Its near University gate.Entry fee 20rsThree different special shows available, science show, taramandal show, 3d show. Each having tickit price of 20 to 25 rs.Entering the museum we will see the big dinosaur statue, and a floating tap.Inside the museum there are bhool bhulaiya, 3d show, bio quiz, mirror show, sound localisation everything on 1st floor.In the park there are lever, musical bars, different motion physics, rabbit, parrot etc.Museum opens at 10am and closes at 6pm.

Neat and clean. Nice equipments to describe 10the level science topics. Some of the equipments are not maintained properly. Was expecting some special event on National Science Day but no such special show/arrangement.

Exhibits are very old and most of them does not work properly. Maintenance services are very poor. Also I dont understand why they kept close the 3d shows, science shows etc. Otherwise, for a educational outing on a weekend, it is a good place.

The place was awesome...but it would more fun if all of the instruments were in workable state.... other than that the outside park was of great fan...we tried some rides too and finally the photoshoot with Mr T-rex was amazing.

Loved and enjoyed my time here. It is an enjoyable and exciting place to visit. The main focus should be to learn and enjoy science as a whole with practical demonstration which you can get here. The park is well maintained with lots of space and activities for children as well as for adults to like.

The place is well maintained.Good option for day outing for scientific minds.But the auditorium need to have proper seating arrangements as well as the projector is non functional which is a big time disadvantage to conduct small seminars.

It is a very good place for students and also for seniors. If you are interested in science and experience the practical application of that science definition and formulas which you have read in your school life then it is an ideal place for you and your next generation. Everyone has heard the name of Burdwan Sign City...It is a very popular place in Burdwan...It can be visited with very minimal money to enter...I turned around a few days ago, of course...There are so many things to see Hebby from the outside and so many things to see inside...There are many science things, there are many educational things. There is a beautiful park on the outside. There is a park on the side. This science city is located on the side of the road...From behind, every scientists formula has been published live...How much more can I say if you want to go there will not understand...For example, there are dinosaurs, Archimedes has principles, there are more and Newtons has law...And to reach here, a little road from Burdwan to a place called Golapbagh...There are fountains, there are many kinds of trees, there are gardens at the back to look very beautiful like a park...

#this place is really good for everyone. You can spend quality time with your child here. The children above 5 year have a lots of things to learn here. I recommend every parents should take their children to this science centre. This step could help your child to k ow more about science. I wish you all the best.

On 9th July, I have visited the science centre with my school students. They have invited our school for the campaign of Underprivileged students visit at the science museum. Their hospitality is really fantastic. Our students have enjoyed the whole day with lots of science oriented play, Magic show, and also the picturesque garden area. This is a memorable day for our students.

Barddhaman science city is an average quality place to visit . Though itd not be fair if I call it very bad and time wasting place to visit but Govt. should look upon this to make it a better one for the sake of burdwan residentials .

A high standard Science Museum and a park near the Burdwan University GolapBag campus was established in 1994 by National Council of Science Museum of the joint effort by the Central Government, Government of West Bengal and the University of Burdwan. Many school do educational trip here. It is an eco friendly place. It is maintained all the time and very clean. I visited this place with my friend. Entry fee is ₹20 per head.

School going students must visit Burdwan Science Centre to learn more about scientific activities . They also arrange students awarness programs on Mathematics, Chemistry, Phisics,Biology,etc for students. Kids may also take membership for this Centre to attain future programs which are regularly made on weekly basis. 3D shows are also attractive for kids.

It is situated at Golapbagh, besides Mini Zoo and opposite of State Bank and Vidyasagar Bhavan (Burdwan DDE).It is an interesting place for the science loving peoples. It is two storied. A beautiful dinasore is created in front of the said Bhavan.The ground floor is positioned with living science like acquirium fishes and sea creatures.. There are toilets for both males and females in these ground floor which is very much needed for the out stationed tourists. The first floor is equipped with mostly mechanical equipments, very interesting they are. At the present moment the fee for the visit is rupees ten only. There is aiso a sovenior counter at the first floor. It is actually a pride of burdwan town and a must visit for the juniors as well as seniors for the outside visitors.
