Incredibly rude staff who made us feel extremely unwelcome fromthe moment we entered. A real shame as the interior and cocktails were great - however the staff should really consider making all visitors feel welcome even if we weren’t residents. I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends.

This place will be stunning. There are some building works to complete, and service niggles to iron out. We’ll be back next summer and looking forward to a 5 star stay.

Very expensive. Restaurant poor service. Booked table 2 months ago but when we arrived no note of our bookingRoom very nice but bathroom badly designed. Could slip coming out of batch due to no handrail.Also you could see inside room from outsideBrilliant location with great views

Fabulous meal in a friendly, relaxed setting, overlooking South Sands Beach. Every member of staff is delightful and working hard to make this one of Salcombes best dining experiences. Cant wait to go again!

High specification rooms, stylish with a great location, sun terrace, and standout staff. Only let down was the complimentary use of kayaks on the beach. Non available as it was a maintenance day, clearly a brush off and a shame as a beautiful sunny weekend and one of the reasons we booked.

Fantastic and Bella was a great help during our stay inevery way , first class receptionist and lovely person who made our stay even more special and enjoyable. Thank you especially for arranging my Burger and Chips I craved after the punishing walk , that I felt I earned !

Went here for lunch today, ate outside and what a setting! Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Especially the chocolate fondant!

Don’t bother going. Saw on the hotels Instagram that the terrace is no bookings/walk ins only so we drove to the hotel for lunch and cocktails. Not to mention the road to the hotel is awful. We turned up to be rudely turned away by parking attendant who bluntly said it’s bookings only. A waste of a journey and The staff member we spoke to was rude. (And half the hotel is still a building site)

The hotel is absolutely beautiful but the service is poor. This may be teething issues as being a new hotel, but generally service was very slow and they kept running out of dishes.I also accidentally left my shower items in the room (a total of £55 worth of stuff), so I tried to call straight away to see if they could send it back to me, waited on hold for over an hour in total across 6 different calls and no one ever answered. Then emailed and got no response. Then called to follow up on my email, finally got through to someone and she said she would come back to me. 5 days later, still waiting! Its not even the value of the items that bothers me, its the total lack of service for customers that have spent over £6,000 for the weekend with them! Clearly their cleaning staff have stolen my items or they just cant be bothered!

We booked in the restaurant weeks ago for a special anniversary meal. We arrived, parked in the restaurant car park and were amazed to be told by a car park attendant, they were expecting a large group and we couldnt park invthe restaurant car park. We were told to park in residential streets, we were reluctant as my husband has severe breathing difficulties, nonetheless, we endeavoured to park in residential area, needlesstosay there was no parking near the restaurant or further a field. Hence, our special long awaited meal at the Harbour Beachside Restaurant didnt take place. On ringing the restaurant to explain what had happened in their car park - there was no reply.

Lovely 5 night stay in the brand new Harbour Beach Club Hotel. There is still building work going on and as yet no spa but you can use the one at the sister hotel in Salcombe. The room we had was beautifully appointed we never tired of the stunning view. The staff were friendly and attentive excellent service in the bar/dining area thank you, Steve and team, and also Jo for catering to all our demands!! There are a few teething problems which I am sure will be corrected mainly housekeeping forgetting to replenish towels etc, cleaning room late in the day and reception never seem to answer the phone! However all in all a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

Service was good but for a restaurant right on the beach they had No catch of the day? The mussels were a bit gritty and the bread that came with it tasted old. Crab nachos were good and the deck is 👌
