It is a State University established by the Government of Karnataka in 2010 under the Karnataka State Universities Act 2000. It is an affiliating University with 120 affiliated colleges offering both undergraduate and post graduate programmes. The University covers the districts of Ballari and Koppal. The region under the jurisdiction of the University is considered economically and educationally backward compared to national and the state average. The University, hence, endeavors to embark on innovative means of higher education in order to make it both qualitative and affordable.

VSK University Ballari has a study centre at campus with hostel facility. All the degree colleges in Ballari and Koppal comes under VSK University Ballari.It was started around 10 years ago which has nearly 200 colleges under it.

Superb faculty , like Ravi Narayana , jayanna ,Arun , Sunil , Nirmala , Archana , Prashanth this people are very good staff and very supportive team . Now Im working in one of the famous financial institution KPMG Global services .

It is a very difficult to get any convocation certificate after the made payment getting 2 years its is very bad university in karnataka and under the University college also not getting proper information regards this .dont Go for any Course from This VSKUB

The worst university i have ever seen, there is no value for hard work hear, just you pay some money before exams you will get question papers, then get out of out marks in a single day, no need of going to college, no facility in the university, strongly supporting not to join this university.
