This Village is our families historical village. Our family still has farmland here and the Gurdwara Sahib and the pool/tank that was built was something that my father Banta Singh along with my uncles Kartar Singh, Gurbax Singh, Gurbachan Singh helped to expand and upgrade (as this was their childhood village). My eldest uncle (Maghar Singh) still lives here (hes over 80 now) along with his family. My fathers greatest source of pride is upgrading the Gurdwara sahib, which he saw as open and inclusive to all faiths. Even though 3 of the brothers are now in Canada, their hearts are still deeply entwined in this region. I am very proud of them for this accomplishment.
