण की तारीख धुंधली हो चुकी है। कोई दो सौ वर्ष पहले इसका निर्माण आंका जा रहा है। आज देवी का यह स्थान शहर से लेकर दूर-दराज के श्रद्धालुओं के बीच कालीबाड़ी मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है। दिलचस्प बात है कि देवी के नाम पूरे मुहल्ले का नाम ही कालीबाड़ी पड़ा है।
