One of the best hotel in town. Great hospitality, clean and artsy room, city view from the pool, but unfortunately Ive got the room with no view. Theres a big mall in front of the hotel, so you have no worry if you need to buy something. It also closes to any places, cause its located in the city centre. I recommend you to try their traditional food instead of the continentals.

The hotel is really nice, the staffs are really helpful, especially the staff at front desk. She quickly response the problem that I had in the hotel. The restaurant at hotel has a superior taste, although the choice of the food is limited. The pool and the skywalk at 6th floor also has their own signature, so beautiful! The room is also good, cant ask for more in superior room, its already enough. Every 5pm, there will be a caller to your room, you know who?? Its Massage Service! I would like to have it if Im not in the middle of something. After all, this hotel has strong signature that make them always the best! Keep it up!

It was great...if youre looking for a short vacation in Bandung, but still want to have a kickass hotel, this is the one...the rooftop dining have stunning view and architecture.As usual, parking spot is very hard to find, luckily the hotel management was offering valley services for free

Really? We booked the room 1 night so we have the right to have the aircon on. We needed extra access key for me to leave in the morning while my family still sleeping.The aircon is not cold btw.Old hotel dont trust the photos posted though*contacted by the hotel today, appreciated the prompt feedback. Hope can improve in the future

Great hotel, the location near with Paris Van Java, AC well functional, clean room, hospitality staff. And also they have a great place to take pictures.

Staff very helpful dan polite. Limited choice breakfast during pandemic. They offer only 1 main dish per person except, chicken porridge, salad, fruit, bakery and egg corner.

On my last visit I gave this place 4 stars because at that time the hotel was doing some renovation, but this time they deserve a 5 stars for the following reasons:1. The checked in was fast and at that time actually the reception (maybe) gave me the wrong room because my reservation was double bed and not twinshare, but they quickly change my room and I got a better one ... nice!2. The staff were friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant during breakfast. Good job!3. The room attendant always leaves a personalized note after they clean up the room which is a nice touch and exemplify great service.4. The room is rich with ethnic ornaments and well built except the handle in the bathroom which quite loose, nothing crucial but somehow annoying.5. Very close to Paris Van Java and other convenient stores, so basically you can reach places on walking distance.

Amazing hotel

Hotel location is very good. Rooms are large and comfy. Buffet breakfast only has local food so foreigners wont find it satisfactory. Our stay was pleasant enough until checkout time when they refused to return our deposit of Rupiah 150000, saying they had no record of it! A staff by the name of Fajari had collected the money from us on check-in. If this is how they treat their customers then I wont be back here again. Advice to all guests- make sure you ask for a receipt for your deposit.

Hotel location is quite strategic right in front of Paris Van Java Mall. The room is large and comfy. The hotel rate is affordable. The breakfast option menu is quite few for 4 star hotel standard and the service is taken care well enough.For specific case, We noted that the room service is not that clean, they just clean slipping bed, mattres and bathroom but thats it the rest still bit messy. They wont even pick up used dishes plates in the room.The parking area is limited. In general we will put just say Okay recommendation for this hotel for family stay with efficient budget.

Located just in front of Paris van Java, good place for staying while spending time to catch up with friends or colleagues in PVJ. However, when we were there, my colleague in second floor was feeling disturbed by the music along the corridor which was too loud. Once we complained, the hotel responded positively, which is good. One thing, just be prepared, parking staff will ask you to pay such money even though you have provided them with the coupon from receptionist. Its so annoying, isnt it. It must be free of charge if you dont forget to ask a stamp from receptionist. Hope this review is being read by the management, for better improvement!!!

I booked the hotel with non-smoking room and queen-size bed but when i checked in, the staff said rooms with queen bed were full and only left twin bed. Then i said it was fine but the room must be non-smoking room. When I entered the room, i can smell the smelly smoke in the room and I can smell one of the bed was filled with smoke smell. Damn, I would not choose this hotel anymore no matter how the hotel is strategically located in front of the mall.

Place is nice and cosy. Staff and services are friendly and great. I was sick this one morning and they were able to send up a bit of breakfast to the room. Breakfast variation is good too.But they only give one pillow for each bed (u can ask for extra tho). And sometimes u have to call twice for anything.

I think this is the only hotel near Paris Van Java mall because u only accros the street to get there.very strategic place. I stay 2 nights here n they hospitality was very nice. Full of smile n friendly staffs. Great service work when i cant closed the room door. Helpful security when u need direction to get anywhere or acrros the street when u need it.

Great location. Breakfast can be improved for the hotels price point. Interior design of hotel is nice. Service is friendly and fast.Heres the not so good. I was charged a huge sum to change for a non-smoking room. Do not understand why the hotel management chooses to punish non-smokers instead of smokers? In reality, smokers pollutes the room and non-smokers has to bear the cost? Ridiculous if you ask me. Also, the sound insulation is average, not the worst, but you can hear prayers and occasional conversation of other hotel guests.

We didnt mind the traffic jams as crossing the busy road was actually quite easy if you crossed confidently. Facilities are quite limited and room is aged. Cleanliness is good. Crew and Services They have an excellent crew and service. De Java Hotel provides very good value. The location of the hotel is good.

Excelent Hotel to stay when in Bandung. The staff here are very proactive and always there to assist you. We are very pleased with the location and services provdied. We were impressed when the hotel replied our emails promptly in arranging airport transfer. The price bit high if you asked in the reception.

As the name, de Java Hotel, all interior is using java culture. But very big problem for me, I càn not find qiblat direction in the room.

Such a lively place. Cheap but good for travellers. Have a good view. Nearby Dept Store PVJ Bandung and can find easy. Have a good swimming pool and god breakfast. Room is large and comfort. Nice to stay here. I can make sure. Reservation going smooth and they were friendly. Will back again here

Nice new hotel. Luxurious for an affordable price. But the swimming pool on the rooftop was full with men smoking and standing in the way, so i was not really comfortable bringing my 2 year old daughter to swim there.

Friendly staff, clean room, delicious food, nice view and really close to any tourist destination. Worth every penny! The option for breakfast is not as much as normal hotel, thus the 4 stars.

The experience staying at de JAVA Hotel was super awesome. The service, the food, the people, all awesome. The hotel is currently under renovation, there will be additional rooms I guess. However it didnt disturb our experience staying there.

Its a nice hotel but had a small parking lot and if you held an event here on Saturday and Sunday its hard to get a parking space and the traffic jam to this hotel is worst and really bad even though its on a one way street. Make sure you adjust your departure timing to overcome the traffic jam.

Located in the middle of the city center and in front of Paris Van Java Mall which is very traffic jam. Where the top floor of the hotel has a beautiful view to see the city of Bandung.

The hotel is currently undergoing expansion and refreshing. This is my 3rd or 4th stay here. My previous stay was not very satisfactory but its improved now. Upon completion, this will be my hotel of choice.

Very good location opposite the Paris Van Java shopping mall. Room looks very comfortable which filled with wood-like tile from bed room to bath room. Rooms are amazingly clean. I would like to stay in this hotel again when I go to Bandung I personally Grade this Hotel : B.

They ask for my ID when i arrived and when i checked out i forgot to ask for it back however they also forgot to hand it back to me, i tried to call them after 10days when i realized i didnthave it, they didnt bother to let me know my ID was there with them. Not even an email. I would not stay here again and i will let my friends and family and acting community knowthat this hotel is mis managed. Very poor service

Loved it. The room was big, cozy, and simple but classy. Wooden floor, big cozy bed, on long table, one long chair where one can take a nap, a huge mirror, and a good cabinet. The bath room is also good. It was clean, cozy, easy to use, everything worked fine. The food was good, i didnt eat many kinds of food there, just the breakfast but it was good. And btw this hotel is exactly in front of Paris Van Java. A bit pricey but really worth the price.

We really enjoyed our stay at de JAVA Hotel. We did not mind as the room was not expensive. Having the Paris De Java mall across the street was the main reason we decided to stay in this hotel. The location is strategic as its located near Pari van Java which is across the street.

Awesome hotel in front of Paris Van Java mall. But some of the facilities was under construction this month.. Lift securities system was good, we only can go to our room floor by using our key access, we cant go to other floor if we dont have the key access. On the emergency stairs, hmm a bit creepy and messed up. Hope theres improvement there..

The hotel is under renovation, i checked into R 313 executive room, the room was filled wood fine dust, one could smell it upon entering and switching on the AC, i requested for change of room, the staff obliged immediately, changed to R 302, this room had no power, the engineering department was called and the power supply was restored in five minutes.The knob of the bathroom door is broken.The breakfast was not good, no spread for vegetarian guests. The Omlette too oily. No bread toaster, it is precooked and kept.

Very mediocre hotel. Receptionist asked us to pay even though we had already paid upon booking, mosquitoes in the lobby, toilet with dirty shower head (encrusted with gunk), shower divider with loose rubber waterproofing, missing toilet phone (wires sticking out), asked for a power point converter but was provided with a spoilt one (which short circuited and fizzled), breakfast with poor variety.Staff did try their best and were friendly, but this hotel is due for an upgrade and a revamp (which it is currently going through).

We stayed for a night and based on the booking confirmation, we got an Executive room. Our unit was on the second floor and to our surprise, it had a window with no view. Yes, there was a window but without a view.Lets talk about the interior design first because this is the aspect I like from our room. Upon entering the room, we were mesmerised by the sleek interpretation of modern Javanese architecture, combining wall paneling, woven rattan headboard, and bathroom door with textured glass panels with modern amenities and Industrial-style furniture. The room was less spacious than expected, yet well-lit so it was quite cozy and warm.The bathroom was not that big, but it had a roomy shower area. However, there was no door separating the shower area with other parts of the bathroom and the split level did not do much. The bathroom itself had a hair dryer and a pretty, almost midcentury-ish circle mirror. However, there was a hole on the ceiling, right above the shower area and I was a bit concerned about it.Now, here are some complaints. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. Super unreliable. I barely connected to the internet and even after the connection was established, I couldnt work or do much since the connection was super slow and oftentimes interrupted. I ended up going to Starbucks to work from there. The TV controller needed some repair. Pressing the buttons took more patience than expected.The worst part would be the noise. Despite our unit being nestled among other rooms, it was not properly sound-proofed, much to our chagrin. Apparently, the guests next door came with their children and it was super annoying that those kids kept knocking on the wall paneling, disturbing us. It wasnt over here. We could hear their conversation and stupid noises like furniture moving, children whining and crying, and even phone vibration! Im not kidding. I was awakened by the sound of phone vibration. I thought it was my phone vibrating (or my cousins) but turned out, it was the next door guests and they did not even think of dismissing the alarm or whatnot. Are the walls super thin that we can hear noise from next door so clearly?Breakfast was okay. I had no objection. There was a swimming pool with a city view. A perfect spot to relax, I would say. The hotels location is amazing. We can walk for only 3 minutes to Paris van Java Mall. Overall, the staying experience is both positive and negative. I might come back again to stay but perhaps, I will book another type of room, possibly a quieter one with a good view.
