This school is from the time of British time. It was established before independence in 1902 during the British rule when our countrys education system was second. The building was constructed in 1932. From then on, teaching started. Then there was no school till 10 kilometers (except Jedpur) of our villages periphery area, people used to come from Akbarpur, Meenapura, Gulerihah, Mothari, Mehud, Barain, Baraiya, Babura Dam. The teachers also came from far away areas, so there was a system for staying in the night.
