This corporate office is the absolute worse!! First, don’t call expecting anything to get done… you will be left to do consistent follow up to ensure your concern doesn’t end up in an “archive folder.” Furthermore, the staff is childish and doesn’t know how to professionally address customer concerns. It’s a wonderful anything even gets done!!

This is one of the most disorganized and ill managed companies Ive ever worked for. Two managers are rarely on site. One has been working from home since before pandemic because she has another job she works at during those hours. HR is aware but does nothing about it. Other manager hands off all tasks to others and leaves for the day. Theres no direction or communication. It is up to employees to figure out daily functions. Do not work here.

Worst experience ever. Too many mistakes.1. I had myself and my wife visited this location a few weeks ago for our annual Eye exam and this is what happened. First I was charged additional fee for An exam that was not performed. Even that my wife explained to them during her visit that this exam was not performed to me, they refused initially to reimburse me. I had to go myself and argue with the tech who did my initial visit that I have not had the test in order to reimburse me. She was able to check in the system and see that the test was not performed and issued the reimbursement. Not sure why she did not do that when my wife asked?2. I called twice for my wife prescription to be sent by email which never happened.3. After ordering my wife’s contact from Costco, we found that the prescription did not have her correct contact brand that she asked for (she have shown the contact box to the doctor to prescribe the same brand).Not recommend at all.

Its unfortunate to have to give even one star.I just got a bill for a paid in full service from six months ago.For three LONG months AFTER getting my glasses Ive been dealing with a basic fraud issue from Clarkson.They charged for polarized lens on top of transition lenses...you cant have both on the same lenses.Then they charged for a warranty that I cant have because I provided a third party frame, that makes any warranty void.I thought that was bad enough, but then they tried to charge for the frames I provided.Dont even have enough space to discuss getting the run around of trying to pick up my glasses, sent to two different locations on three seperate occasionsThis company turned pathetic.

They hired a friend of mine and told her she was doing very well during training. Until a week late she got the news that they didnt want her back. He said she wasnt catching on quickly enough. I call that a failure on their part. I cannot believe this place. WARNINGS TO ALL.

Long time customer of Eye Care Center. Just had my annual eye exam. Ordered new glasses and paid in full. The next day I received a call that the lens I ordered were not available. This resulted in a reduction in price. $189.00. It has been 2 weeks and I was told a refund check had to be processed out of corporate office and would take another 6 weeks. I should have used a credit card. This is a lousy way to treat loyal customers. Its OK the next time I have an eye exam and order glasses it will not be with Eye Care Center. More about the principal and respect for your customers.

Hello I recently had my eye exam and glasses at your Festus location. Chloe and I ordered anti glare and transition on my daily bifocals. I then ordered a pair of plain glasses with just the blue for inside the house. When they came in my daily wear glasses didnt have transition or anti glare.I tried talking to the store manager Rocky for help explaining that I have severe blethrospasms and they wont work. She refused any help at all.I explained to her I am disabled and battling Cancer so I have no extra money. She refused to even offer a discount on the lenses.I dont understand why the worker didnt write the order correctly but I cant help what she did.If anyone can help please respond as the people at the store are not helping and very rud.Thankfully George Massman

Ive been going to clarkson for about 3-4 years now and never had an issue..... until i went to an appointment by myself and was scammed out of $99. i was asked if i had any interest in contacts (ive only had glasses since 6th grade) to which i replied yes, i need more information because im a 20 year old still on my parents insurance and i would be paying for the contacts myself. 3 different workers interacted with me about the contacts, no one mentioned anything to me about having to pay $99 to get fitted for contacts. dr hubbard at the ellisville location told me that as long as someone was in the building to teach me how to put the contacts in and get fitted, thats something that could be done that same day. still no mention of a $99 fitting fee. i dont get told about it until after the fact, when im about to leave my appointment. i paid the $99, all i was concerned with was the fact that i had to pay that, not the fact that i was blindsided by the payment- until i got home and told my mom about what happened and she proceeded to tell me that since they didnt make me aware of the payment before hand that i needed to call back and request a refund because had i known getting contacts wouldve costed me $100 i wouldnt have said yes. i called back, asked for a manager and the man on the phone told me his manager wouldnt be back until monday- this was on a thursday. today is monday and i call back- the manager proceeds to tell me that despite not being warned beforehand, the $99 goes to dr hubbard and thats not her money to be refunded. so to say the least, clarkson eyecare can suck it, i will never be back in any of their locations again. not that they care, but i hope this review helps someone not make the same mistake i did.

Absolutely TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. I tried calling my specific Clarkson Eye care location and was rerouted to the main/corporate office. They wouldnt help me figure out my billing based off my current insurance. After asking 5 times if they could figure it out the, older sounding, lady finally came back with what it would cost (but yet she said it couldnt be done - obviously she lied b/c shes lazy at her job). Then I asked to setup an appointment - She tells me she clicked on the appointment schedule over and over and there was nothing available. I told her, okay guess Ill schedule with a competitor then and she replied with okay and hung up.

The worst business office one can deal with. Absolute liars. Entire billing department should be replaced. I will never do business with them again. Filing claims against ones insurance for services that hadn’t been rendered by Clarkson Eye centers.

Horrible place of employment...I just started yesterday...and today I quit! Was lied on about being on my phone...and my phone was in my purse the entire day...and was told I couldnt go to the bathroom UNLESS it was my break or lunch. This place is a joke and its not worth the pennies they pay!

I had a eye exam at Clarkson Eye Care in Lincoln County Missouri Troy Missouri, i Feel like i have been ripped off i wanted the no line bifocals & have them tinted, i am on a fixed income & on disability my insurance had paid $200.00 dollars & i still had to pay $ 267.56 thats 467.56, i didnt get the tint that i wanted the frames are a cheap plastic Walmart has them for 54 dollars & theirs was 129 dollars which they say gave me a sale for $90.30. No scratch gard or nothing I want to no what can be done about this i am so Angry i got a cheap pair of ugly glasses for almost $ 500.00 dollars i want to throw these in the trash they ripped me off & i want Something done or this will be going to court.

If you are applying for the contact center position, DONT BOTHER. My Wife has a medical condition that causes her severe pain during her time of the month and she had to leave 3 hours early due to this doctor diagnosed condition. She cleared it with her supervisor who cleared it with her manager. 2 hours later she was fired for leaving early. Her manager Gail, two faced witch bold faced lied to my Wifes agency and told them she just left with no notice. I call for a boycott if Clarkson Eye care and Eyecare Partners until this train wreck of a manager no longer has a job there.
