Great place to relax with a cold drink and a nice dinner.Impeccable service and lovely staff.

The buffet is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Food for every possible taste. American, European, Asian of all kinds. The fresh fruits were first class, so were many of the dishes. Where the cafe fails was on some of the easier things like good coffee and sometimes service. Having said that, the restaurant was operating at full capacity. Avoid the crowds and make the most of whats on offer by going early, then you can enjoy the food and the amazing views of the river.

Sunday brunch is Top ranking in Bangkok with premium seafood like king crab, lobster, Alaska crab, Oyster , Lobster Thermidor. No Peking duck regularly, need to call & check. Mango sticky rice here .

Next2 is the restaurant at the riverside inside Shangri-la hotel. They serve Buffet... all you can eat.. seasonal themed. From sea food, international food, Indian Thai or Isaan food there is something for everyone.For me its enough already to work my way through the starters and move from there I continued right to the desserts.It was a bit sad that we choose the Buddhist Lent day. There was no alcohol for sale and a cheese platter without a nice glass of wine is sad.

Tried couple of Thai dishes and they were fine. Thing is there are many restaurants that have better delicious options. However, vegetable sandwich with avocado, cheese, other veg, was delicious.SERVICE - is good. They are mostly in close proximity if you need anything.VIEW - is excellent. There is also free boat service if you want to checkout places nearby. If you havent already then checkout Asiatique. Ask for a complementary boat service. Place speaks for itself.PARKING - enough floors, it shouldnt be a problem but make sure to get it stamped to avoid paying extra.

Amazing Sunday Buffet Brunch! Wow! Lobster thermidor; an amazing seafood station including lobster, freshly shucked oysters, King Crab legs and claws, and shrimp; a sushi station with gorgeous fresh fish; an Indian food station with fresh bread and hot pots; an american food station; a carving station; an outdoor barbecue with delicious grilled meats and Thai specialties; a small dim sum station; a beautiful cheese station; a salad station; a fruit station; and an amazing dessert area! Also, there is a children’s play area, along with two clowns who walk around passing out toys and balloon animals. It’s just very well done. The cost was 2450++ Baht per person and totally worth it (just go hungry!).

We’ve been to the evening buffet multiple tikes during the last 15 years and it was always good. This year (2019) it was very disappointing! Live cooking areas outside were closed, instead the BBQ was done inside, food selection average, quality very average, everything was cooked long, didn’t look fresh, the food looked stale. Chinese duck wasn’t cut freshly, it was pre-cut and stagnating wrapped inside of plastic. Even that the quality has changed, the prices were unchanged and for that price (around 60€ per person w/o drinks) you have to deliver a good selection and quality of food.The location is still amazing, sitting close to Chao Phraya.All in all 2 stars, very average for a place like that. We probably won’t come again.

This is honeslty the best breakfast buffet I have seen anywhere in the world. They have everything you could ever want. It is abundant, all delicious, and the chefs and wait staff are all super accommodating. Sitting outside by the river is so beautiful and relaxing.

Buffet used to be fantastic but in the later years, both selection of food and quality of the same, has dropped below normal Shangri-la standard.

Mr Chart Nonthichans mocha is just too yummy to miss. His service is beyond words. Hes an asset to Shangri-La Bangkok.

Weekend dinner buffet. Cold crab, cold lobster, and other foods are lined up, and steaks are also delicious. There are various types of sushi and various types of desserts. There are only dozens of desserts. Overall, the taste is good, and the speed of collection of empty dishes is fast, and there is no basic drink, and you have to order and eat. One beer, one sprite, 20,000 won. I liked seafood, so I ate 18 lobster cut in half by myself. King crab is quite salty. I recommend eating it with something sour and I smelled lobster in my urine the next day. After a while, the poop also smelled fishy. I was proud. I am not a strange person. It was just that.

Weekday dinner visitI deliberately visited here because the food was the best, but it wasnt as good as I thought.I think I was doing a show in the evening, but I dont know if I was wrong.There are fewer than just rated hotel buffets in Korea. Especially the hot dish, there was not much to eat. Except for instant noodles and pasta, it was regrettable that there wasnt much to go with.There is an advantage of unlimited lobster on the weekends, but on weekdays it is not...The staff are so friendly, especially 3 stars for the cooking side live and the dessert corner.Shrimp is not sweet and juicy without even basic liver, so I only eat one at a time and dont eat it anymore.I dont think there is a need to go to the weekday dinner on purpose.

I dont offer drinks or tea (about 50 baht per bottle of water) ... The price is about 60,000 to 70,000 won per person, but its not as good as a buffet of 30,000 to 40,000 won in Daegu or Busan. If you think the rest of the buffet is 30,000 won, its perfect if you think of the night view cost (although the night view isnt that good). Its a waste of money.
