One of the Lovely place in North 24 parganas..

Historical place for the Martins Light Railways, a British Company. It was built in 1865. The line was converted to broad gauge and also electrified in the late 1970s. It is located on Guma Rajibpur Road of the Bara Bamonia locality in Guma.

Guma Railway station located in Bongaon section. Ashoknagar and Bira are the two adjacent stations.

A lovely village

Atmosphere not so good

Guma is the Eastern railway station of Sealdah and Bangoan Section. Distance from sealdah at about 35 k.m.

Calm and peaceful station. An over bridge that need maintenance. So you have to cross the over bridge every time you have to cover a great distance changing platforms. Busy and crowded in office hours. Water points and toilet need urgent attention. Infested by hawkers and various stalls.. The rail gate is very close. The road to reach the platform is in a pathetic condition.a small garden to add beautification of the platform.

Nice station.

Considering it is a village station 🚉, it is very clean. A very social place in the evening with small stalls everywhere and people having a chat with their mates about the day. Very lively and wind is favorable to spend a nice long time with your friends.

According to the place the station is perfect. It has the basic amenities like water, public toilet, dual sheds in each of the two stations. It also has wheelchair access. Small shops r there on the stations. Only trains between Sealdah and Bongaon run through here.

Small railway station.........2 railway tracks are available....one towards bangoan and one towards dum dum.....every train usually 5 to 10 minutes late every time.... Challenging to arrive train at the morning towards dum dum... This station is important in this track..... scilent platform...... Well maintained platform ....... usually clean Everytime.... this station situated between Ashok Nagar and bira........ Railway service is quite good...... Jessore road is not so far from this Station ...........5 minutes from the station

Large in size but have not an adequate SHADE. Cold drinking water taps are not available. Water facilities as like ancient, people cant wash hands, face & legs with siting accomodation. Vendors have no other Godowns/micro cold store facilities. Passengers have no night stay waiting option. 48 inch blade fans in the summer is not sufficient.A model station should have- Govt information desk/display. Staff & duty roaster display. Ticket selling amont & maintaining fixed & variable cost display. Functional literacy board regarding travel. A brief history about INDIAN rail. ...............
