I am fuming!!! This location sold me a $50 used game that wouldnt even load. I was visibly upset when I had to drive all the way back out to gamestop to return this bogus game. The clerk Brandon, who had originally sold me the broken piece of junk didnt like my attitude and refused to sell me a new copy. I then asked to speak with the manager to which he gave me a phone number that nobody would answer after numerous attempts. The number was supposedly for a manager named Veronica, but who knows Brandon did not seem worried about getting in trouble at all. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Veronica is the store lead and she was so amazing! She was so nice to talk to, the store looked great, and she had so much knowledge about games and gamestop. She also informed us of new launches, and let us know about a great deal for the power up reward points. I highly recommend yall go here! Most of the gamestops I go to are nice, but this one is really great. 5/5 this store deserves a higher rating

I bought a controller from you in March and the rb trigger is already sticking. I have a warranty and you refuse to honor it even though it expires in a year. You sell faulty controllers that break I less than 5 monthe.

Great customer service! Helped me out over the phone multiple times with kindness and patience. They must have excellent management! Update 1/24 Went in person this time and was once again thrilled over the excellent customer service here! Recently purchased an Xbox from A family friend for us to have for guests during the holidays. I Needed to pick up a new controller and my knowledge about the new game consoles and compatible controllers is next to non-existent so I thought gamestop would be the place to go, video games are their specialty after all. When I asked the guys at the desk for help they were condescending and rude every question I asked was answered with disdain and mockery for my lack of knowledge. Way to go gamestop making your customer feel like an idiot for asking questions. Needless to say I wont be returning again.

This GameStop is like a Diamond in the rough. The staff is polite & will go out of their way to help you out. Seems each employee has their own expertise... Nintendo, PC gaming/building, FPS/RPGs and so on. Great Staff, Great GameStop!

Long story short we had an absolutely nightmarish experience at the Gamestop in Kyle. We contacted corporate and ended up going to the slaughter location. The manager, Jeremy, went so far above for us as customers it absolutely blew me away. He had research done for us on the game console we were wanting. He had a game plan set up to take care of us upon our arrival it was just awesome. Some five star customer service locations really couldnt even match how great Jeremy was. We ended up purchasing more things, not because he tried to sale or forced the politeness, but because he genuinely cared about making sure we got what we wanted and nothing more. To Jeremy thank you for everything! Me and my family cannot Express our appreciation enough!

Went in today to find a pretty impossible system to track at the moment and was treated with amazing service. Ruben; the store manager, and Jesse helped me out and were very kind and even chatted with me a bit. 5 stars for this location as a lot of game stops Ive been dealing with have really rude employees. I will be returning to this location for my future gaming needs. :D

Store is small with a terrible selection and crowded layout. Employees were rude and unhelpful. On a very busy day with many customers, 1/2 the employees I saw were chit chatting with other employees. Ended up walking out without purchasing my intended purchase due to employee rudeness. I will never set foot in this game stop again. Go to the GameStop in Kyle. Bigger store, better selection of games, better employees.

Went to a midnight release when Blops 2 came out. It was a pretty good experience. They gave out chips and drinks. This store is nice and staff is good but the return policy sucks. Buy the items on Amazon if you arent sure about them.

I bought this game card from this lady with red hair about a month ago and right when I got home I attempted to redeem the card but it said the card was invalid... I try to call up this place and the same lady answered and I can tell because I remember her voice, even to this day because she left me on hold for over 30 minutes that day and I feel like she pranked me super hard. I hold a grudge to this very day and I probably will never come here again.

I have to go to a store further from home just because this one sucks so much. They dont answer the phone, ever. Not one time have I ever been able to speak to anyone to avoid making a trip. They dont greet you when you come in.. and they talked to me like I was stupid when I asked questions. The one on Ben White is much better.

I tried to return a case for my Nintendo switch I had bought just the previous day before, they would not let me return it for anything but store credit.. I even had the credit card I used to buy it. Its super dumb and super shady. Buyer beware

Watch out with these people they will take your money. Wanted to pre order call of duty 4 and I was not aware it expired sep 17; I came sep 29 and paid for the pre order and for some odd reason my codes weren’t working. They provided me with diff codes I give them that but with them working at such a pace I feel they should have known that the passes were no good anymore. I had to contact aviation for the issue that’s when I found out it was expired.

This game stop was amazing, the costume service was amazing as well. the manager named Ruben knows his way around games and game knowledge. every time that i have been there, Ruben is always there to aid costumes. so if you trying to decide whether which gamestop you may want to go to, then this gamestop is made for the person that loves great costume service.

This is absolutely THE WORST GameStop store I have ever delt with. My last experience, I took a couple of days off work and had recently just purchased a new 4k TV. I wanted to upgrade my PS4 original to a PS4 pro. I have done 100s of trades at GameStop store over the last 10 years and have always had an easy experience. Not that day! I walked in about 15 minutes after they opened on a Thursday. The only person in the store was a tall, thin, black with a big afro. He completely ignored me when I came in, Im guessing because he saw I had a trade in my hand. When I finally asked for assistance, he complained that he was the only one there. I asked nicely that he complete my trade and that I came in early during the week, cause I know evening and weekend are busy. He huffed, started testing my hardware and when he started to ring up my PS4 trade as a 500Gb, I advised he was wrong, it was a 1TB model. He called me a liar to my face. After debating it he actually TOOK IT OUT PF THE CHASSIS and checked the HD!!!! Yes its a 1tb but he refused to aknowledge that the unit was legit. He then said my controller was broken and didnt rumble. I asked for a manager and he said he was off that day, I said fine just give me back my system and Im leaving. Ive been called a liar, you have been nothing but difficult, Im done. As he was gathering my stuff, he mumbled stupid cracker under his breath. I said excuse me???? He then told me to leave the store! I called GS corporate and got an apology, but they also advised I go to a different store. I went to the store on Brodie, everything was perfect! She aknowledge my system was a 1tb, my controller worked perfectly fine! And she even gavee a courtesy discount because of the issues at the other store. I can only hope they fired that guy at the first store, I wont be back either way.....

This is a good location, super close to where I am located. I go to this location only for Funko pops. Their selection is ok, not the best like pretty much all the other Austin Locations. Most of the time if you are looking for a certain pop hopefully they will have more then needed because if the employees dont get it first you will be S.O.L. If it was my choice I would switch they location for another with a better selection of Funko.

I absolutely despise GameStop. As a former, high level employee, who chose not to work for the company anymore, I dont particularly like setting foot in any location. But alas, there are some things that you can only acquire at Gamestop (exclusives and the like). But I will only ever visit this location because of 1 reason. REUBEN!!! He is by far the most polite and knowledgeable employee I have ever come across at a GS, that is including anyone who used to work for me or above me as well. I dont agree with certain standards that they have set at their warehouses involving working environments, but as someone with a love for video games for over 25 years, there arent many options for certain things outside of GS. Thank you Reuben! You are an amazing dedicated employee, even if it is working for one of the most immoral companies in the world!

Man everytime i walk into this location im always greeted and the staff is great. They always let me know what deals they are running. I dont mind the waiting time when its packed. Patience is a virtue

I live across the street amd hate going to this location. The staff will never greet you when you walk in. They are the most unqualified people to be doing this minimum wage job. I ask them yesterday if i can pre order xbox one x and they do not even answer i ask another employee and they tell me they have no idea and do not even attempt to get an answer and on top of all of this i had called ahead to get my son a headset set aside and they said that they had it waiting for me and i ask for that this guy points at a locked device behimd me and says its rite there. Well thats great but i dont have a key can you unlock it and get it for me please as two associates with kets walk by amd do nothing finally mr way to good to work at gamestop unlocks and gets it for me. My wife hates it when i come here because these people are the worst kind to be in a service industry and yet they still some how have a job.ySave your money go to best buy even if it cost more it is worth the extra money not to have to deal with these people.

This is the best Gamestop I have ever been to. They have a great selection of used games for a great discount. When u purchase a used game there, they give u 7 days to try it out. If you dont like the game or its to hard/ complicated you can return it (within the 7 days). So, this is a true life saver. I can return the game & get my money back or I can exchange it for another used game and try that one out for another 7 days. It continues until you find what you like! Awesome right! What a Great Policy. You cant go wrong! Another great thing about this particular Game Stop is Ruben, the manager, he is extremely polite and knows everything about games. When i was looking to buy my daughter a game console I called him up and asked him 101 questions. He was so helpful. He didnt know me personally but I had been in his store a couple of times to purchase 3D-DS games. I remembered he was a game genius and decided to call his store to ask him about the systems and storage capacities. He went above and beyond to help me. I wasnt even buying the gaming system from his store. I just needed his expert advice. I was SO impressed with how he helped me, I ended up going to him to buy the gaming system, after all. Its because of him our family does all our gaming purchases there. I ALWAYS refer everyone to this Game Stop and no other. The staff is ALL wonderful, curtious, HELPFUL and most of all, knowledgable. NO ONE in that store is lazy or rude! Ruben runs an awesome store...
