Shivsundar Complex was developed by well known business family Kasam Bros and others in 1987 - 1994 at this location. The Complex was to build mini bungalows upto 100 in numbers. Later due to financial difficulties faced and loss of interest the project was given up around 1994. The remaining plots were sold to various parties privately and later developed as small housing societies and row house complexes. The land originally belonged to Margaj family, natives from Kulgaon. Mr. Dashrath Margaj from the same family was also a Mayor of the town. CA Arvind Karnik was first resident of the Complex and has been living since Feb 1988. His house is named Adish. Presently there are three row-house complexes and almost 25 bungalows and few Housing Societies.
