Shri Nageshwar Nath temple at the banks of holy Saryu river is an old temple established by Kush . It has an religious value and a big crowd on all the times but heavy rush on Monday and important days .
I have already visited in this place and this is the best temple at saryu bank for my mother and all of familyl love this place and temple very much
Nageshwarnath temple is dedicated to God Shiva, the Lord of Snakes.Situated at Ram Ki Pairi, this temple houses one of the 12 Jyotirlingams in its sanctum sanctorum. When Kush, son of Rama, lost his armlet while bathing in Sarayu River, it was retrieved by Naag-kanya, the daughter of a snake, who was a devotee of Shiva. As a gesture of gratitude, Kush built Nageshwarnath Temple. This was the only temple that survived until the reign of Chandragupta Vikramaditya even though the city was in ruins. It was rebuilt by Naval Rai, a minister of Safdar Jang in 1750.
This is one of the top atractions in ayodhya. It is said to be stablished by Kush the son of Lord Ram thousands of years ago. This place is always humming with hustle by devoties of bhagwan shiv every morning and on every mas shivratri that is every 14th day of dark fortnight huge crowds appear from surrounding districts to perform abhushek of bhagwan shiv. This is very energetic and alive temple and I have experienced it myself that your prayers are answered here.If you wish to perform a rudrabhushek, many preasts are available here and you can do it for just a thousand ruppees or so. They will arrange for milk and other goodies required for puja.
The temple of Nageshwarnath is said to have been established by Kush, the son of Rama. Legend has it that Kush lost his armlet, while bathing in the Saryu, which was picked up by a Nag-Kanya, who fell in love with him. As she was a devotee of Shiva, Kush erected this temple for her. It is said that this has been the only temple to have survived till the time of Vikramaditya, the rest of city had fallen into ruins and was covered by dense forests. It was by means of this temple that Vikramaditya was able to locate Ayodhya and the sites of different shrines here. The festival of Shivratri is celebrated here with great pomp.

This holy temple of Adi Yogi Lord Shiva is on the banks of Ram ki Paidi. Here, after bathing in the holy water of Maa Saryu, what to say about the feeling of offering water after having darshan of Lord Bholenath. In this holy city, there is an influx of devotees coming from all over India, but from all over the world, who after having darshan of Bhole Nath go to see Lord Shri Ram ji and Lord Hanuman ji. If you want to have a Hindu darshan, then you have to take a bath in Mother Saryu in the morning and have darshan of Lord Bholenath. Jai Bhole Nath.
Om Namah Shivaya
Shrinageshwarnathji is one of the two Jyotirlingas. Their establishmentMaharaj Kush, son of Shri Ramchandraji. It is said that while bathing one day Maharaj Kushs Valaya: (the tax ornament which was given by Mata Anusuiyaji to his mother Janaki) fell in Saryu. The snake girl was taken away. When he could not find it after searching a lot, then Kush ji was angryThe fire caused the water animals to become distressed. ThenNagraj himself came and brought the jewelery to Maharaja KushAnd asked him to penetrate his daughterAt the time Lord Shankar appeared and joined his devotee Nagaraja with Kush and asked him to penetrate the Nag Kanya. On the persuasion of Shankar ji, Maharaja Kush married the said Nag Kanya and as a memorial to this event, Srinageshwarji was established at that place. On the occasion of this marriage, all the Nagas of Nagaloka brought one Nagmani each and gave it to Maharaj Kush. He had found such a large number of men that where he was collected, there seemed to be a mountain of beads. Maharaja Kash drew a strong high wall around him. The people used to protect the place themselves. With the change of yag in time, the place became completely deserted. The wall that was built by Maharaja Kush fell down and trees and plants grew on that place, which took the form of a small thick hill and forest.
Pride of Lord Shri Nageshwar NathThe son of Lord Shri Ram was made by Mr Luv Kush.It is believed that the mind achieves the desired fruit, the devotee. In truth, the peace and happiness which is found in the conscience of God Bholenath and where and where... Jai Bhole Nath ..
