Not so visible from the main road Jalan Raya Kedampang, you got to know its there before you get there. But its worth the trip.Great restaurant surrounded with Balinese rice fields in the heart of Denpasar. There are not many such kind of restaurants in Denpasar city area any more.Food is great, everything is made from scratch. The naan is fluffy and fresh, different from typical Indian restaurants in Bali. For those who dont know what to order, ask for Thali and ask them to choose the 6 dishes for you.
While the ambience is awesome the food was tasteless. Terrible indeed. The lady at the desk was nice enough to take our feedback and said she will inform the chef.
Delicious food, great view!
The best Indian Vedic food at Vedic Kitchen, Bali. 200% recommend visiting this wonderful place to try authentic indian Vedic food.
It dont deserve 1 star. I can say it a FLY KITCHEN. Order big plate but got 2 (two) fly in my boy friend soup. Worse is we already try the soup. The food it not Indian food. If u had been to little India, u will know the different. The food doesnt taste like anything very less flavour. No discount for the fly. No apology from manager or from the staff. Bad experience.
Such good sambar and idli. Got my fix of authentic Indian vegetarian food
The best indian vegetarian restaurant at bali
Delicious Indian food in the middle of the rice fields. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere.
Really great place to relax food tastes great as well. Definitely would recommend
Ordered from GojekDal soupSpinach tofu and chic peas(choley) stew.Dal soup was okayish in taste but other two were soo underwhelmingSpinach curry taste like its served to a hospital patient and choley stew curry had no consistency the chick peas was dipped into water bought it for 47k.May be the chef did not cook my meal with with love.💔
Nice food, stay healty !
Madly in love with their Arnabeet and Bittergourd Curry. Arnabeet for me is like the Indian style of creamy cauliflower. DAMN GOOD!!!
Here was the best authentic Indian food I have had in Bali. Ill definitely be back. The energy was clean and the atmosphere was peaceful in both the indoor and outside seating areas. 🙏🏽🧡
Bad service for Gojek/Grab driver
Amazing food, inexpensive, calm peaceful environment
A bit hippy trippy, we were eyed with suspicion by the other customers in their uniforms of loose fitting yoga clothing and grey haired manbuns. But the food was good. Service good. Something worth trying.
Found a Pure Veg restaurant in Bali...its a great place and tasty food too.. Staff is so polite and friendly... Quantity of food as compared to price is very good.. Definately a must visit place if you are a Vegetarian and visiting Seminyak...
Nice vegetarian paradise for vegetarian people near by to various pvt pool resorts enjoyed good indian food looks like a temple
I missed India chai and I got here.. Good vibe :)
Vedic food is natural medicine for the body, explained the friendly proprietor, who also teaches yoga here. After eating here at least a dozen times, Im inclined to agree! The food is fresh, clean and leaves you feeling satisfied without feeling full. I really should eat here every day!
Superb place. Really good homely food. Not for those who fancy spicy Indian food, as the food here is simple but really good and tasty. We just happened to accidently discover this as it was opposite to where we stay, but it became our go to place for food.Staff is super good and the place surely deserves full kudos
I eat here every otherday. The food is incredible and super clean. My body loves me for it.Thier coconut milk bannana lassie is off the charts
Good vegetarian food with a holistic approach to business. There is positive energy in the ambience. We feel light and the Indian food is good. Had a good conversation here, welcoming staff and would recommend everyone to visit the place if your in Bali. People who are craving for Indian food do visit this kitchen.
Friendly staff and beautiful garden. But very overpriced for the miniature portions - it says large plate but there were five small pieces of cheese in the paneer dish and three small kofta balls in the kofta.
Noy so great.. i got naan and dal unfortunately both tastes bad.
Pure Veg Food ...Ate in three Indian Restaurant in Bali and this one is most economical and home made type food. You Get thali like indian style and spoon made of wood
Terrible food, all the different curry & vegetables are made in the same spices. Its tasteless and bland. Nothing like what Indian food is supposed to be.
The food is beautiful, and the place is really calm. The owners are also very friendly and they helped us suggesting what to eat and drink, which we really appreciate. Totally recommend this place!!
Delicious mango lassie, fresh juices and yummy food. Loved it. Definitely going back for round three soon. Bilal, Ulu and their two doggies are welcoming and lovely to chat with. Theyve curated a beautiful ambiance worthy to be called home away from home; definitely worth checking out.
Nice ambience.. very friendly n generous staff....good Indian food
Perfect Vegie foods
We tried samosa and dosa ,it is good. Onion uttapam was not that good.even mango lassi was bad. Dal was just the boiled lentils no spices, rice quantity was less..
After all the positive reviews was expecting way more from this place - palak paneer was a very disappointing dish. For over USD4, got some tasteless pureed spinach with literally five small pieces of paneer + some bread and salad on the side (btw, salad was the best part of the whole meal). Although, the staff was really friendly and the garden very peaceful.
Great ambiance and relaxed setting. Neat Indian vegetarian food in Bali.We were lucky to have this little restaurant right Infront of our hotel stay. Also, loved those two big cute dogs.
A vegetarian restaurant in baliNot so expensiveVery good staffAnd the food u get will make u remember ur homeVery much indian away from indiaA must visit place for indian food lovers
Its a pure veg restaurant serves south and north indian food. Have tried thali and Dosa verities and it was very tasty.
Terrible service and below average Indian food. We where eating out with 8 friends (2 of us where regulars) and our complaints of portion size and taste were joked away and refused to solve. It was Diwali and a total scam
You can bathe in the sun to warm your head, sit by the fire to warm your hands, but only Vedics Hummus can warm your heart. ❤️The food is amazing, I love their assortment of different breads which is great to dip in their home made Hummus! Oh man the Hummus was so good...Ps. I tried their other dishes as well and theyre amazing as well, but I cant stay away from the Hummus...
Good and healthy food and beautiful and simple architectures of the food joint and ypga classes at the back yard
The flavour is not what you would normal get in an Indian. Flavour was non existent, no exaggeration it was the most bland meal Ive ever had and thats nothing to do with Indian food. I get what they are trying to do with the minimalist flavours but it is just disappointing when you go to an Indian to want some flavour (isnt that why we like it)
THE best Indian vegetarian food on the island. This is a home style Indian vegetarian experience, Nilesh takes fresh ingredients and cooks different food each day from different parts of India. Dont come in expecting an elaborate menu, but taste whatever is being cooked on the day, the way it should be!!
Authentic Indian food, great taste and pleasant ambience.Wish I could give more stars
This is not what I would call Indian food. We had what tasted like water + lentils in the name of sambar. The dosa was served with tomato chutney which is the same thing that was served when we ordered ghajjar kofta. The paratha was hard and cracking when I tried to break it. Overall just very terrible food. We went here because we saw all the good ratings so maybe we just had a bad experience that day. Not sure, but there are plenty of amazing vegan food restaurants around Bali so I wouldnt recommend anyone go to this one!!!
Amazing veg food. Good ambience. The Samoyed dogs are very cute and friendly.
Comfortable and can be relaxed space.also food is nice... love chai tea. waitress is very kind.
Food was delicious, and the outside garden and trees spectacular. Great service.
Excellent vegetarian vegan indian food! The Thali is outstanding and best value in town.
In Bali it is best place for Indian foof
Beautiful place... Great food.... Nice people
Wonderful experienceGood foodPure VegetarianReasonable rate in bali.
Delicious Ayurvedic Indian vegetarian food for happy tummy and soul. Very cozy interior, it is a place to be if you want to eat and chill after yoga class. They also have a good yoga shalla on their backyard. Totally recomended for one of those “I am so tired I need to rest and eat well” kinda holiday in Bali. Calling all exhausted Urban Warriors out there. Ask for their 3 days detox program.
A vegetarian hotel in bali. Wouldnt say taste was very good but was atleast vegetarian. Moreover it offer place to yoga and mediation.
Finally found coffee...food looked amazing. Will have to go back
Great environmen, just dont buy food here
Thali is big potion !! indian menu , mild taste.
Just visited after renovation, which gave the place a whole new look! Seating is well arranged, decorations is done with great taste and ambiance is soothing and quiet. Food is of a high quality rarely seen in this part of the island. So if you are a foodie, this is the new haven for your taste buds! The menu is composed of vegetarian dishes from Indian and Levantin cuisine. Food is prepared in respect of Vedic tradition with care, love and gifted hands.Clientele is a mixed between Yogi (Nataraja yoga shala is inside)) and regulars who are coming to get their weekly fix for healthy food.
Taste is very light not like indian food.
Really good indian food, must visit place for vegetarians and vegans and also for people who like yoga.
Relaxing place - friendly passionate owners and great delicious food - recommended !
Loved it...... Loved it........ loved it...... Best place to have indian food in Bali... those who want to have real healthy indian food should try this kitchen.......... love to the core😍😍
Taste, atmosphere and service at its best in Bali.🙂
Somehow the food has been bland both times Ive been here. Its an unsatisfying experience. On top of that the food was just not good. The paneer was more like soup with a few tiny pieces in it. Aloo Gobi was watery and had maybe one piece of cauliflower in it. The naan is naan in name only. The chole was decent I guess. And they were sold out of chapati, parathas and a few other things. It is a nice atmosphere with kind staff, 2 beautiful dogs, and a menu that should be tasty. But unfortunately in 6 months and a couple visits, the food is still unappetizing and not worth paying for.
Great vegan menu with very few none vegan dishes all delicious and fairly priced . Would eat again and again and again
Food is excellent and out smoothly was a little bland. Overall great place
I have been there a few times, always very good, obviously prepared with love and care. Peaceful place just outside the busy Seminyak
Me and my partner wanted to escape fromthe city life in Jakarta, so we flew to Bali and we are so glad we found this little piece of heaven on our first day..it was a very very nice mind and body experience doing Yoga and the dinner was really nice, Samosa at its best. The Owner Yuli, and Bilal was very welcoming and inspiring, i felt like i have just been enlightened after talking to them, beautiful souls.I will come back soon , and again, thank you for all the kindness and the soulfood, everything was just what i needed and will always need to heal and recharge.
The tomatoes in my totamo dosa weren’t ripe and the peas in my samosa were the frozen kind. The potato and lentil samosa was good.
Nice Kofta, Nice place companied by the Samoyets
I ordered GO-JEK from this restaurant, so this review doesn’t cover service or atmosphere. I ordered a dosa set, poha and samosas. The dosa’s were to smallest I have ever seen. The two dosas together are still smaller than one regular proper dosa. Apart from that, these were not at all what you would expect from a dosa. The curry that came with it was average. Extremely overpriced for the dose and taste!2 potato samosas, again overpriced. The poha... what the heck happened to that?? Super dry, and if it tasted like anything at all, it tasted very chemical! I took 2 spoons only and sadly enough fed it to my puppies.Zero stars aren’t possible, else it would have been zero stars. What a shame of a restaurant!!
Relaxing atmosphere, nice staff, tasty drinks and food. Prices are okay too.
Went there after seeing a very good rating and reviews. Ac was not working , Uthappam was partially cooked , bhatura was like matthi very hard to eat. Service was very slow.
Just awesome Indian food with cheap prices
Calm and relaxing place! Food is very good!
Pure vegetarian food in Bali, good service but taste is not good.
Great place! great food!Recommended!
If you are craving for authentic Indian veg food this is the place. Had a great time there. The ambiance is great and Nilesh and his team do a great job in satisfying you tongue. Great dosa/ samosa/ roti/ curry/ lassi etc. Must go place for jain and pure veg food.
If your an Indian then the food is very bland and will not like it and service is very late.
Excellent food here... Especially if you dont eat meat.
Genuine real yogic food! A balance meal, amazing chai tea.. Vegetarian/ vegan options.
Perhaps the only pure veg place in bali. We ordered dosa , chapati and chola stew and it was just so pure and amazing...highly recommended!
Awesome❤Good place and The best indian food that ive ever tried.
Beautiful place, good food, amazing people...i will be back!
