Pathetic service, sent us the wrong order , when I called to rectify, they said they would get back to us and they never did and this takeaway had the audacity to block me on their page because I left a negative review... please ensure never to order from this place... not only do they mess up orders, they use underhanded tactics to ensure they wont have a negative review! Customer service needs to really improve!

The Delivery was quick efficient, being a massive curry fan I was looking forward to trying this based on reviews the Nan bread was I believe a pizza base, the main was okay but not consistent with what I ordered nor what myPartner ordered, the meat was cooked however spices not consistent with the dish’s that was ordered, onion baji’s had a creamy like sauce inside them which left like a greasy substance on the top of my mouth, the somasoa’s were very bland, and I believe commercially bought very disappointed 1 star for delivery and 1 star for food not a very authentic Indian experience the kebabs might be better but unfortunately won’t be using this place for a Indian again.

Owner Saeed is always extremely friendly and helpful, never had bad service from him. Food ordered via app with clear instructions to add salad and sauces to kebabs. Either a fault through App or order not processed properly but I clearly added note on chefs notes NOT under delivery notes stating to add salad and extra sauces. Im really annoyed with attitude received from whoever answered phone, claiming to be a manager. Terrible service. Same fella who messed up my order last time but putting my kebab on chips after I clearly stated Naan. Customer service and catering is a hard environment but no need to get defensive and accuse the customer of ordering incorrectly. Second time in a few months my order has been wrong and same staff member present. This is why I dont like deliveries, theres always a problem and nothing but attitude when you ring about it.

Normally I have the chicken madras but as I was using the Indus Valley app to place my order, I had to spend over £10.00. Therefore I opted for the Lamb Madras with Pilau rice. The sauce was great but it contained very little meat! It was a very saucy liquid rice dish really! If I was basing my review on this particular meal then I would be giving 2 stars! However, my review will be based on my regular order of chicken madras, which is excellent & actually contains meat. Ill return no doubt but I will stick to the chicken.

Had been here previously with no complaints except for a lack of sauce sometimes until tonight. I ordered my usual dish and when I went to collect it I discovered I was being overcharged for it. I queried this and was told I ordered the large version which I knew I hadnt, I stood my ground and the owner continued to say yes but its only another pound for the large one but I replied that I was aware of this but had only ordered the normal one. He started tutting and then just charged for the actual order but made an absolute show of going to the back to fix his mistake and then when I received my order it looked absolutely nothing like my usual. I half expected to wake up tomorrow with a skitty bum for putting him out.

Would have gave 5 for food quality. But.....So I was staying at a beautiful holiday rental cottage in nearby Stranocum when I ordered a delivery from this restaurant. The food was amazing. Really beautiful. The menu in our cottage added up my order to just over £18 for a starter main rice and nann. I live in london and although this is probably a tad more pricey than what I would pay this didn’t worry me.I called up giving my order (the person who answered struggled with what I was saying (although he was a local and I am from Belfast) May have been a bad line but was Chrystal clear my end!!End of call I was advised total cost was £22.70. It will arrive in 60 mins. Fair enough I thought. They are in Ballymoney and we are 15 minutes away in Stranocum. Must be the delivery charge.40 minutes later some boyo turns up with the food. Super!! Have the money to hand. £24.70 he says. £22.70 I was quoted I said. ‘Yes’ he said but apparently the div who took my order told him it was main street Ballymoney and not Main Street Stranocum even though I gave the full address and postcode. ‘I tried calling and left you a message’ he said. He didn’t.I paid the extra much to my annoyance on afterthought. The food was piping hot. There is no way he was driving around looking for where we where. He obvs just could not be bothered driving his fairly ample arse the short drive from Ballymoney to Stranocum and decided to charge me an extra £2 for the pleasure. All in all if you want a beautiful Indian meal in this area this is the place. It was delicious. Just beware of the inadequacy of the staff and please pay what you are quoted in the event that lazy bollox is your delivery driver.

Weve been ordering from here 2-3 times a month & usually the good arrives in about 15mins .....always order the same thing, chicken Punjabi Masala, pilau rice,2 plain naan....this suits us both as I cant eat anything too spicy & its plenty for us to share....ad past wee while Ive noticed it getting a little bit spicier but still just about edible for me....order tonight & I know things are slower with the lockdown etc but almost 2 hrs later it arrived (about 15 mins after I rang to ask where it was)....on dishing it out I thought it looked different plus there were mine of the usual green peppers or onions, basically about 8 chunks of chicken in a sauce & the sauce was far too spicy for me,even the naan wasnt as good so I ended up eating the free poppadum....well if you can call it free as I paid £15 for the order & delivery!!....hubby of course had no problem with it but the dog got mine!!...really disappointed!!

We have just had a takeaway meal from Syed at the Indus Valley Express, Milltown, Ballymoney and being absolute honest it has been excellent. We order using the click and collect service via the Indus Valley App and what a clean and simple process it was. We were able to select our dishes and then make specific dietary requirement and menu changes via the App. When we picked up our meal it was exactly as we had ordered, the exact changes we asked for and the meal did not disappoint in any way. When I went to collect the meal, Syed has ensured that the pick up is fully COVID-19 compliant and safe. We all really enjoyed our meal, every bit of it,and without any hesitation we would recommend the Indus Valley Express. If you can I would recommend for ease, speed and accuracy that you use the App. It’s so good

Absolutely disgusted at the man who owns this place. After ordering twice out of here and the second time getting the order wrong again, I decided this time I would contact them back to see if I could get it changed, now I might add (my wife as witness) I was calm and trying to ask the man to help me out, to this his reply was “bring how many people you want down here” and “your a lier, I take you to court and we will settle it there” I mean all I was asking was for him to change a ‘Chicken Tikka Chilli Masala’ for a ‘Chicken Tikka Masala’.I would ask and say that anyone who sees this and or read this, never steps foot in the place again, this man should never be in business.

Its impossible to give extra reviews. The only way for me is to continually edit and add new curry reviews as a foreward!June. .. we fancied another curry. Sayed asked me to try a new curry but would tell me what it was when we went to pick it up! My son had his Lamb Balti and Pilau Rice. Blast! When we got home, I had realised that I had forgotten to order rice. Doh! Must remember to order rice next time.My curry? Sayed and Tariq had prepared for me a Carrot and Lamb dish! Wow! Plenty of thinly sliced carrot which contributed to a nice, pale orange colour. The curry was so flavoursome but on the hot side, spice wise. I would suggest to try it on the medium strength unless youre a madras type of person! It really is worth trying and dont forget to order Pilau Rice with it!Its the middle of May and we all fancied another curry. My son had the Rogan Josh. My wife had the Indus Mexicana (see below in the April review) whilst I had the superb Lamb Haryali. As expected, the curries were to Saheeds and his kitchen staffs high standard of cooking. However, there is a new Curry being offered so we had to try it as well. Its based on a Fijian recipe. I would liken it to the classic 1950s dish Coronation Chicken but without sultanas and a little more heat from the spices (I would classify it as a mild to medium strength). Its also creamy in taste. A sprinkling of coriander creates a dish that if you like Kormas but want a bit more punch, this Carioli Chicken should definitely be tried!Below are my other reviews....Its the last day of April and we as a family fancied another curry night. I asked Saheed if he would recommend me something different (I was going to have the superb Lamb Haryali). Saheed said he would cook me his Indus Mexicana which isnt on the menu. I paired it with his always faultless Mushroom Pilau. My wife stuck with her usual Chicken Tikka with Garlic Mayo in Naan and it didnt disappoint!Needless to say, this Indus Mexicana should be tried by everyone. I had the lamb version. My wife sampled and will order it next time, you cant get higher praise than that! I would guess the Indus Mexicana is a fusion of a Salsa and an English lamb Rogan Josh ie without cream! As far as the chilli heat is concerned, I would rate it as medium in comparison with Saheeds other curries. My son tried the Lamb Balti instead of his usual Chicken Balti and devoured it! He noticed just how much the lamb alters the structure and obviously the taste of a Balti in a good way.If you fancy something different, please ask Saheed for his Indus Mexicana. You will not be disappointed.PS Im not on commission for writing this!Heres my original review.I suppose you could say Im a regular here having moved over from the capital of Curry....Stoke!My taste palette has been brought up on lots of spices, flavour and medium/hot heat so moving here nearly 20 years ago was a wake up call on how Kormas and Cream in sauces rule!If you want an authentic curry (or one that would be given 5 stars by regular curry eaters across the water in Scotland/England/Wales) the Indus Valley is for you. The Jaipuri ticks all my boxes and for something different try the Haryali which has mint as one of the main ingredients.I know everybody has an opinion but to see 1 star reviews baffles me as I have been a regular at the Coleraine restaurant and now Ballymoney and have never experienced a bad meal.Just before Christmas, three of us ordered over the phone for collection. Upon arriving back, we noticed one of the orders had been forgotten. A quick phone call and within 5 minutes, the order had arrived....and it was only Pilau Rice. Thats what I call customer service. Its a curry house to be proud of in Ballymoney and Mao next door is the equivalent for Chinese food which is great as my wife cant stand curry! Its a win win situation for me!

Absolutely the worst Indian food weve ever had, and were foodies, and have traveled a lot. Pure extortion. Paid £14 for a bowl of curry with 5 pieces of chicken in it and took it that the small bowl (100grams) of rice would be included in the price........noooooo it was not. It was £3. Unbelievable!!!! £17 for something I could get for £7-9 in most other places saffron (Portrush) Indian. Not just that put I paid this twice for myself and my partner. Also the two starters were served 15 minutes of eachother which is horribly disappointing!!! The aloo azabak (not sure of the spelling...sorry) was £5.95. it was 3 half of a baby potato with some cheese and meat. It was badly overpriced as there was not enough for a mouse to eat nevermind a lm average human. To add the flavour of the curries was not what it used to be, so I am assuming they have a new chef. Nearly £44 for a starter and main....rediculous. wont be going back. Overall very poor.
