This is the khanqah and residence of spiritual and great personality sufi Hazrat Abul Hasnat Chishty Saheb. He is also the founder secretary of the Sunni madrasa Anisul Ghuraba, Basapara.The Sufi is well known in the area and other parts of the state. A regular assembly of the devotees held regularly and people come here for their spiritual growth and peace in life.The place is located on the west side of the main road to Bolpur from Natunhat and Palitpur. This particular area is popular for Basapara High school, Market, Madrasa Anisul Ghuraba and the junction of Nanoor Road.The Sufi Hazrat is well educated in academic, professional and religious studies. His in depth knowledge of English, Bengali and Arabic etc. is well known among the people.
