There is Hanuman Temple in the mountain, the mountain is very awesome, there is a rock which is like Needle, there is even another rock which is in the mountain which when hit with stone produces different sound

There is a statue of Anjaneya Swami on a hillock in this place.It is believed that the name needle first came to the pond from the needle hill at this place. Needlestone means magnet (hook, magnet) which means to draw and attract. Whatever the case, evidence of the name needlestone is found in the rock inscriptions.
