Located in busy Hotspot on the adyar beach road..this place is always crowded as its one of the top tier veg restaurants around.. Food is real yum but the waiting time is too much...even for take aways let alone getting a table. They have good varieties of sweets, chats, Indian and well as Chinese cuisines..I especially love their chole bature and coconut poli. They do have few special options like curd vada but they get sold out in the early hours. Good place and ambience for a family meal.

We are one of the A2b family always customer and we enjoy with family first we will search A2b if not available we will go for next options they maintain the quality cleanens and standard staff etc.,

Even if the restaurant is not crowded you can order only after 10minutes since all tge servers will be busy not knowing what they are doing.Apart from this as usual veg dining with less portion food which are over priced.Must try is their FILTER COFFEE.

Have visited this place a few times and have been happy with the service. We get good quality south indian tiffin items, sweets and vegetables. In snacks dont miss the kozhukattai vareities, both sweet and spicy kozhukattai are very tasty. Usually I visit this shop to buy adhirasam and thattai varieties as they are better than in other famous sweet shops.

This has become my top choice for breakfast these days. However lunch time it gets really tough as the waiting time to get the food once you make the order is long. Both breakfast and lunch are arguably the best in the class irrespective of the time of the day. Indo Chinese is also good. Deserts such as Basundi , rasamalai are perfect as I always expect.Talking about the taste, Sambhar is really good.(the litmus test for a good south Indian place). The food delivered when ordered is always fresh.Things to know before you order a take out- check if all items are present- Make sure all chutneys are present if you are specific about it .

Hi Google users,I had been to this branch of A2B on 31-Dec.As usual they do meet their standards in terms of quality food. We had Babycorn Pepper Fry and Paneer 65 for starters. The paneer 65 was tasty with lime squeezed on top of it.For mains we ordered Alacarte. Aloo Paratha was delicious with Veg Raita. The Schewan noodles was spicy but tasty to eat. We also had few chat items. The Bhel Puri was good but my favorite from A2B has always been their Dahi Puri and they didnt disappoint.We completed the meal with piping hot cups of filter coffee. Overall a decent place that lives up to the A2B standards but the service can be significantly improved. A place worth visiting.Regards,Deepak Holla.

Very good veg restaurant in Adyar. Had lunch/dinner here for n no of times and A2B satisfied me every time with the taste. Waiting time and service is more in peak timings.Max 6 people can be accommodated on a single table.

After 20 mins, there is no one to take order. I dont understand why its even open. That too in eve times. Not even peak hours

You come for a descent meal, not with contamination, you kinda get that, but the rich taste satisfaction and aroma of yesteryears is missing, the curd has become lassi.... I would expect more for what I pay... Having received more in the past. Looking forward to the golden years again....

Adyar Ananda Bhavan restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants in Adyar for South Indian foods. Authentic south Indian and some north Indian cuisine made cheerful. They have a variety of Indian sweets and savory items. I felt parking is a little bit difficult. Here Bhadam Milk taste is amazing.

Anyday a fine place to hurry for BF, LUNCH, DINNER. Spread of sweets and snacks is surely a reason to make it ine stop place for Food needs. Parking at times turns challenging, else good preference for anytime food

I asked for 3 Pongal and 5 Methuvadai as parcel for our home. When I gave the bill to the packer ( a lady) she started to pack the vadas from the showcase. I requested her to pack hot vadas. She told okay, but she started packing the same from the showcase. I was annoyed by the way she tries to cheat me. I got wild and started shouting at her by loosing my control, and the supervisor who came and consoled me, gave water and he packed the hot vadas and gave me. Such a arrogant and egoistic behaviour workers should not be hired by a great hotel like A2B. Thanks for asking my opinion. But for that incident I love A2B. 👍

These guys serve good food here. The ambience is very good. The staff is polite and the hospitality is very nice. They talk in your preferred language and make you fell comfortable. They also suggest food if you are confused which one to have;). They are very quick in serving also, doesnt take ages to serve unlike other popular restaurants. The hotel is situated just beside the main road near a junction and is easily noticeable. These people serve pure vegetarian food. The parcel service is also very good. The response time is awesome for any food item with respect to parcels.I suggest this restaurant any day.
