Very descent place for both lunch and dinner. Orders some skewers of seafood and chicken - both were delicious. Wife had a fried rice - which wasn’t bad at all. Portions are huge, prices are very much reasonable. I would suggest taking a seat on second floor as there is a bit more fresh air.

I stopped her for a mid morning breakfast. The setting is nice in a tranquil garden area that was quiet despite the general noise of the outside area. I had eggs benedict which were nice but maybe a little bit on the small side. Also a good pot of earl grey tea which was lovely. The overall menu looked good and its worth checking out

Good food, beautiful garden, millions of hours of waiting. The only negative side to this place was waiting for everything. We waited to order, then we waited for the food to arrive, we ordered the digestives early, but afterwards we waited again for the bill. By the way, I suggested paying at the bar directly, they insisted that someone will bring it to the table. Int he end an hour long dinner became a 3-hour evening experience. I hope they get faster somehow. If you think youll just eat something and move on to a bar, consider these little details.

Located in Legian street, come here at night to enjoy nightlife in Bali. The restaurant comfortable. Price and taste still affordable in the tourist place. Pork ribs so soft. Nice place to hanging out with friend , family or more.

Great ambience and beautiful table settings. Staff are also friendly and attentive. The seafood skewer(11000idr) is a must try, the prawns are fresh and the fish is so tender. Yummy!Bali cider(5000idr) is so refreshing, you can’t even taste the alcohol in it. They serve dessert too but we ate too much and couldn’t eat anymore.Must try when you’re around Legian.

Great location and atmosphere. Seated outside under the trees. Service was a little slow but once we ordered it wasnt too long. But found this is common for Bali. Everyone enjoyed their food. Good amounts of spice. Tasty selection. A bit more pricey compared to others in the same street but still very affordable. Happy hours from 5-7pm with free snack of spring rolls or French fries with the first drinks. 3 X Bintang for 75k. We would happily return.

Stumbled upon this place when looking for dinner. The tuna steak was done perfectly (I requested for medium) and wasnt too dry. The accompanying sides were delicious. My companions coq au vin and fish & chips were good too. Only issue was mosquitos around the area in the evening (but thats expected in outdoor seating).

We were drawn into this place because it was the only restaurant on the road that didnt hassle and push us to come in and eat.Glad we did! We have returned twice since.You can have a glass of wine for $58k, Mie Goreng for around the same price, and chicken satay over coals brought out to the table. The service is kind and fast.They also bake their desserts in-house, and YES they have free wifi. :)Nice quiet place in the middle of the busy area to people watch and enjoy a meal.

I really want to commend and thank the staff here. We had a lovely meal but as my husband went to pay, he fainted near the counter and hit his head on the rocks. The staff immediately tended to him and cared for him, providing first aid and all, until he was feeling better and ready to head back to the hotel. It was a scary experience as it was a foreign country, so Im extremely grateful for the hospitality we were shown. Additionally, the food and overall atmosphere of the restaurant is great too. A nice relaxing place amongst the busy streets of Bali.

Food was great. Like, so delicious. A little pricey compared with other places weve eaten this trip but not too bothered because the food was so good.Wish they would put explanations of each cocktail on the menu, especially the ones theyve made up.

100% the best all round meal Ive eaten in Bali. My wife went all indo food and I went all french. I dont usually risk a western meal but Im happy we did.Yeah we spent more then usual but $50 for 2 courses and cocktails is worth it when its this great. Treat yourself!

Food was good. Atmosphere was pleasant. Staff could have been more attentive. They tend to sit in a place where they cant see all the tables.One complaint is that they list a pear tarte titan on the menu but what they serve isnt a tarte titan. Its just a pear pie or a pear tarte. They should update the menu to avoid confusion.

Extremely disappointing...the gardens are beautiful and very inviting..but thats where it ends for this popular little restaurant with an undeserved reputation..4 of us all disappointed with our food. Seafood Platter overcooked (as is common in Bali Im afraid), Eggs Benedict with untoasted muffins and a chicken casserole dish with no flavour. The traditional black sticky rice for dessert was the redeemer. Will only order coffee here in the future as it is a lovely oasis on Legian St on a hot day...

Ive been coming to this place since 1990, and the standard of food has never dropped. Excellent cakes (a rare treat in Bali), delicious Balinese and Western food, and as the name implies, superb coffee. Its also wonderfully cool upstairs even on a stinking hot day.

Great ambient, is amazing to dine in surrounding by so many trees within Legian street. The foods are good, decent choice of cocktails and beverages but looking at the scale that is really reasonable. Beside general table seatings, top deck seating and cabana is also available to cater for special function.

A divine experience. Once in bali for an extended time, the noise of chatter and forks and knives hitting the plates is a very welcomed experience. Beautiful decor and beautiful food. Never disappoints.

The Tom yam goong. Is the best soup Ive ever had. Come here everytime I visit Bali.

It took quite a long time for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. The food was amazing, great atmosphere and not that expensive. I greatly recommend the nasi goreng.

We got into town after dark, and were looking for something a bit quiet, and a bit locally authentic.This place hits the spot. Set in a nice quiet garden surround, the atmosphere is relaxed. The food was delicious and relatively well priced.There seemed to be less bogans in this restaurant, always a bonus.Free wifi with order, also always a bonus.Service was charming and warm.Quite liked this place.

Good atmosphere, central and great service. I wish they would upgrade the 20 year old Faema Espresso Machine to a La Marzocco so the coffee was great Vs OK. We had breakfast and dinner here and both were good.

Poppies sister restaurant. Poppies is our favourite restaurant in Kuta, amazing service, delicious food, we have been there four times already. This restaurant should not be associated with Poppies. The service was pretty poor, the waitress seemed young, untrained and unprofessional. We sat up the top (really nice area to eat, surrounded by plants and trees and away from the noise of the street) and were mostly forgotten about along with the other table up there with us. Were not offered drinks when ours ran out, had to go looking for someone to get a bill. Only saw the waitress when she dropped our food and ran. There were only three tables in the restaurant, the service should have been a lot better. The menu was similar but lacked explanation of dish ingredients, would be great if it had a different menu. My partner had the fish and chips, I had the nasi goreng but vegetarian, both were good, the fish was chewy but unsure if its the type of fish (which was not advertised) or if it was overcooked. Vegan friendly (no animal or seafood meats or products including all dairy, egg, oyster sauce and fish paste) options advertised on the menu would be a plus.

I went in at 10pm for a quick bite but the kitchen was closed. They were good enough to make me a spaghetti Bolognese and while I was there they turned away (on a Friday night) about twenty people looking for dinner. Service is good. The spaghetti was very average.
