Very clean and nice staff

The Folde was a life saver for me when my car broke down. I like in an older apartment building with no on site laundry or hookups. The nearest laundromat is a couple miles away. I discovered The Folde & decided to give them a try, as I needed laundry done.The service is great. My clothes come back much cleaner & nicer than taking them to the laundromat. They are neatly folded & organised into bags with other similar pieces. Always smell clean (not scented). They have the option to use free & clear detergent, which I really appreciate. And the price is reasonable for the service they provide.Even after my cat was fixed, I’ve continued to use the service as it’s so convenient & my clothes come back so nice. Their drivers are always very nice & prompt & have been very helpful & patient when I’ve had extra laundry & needed to ask for an additional bag & have them wait while I fill it.100% would recommend!

I have used The Folde in Austin, Texas for a short time, but I can say they make you feel like you’ve been a personal client for years. They are prompt, courteous, and deliver quality performance every time I’ve needed them. Their day out reminders for valet laundry service are helpful and thoughtful. The 24 hour turn around from pickup to delivery is excellent. My clothes are always pressed, packaged, folded, sorted, and fresh. The Folde of Austin is not a valet laundry service; it’s a personal concierge. I highly recommend them.

These guys are great. Super professional and friendly, always on time, and very responsive when I had a minor complaint about a charge. (They ended up crediting me way more than I asked for.) Highly recommend.

A life saver service! Dropping off and picking up cloths to and from dry cleaners is one of those time consuming things that I dread doing! This company really solves this problem in the best possible way! They are excellent at what they do and keep you posted on all that is involved in this task, from when the driver is on their way to pick up your cloths, to when your cloths were picked up (with a picture showing it when it is picked up from behind your door), to when the cloths have been cleaned, to when the driver is on their way to drop it off, to having delivered it! I couldnt be happier with this service and will obviously use them again and again and recommend them to absolutely everyone!

I got back from a trip the weekend after the major ice storm hit Austin. The trip was supposed to be 1 week but turned into 2 due to weather. Upon return I wanted to have ALL my clothes cleaned, and due to the stress of the trip I decided to use The Folde to ease my wifes job of getting things back in shape.When I booked my service I chose NEXT DAY return, because I was sending quite literally all of my clothes, save 1, maybe 2 days worth of clothes. Not ONCE in my process of booking (or choosing NEXT DAY RETURN) did I get any kind of indication that things werent running as expected. Long story short, The Folde had my clothes for AN ENTIRE WEEK and didnt answer phone calls or reply to emails in regards to where or why my clothes were being held hostage. I got a text every day telling me that my clothes would be ready the next day and were sorry for the delay but not actual human interaction.When they finally returned my clothes I didnt even get a discount on the bill, or a were sorry for the delay communication or anything. The clothes were perfectly cleaned and folded, but my god, the communication needs SERIOUS help. I get that /most/ people were affected and/or lost water/power during the storm, but thats the whole reason I used this service! I ignorantly assumed that since they hadnt posted a were experiencing delays message or something on the app or during the booking process that they were not affected and running business as usual. Maybe my experience WAS business as usual, and if thats the case may god have mercy on their souls. I will not use them again.

Ive never used a laundry service before but Im too busy to catch up and dont have the facilities at home. These guys are great. Folded clothes back, matched up socks, they went far beyond what I expected, even hanging up my work shirts. Its great. I wish they serviced my area I love luckily my job is in service area so it works out very well. I left my car with the clothes, they picked it up and did their thing, and they dropped the clothes back off in my car and I came home with clean clothes all separated, folded, smelling good, and way less stress.

Love this service. I hate doing laundry but not only that, the service it amazing. My clothes have never looked so neat and clean. I would use them more often but I am single soul who owns too many clothes so I can go 3 weeks without doing laundry lol

This was by far one of the best laundry services I’ve used in my life, very hassle free. I moved to Austin from Dallas and in the crazy ness of moving I needed to wash all my laundry, LIKE MY ENTIRE CLOSET! They gladly picked up my laundry and was able to work with my crazy apartment complex. Everything was washed so nice they even got a stain out of a shirt I’ve been trying to get out for months. What made it even better was the folding was so great that I was able to just take it out of the bag and put it in my dresser. I was a bit worried about some of my items because they came back on hangers so I thought it was going to be an extra fee I didn’t agree to but they informed, very promptly I might add, that they do that as a free service!!! Yes free!! 10 out of 10

I only started using The Folde recently but it’s been nothing but spectacular! They’re quick and efficient with the pick ups and drop offs and the laundry is always beautifully folded and packed! I’ll definitely be suggesting this service to all my friends!

Im not happy that I was billed for the XL bag rate for one pair of pants, 3 pair of underware and 6 pair of ankle socks, all packaged up in a small sized plastic bag, with two short sleeve shirts on hangers.If this is the rate for this small amount of clothes, please discontinue my account.

Absolutely a life saver over quarantine. My clothes were always folded perfectly and it saved me from having to go to a laundry mat full of people when Im at risk. Truly appreciate the kindness of the delivery drivers and support staff as well. Very thankful and wish I could take them with me when I move!

BEST decision I ever made was using this service. All I did was leave my dirty clothes/sheets/towels in disposable bags on my porch, and the next day they were returned perfectly folded and organized in neat little vaccuum sealed bags. 10/10 experience

So this company is beyond amazing I scheduled the service on Saturday night to be picked up to be returned Tuesday. They were on time both for pick up and delivery ! They did a great job everything was nicely folded and cleaned w the detergent I selected online. The service was friendly and awesome would recommend for if you are looking for laundry service

I can only say how good the service was for me. I can’t get down the steps to our laundry room any more. The driver was awesome. He explained everything and left me a smaller bag. The delivery was fine. It was left at my door as requested. Everyone at the office was very nice on the phone. I really needed help and that’s what they gave.

I made a promise to myself to find a laundry wash and fold delivery service after starting a new job to free up time in my busy schedule and The Folde has made that promise a reality! They are an EXTREMELY convenient service, Ive made pick up requests just 24 hours beforehand and they still are able to pick up my laundry and return it the next day if I make the request.I love all the different options they give for how you want your clothes washed (wash and fold or dry cleaning, different detergents, hang dry, bleaching whites, hanging all t shirts or pants, notes for specific folding instructions, etc.) I also love how sizeable the flat rate laundry bag they provide to you is! Ive stuffed an entire load of laundry with towels and sheets and still had room for a little more.I cant recommend the fold enough, they are amazing and I will continue to use them in the foreseeable future!

Our laundry room is being renovated at the moment. Our washer/dryer were going to be placed back soon, but we had run out of towels and I’m pregnant and only have a few clothes that fit me right now, so we decided to pay to get our laundry done next day. I want to emphasize that the only reason we decided to pay an exorbitant amount of money for laundry is so we could get it next day. I received an email with my receipt saying I should expect my laundry the next day. Next day comes around and I get a text that they will be delivering my laundry tomorrow. I reach out to customer support via chat and heard nothing despite it being during their support hours and a “we’re online and will respond immediately” text above the chat. I then reach out via phone and email. It’s been two and a half days and I’ve still heard nothing. Luckily we received our laundry yesterday (day after it was supposed to get here) but have yet to hear from a support team in any way.Update: The Folde team reached out to me and took care of the situation in a satisfactory manner. Ive added back two stars for the way it was handled.

I am so happy to have found the Folde! I use them about twice a month when I get behind on laundry. The clothes are beautifully laundered, folded and organized. Towels and sheets are bleached to my liking. Always on time and very fair pricing. 10 stars! Highly recommend!

Update 1/25/21: Customer service did re-treat the damaged items. This did not fix the issue so they have sent a check for reimbursement. While I wish that there were no issues in the first place, I am very impressed with the customer service and commitment to making this right. I would consider using the service again for non delicate items.I shouldnt have trusted them with anything nicer than a T-shirt. Our washer broke this week and while we were waiting to get it repaired, I decided to try this service for the first time.I sent very specific instructions for a certain portion of the clothes, even separating them out with both digital and handwritten notes. These were clearly not followed and I now hand multiple ruined sweaters that were clearly not washed according to the labels on the items and put in the dryer. A $100+ barefoot dreams sweater is completely ruined as if has shrunk and is now very rough.If you cannot correctly wash delicate items, dont assure people that you can. I have reached out about a refund for the extra charges.

Friendly, helpful driver and on-time delivery. Clothes were clean and folded nicely. The only worrying thing was that I also received a bag of folded towels that were not mine, even though it had my name on a separate pink bag. I was able to catch the driver to return to them.If I can receive someone else’s clothes it stands to reason my clothes could go to someone else one day. If that happens I might have to look elsewhere. But I really like the text notifications and app--I tried another laundry service once and had little to no idea what was going on half the time.But finding strange clothes in my delivery was weird and makes me reluctant to send out any important clothes in future--but those need cleaning too! Hopefully it was just a one-off error.

I’m somebody who loves clean living spaces but I also get very overwhelmed by my busy schedule and keeping up with household things can be very stressful. I ordered the wash & fold pick up and delivery because I was over 2 weeks behind on laundry and the service was awesome!They did everything within the time windows they provided, the laundry was sorted and folded nicely and the pick up driver was really kind!

I hate doing my own laundry. Having my laundry picked up every week, washed and folded, and then dropped off at my house a few days later is a convenience I didn’t realize I needed in my life until The Folde provided it. It’s definitely a service I would recommend to those who can swing it and who hate doing laundry as much as I do.

The Folde here in Austin is by far the best laundry service Ive ever dealt with. The employees are friendly and so helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. They adjusted my soap preferences to make sure I received the Gain smell in my laundry that I love. They pick up and deliver always promptly and willing to assist anyway they can. The Folde delivered my laundry this morning! After spending 4 days in Austin without water and electricity, I was sad and dirty. Id forgotten I dropped off laundry prior to meeting Winter Storm Uri. Have used the Folde several times and have been very satisfied with their service. Clothes are washed and neatly folded and pick-up and delivery are fast and on time. When I left this review I thought they had misplaced the laundry bags I’d left with them but thanks to their security cameras and customer service, I was able to find them again in an earlier delivery. Next day delivery is clutch! Also, I was pleasantly surprised when all my nice collared shirts came back hung and free of wrinkles.

Not sure what is going on with customer service at this business. I have now called and left a message x 2 sent a text and email via their app, and tried to connect via chat. They have not responded. The reason I tried to connect is they over charged me for a x large bag despite the fact that it was a standard bag. Delivery folks were awesome, not sure why no follow-up from the management.Updated: 12.14.2020 I received a follow-up from the Molly G. via two different channels. Despite initial frustration, I was appreciative that someone finally did resolve my concern. Incredible laundry service. We run a short term rental and had the laundry picked up, washed and folded and delivered back in 2 days for an an exceptionally reasonable price. Additionally, the pick-up and drop-off was to the garage via a code so no need to be present, the laundry was done in cold water and dried on medium heat - which was needed as we have all 100% cotton linens. All the laundry came back sorted in individually wrapped packages. Wow! Such a time and cost saving service.

I have been using The Folde for my AirBnB linens and Ive had three issues with them being returned seemingly unwashed, or washed without detergent. Ive informed them of the issues and was credited once but subsequent emails regarding the same issues have either gone unanswered or barely received an apology. The final straw is that they missed an important delivery date forcing me to scramble to wash linens in time for a booking. I cant use a service that is unreliable.

As a massage therapist, The Folde has changed my life! While working two jobs and living in an apartment without laundry services on-site, I often had minimal time to do my own errands, so using The Folde was a lifesaver. My clothes were treated better than I could ever. I was never home when my clothes were returned, but the photo of the clothes at my door was always helpful and most excellent. Once the driver sent a photo of my delivery at the wrong door, and customer service was super quick to respond and fix the situation. Highly recommend.

The snowpocalypse hit us hard. Pretending I had it together enough to stay on top of regular laundry AND all the towels and blankets used to mop up messes and stay warm was a ludicrous idea. The Folde definitely pulled off a rescue!

The Folde is a great company. They are a great timesaver for me, I love that you know up front what it is going to cost rather than having to wonder exactly how much it will weigh, etc. They pick things up and bring them back without me having to actually be there if I am at work or out. I have loved working with them. I have to move out of state soon, and I dread having to go back to doing my own laundry.

Great idea and service super reliable and quick

This service is so awesome I might just cry! With a house with little ones we were doing 1 load of laundry on the weekdays, and 4+ on the weekends. Then I found this service via Google, we send out towels and linens and it cuts down the laundry to just 2 loads per weekend. It is unbelievably easy, the drivers are super nice, and the laundry was done perfectly (sorted, folded, etc).

I’ll admit, I’m lazy about laundry. I’m particularly lazy about ironing. It’s a freeing feeling to send your dirty clothes out and receive them back: clean, pressed, and folded! It also saves in dry cleaning, as I used to send our machine-washable work clothes to the cleaners, and we no longer need to do that. Button ups and slacks come back clean, pressed, and on hangers. There was a minor issue, and the company caught it before it came to me, took accountability, communicated the entire way through, and met a resolution! Their customer service is friendly and professional! Highly recommend!

Ive been using The Folde for years and would recommend them to any and all who want even just a little bit of help getting laundry done. Their website and app makes it easy to order, the preferences available always fit my needs regardless of the season, and the drivers and customer support team have always been friendly. Plus, they occasionally send out coupons to use and make the order cheaper. Would recommend!

Last driver didnt have my phone#, so had to have front desk call me? What if he was making rounds. Hed have to wait for front desk to return 10 later.

Been using their wash & fold service for a few months now and it’s saved me a ton of time. I pay a little extra for next day service and they’ve always been on time for pickup and drop off. Most items come folded in three separate bags for socks&undies, shirts, and pants, making it super easy to load into drawers.My only annoyance is the white hangers my button down shirts come back on and that’s more of personally OCD because they don’t match my normal hangers.

I love the folde!!! A friend initially discovered them for me prior to/during recovery from a surgery 2 years ago. Id read other reviews of the excellent folding skills and thought, thats silly. But when I received my first completed order, I was BEYOND impressed! ALL of my clean laundry was folded SO neatly and perfectly. They are friendly, kind folx and responsive! Easy to set up pick-up/delivery online!

I have used The Folde a few times and really like how efficient it is. You can basically customize everything and the clothes all come back sorted neatly. It is great if you just dont have time to do laundry or have easy access to a laundry room. They also offer some discounts from time to time, so it is nice to take advantage of those. Definitely recommend to folks who want to ease their laundry pains.

This service has saved our butts! We recently moved into a new house and apparently it’s impossible to get a washer and dryer delivered right now so I thought I would give the service a try, it definitely exceeded my expectations!! Everything was folded beautifully, smelled amazing, and was separated by family member!I plan on using this even after we finally get a washer and dryer, I mean who really wants to do laundry anyway?

Im sure the customer service is nice but I have personally seen machines be not only over loaded, not separated, nor is there is there any care to whether its washed with a warm or cold cycle. Custom service can only go so far

I have receipts of my clothes being paid for. And not only does it not say anywhere in the website that they can keep clothes, they refuse to give my clothes back until there system says its paid. They have kept my clothes for over three days and they are the only clothes I have at the moment. Ive spoken to the manager and he says the same thing. I will never use this business again

Really NO STARS !!! Order never picked up or dropped like the emails Im receiving from this company!!! Then the soaps I ask for and bleach I throw a buck extra for its usage !!! Never has been used never smells like bleach nor ANY SCENTED TETERGENT!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

This was the first time I used The Folde and I was extremely pleased with the service and will continue to use them. Also I will recommend them to my other friends. They pickup, washed, dried ( hung dried tops), folded clothes and deliver the clothes. Picked Thursday returned clothes today.

I got lad off on 3/18 due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. I live in an apartment without a washer/dryer. My complex has highly suggested residents avoid using common areas including the laundry room. The public laundromat closest to me is closed. I was trying to figure out what I was going to do and found The Folde. The entire process was so easy, the customer service was amazing, my clothes are so clean and now my laundry concerns are over. We produce a LOT of dirty laundry cleaning cars and it got to the point where we couldn’t do it in house anymore. After a few trips to the local laundromat, we found out about The Folde! They come weekly to pick up dirty towels and drop them off a couple days later clean and folded! This has saved us so many hours doing laundry and the hassle of transporting etc. Thanks Folde!

The Folde is by far my favorite subscription I have ever indulged in! I used them pre-covid because I lived in a place without washer/dryer connections and the idea of spending my day off at laundromat sounded like a nightmare. I continue to use their services because I sincerely loathe doing laundry and they have completely spoiled me over the years. They’re always on time, respond quickly, are always friendly, and they care for my clothes better than I do! It’s like a mini Christmas every time I unwrap my perfectly folded laundry and only have to put it away. Also, Mollie is a freakin saint and always goes out of her way to reach out to any inquiries I’ve ever had with warmth and kindness! I’m 100% addicted to The Folde!

We just started using the folde after switching from a far less reliable laundry delivery service. The set up was super simple. The app is easy to use. The pick-up and drop-off were right on time with text and app notifications. Our cloths were sorted when we got them, so it made it easy to put away in our closet, and the dress shirts arrived on hangers, even the ones that were not pressed and dry cleaned. The best part is, the customer services is responsive and very helpful!

Letting The Folde take care of my laundry has been the biggest game changer. All I have to do is schedule a pick-up and off my laundry goes! Twenty-four hours later, it came back fresh and folded. My life has been changed by this company. I am blown away by the speed, quality, and care of the service and the kindness and amazing attitudes of every person I have interacted with.The turnaround time was unreal. The clothes were folded PERFECTLY. They even hung and steamed delicate items. Guys, they folded my underwear.I will say, my overall rating is closer to a 4.8. The ONE negative I have is that their bag sizes and average loads that fit in them is a little off. I would say that the large bag fits, realistically, 3-4 loads, instead of the 5+ advertised. Unless I have just been doing extremely large loads my entire life...Regardless, I will continue to use the service and have recommended it to several people already. The pricing is incredibly reasonable, especially considering the service I experienced. The dry cleaning services are also BEYOND reasonable, as theyre in line with your average drop off service except for the fact that they BRING IT TO YOUUUUU which just makes this place more amazing.10/10 would laundry again. Used to be a really great service. They would pick up in the morning and had it back in the evening. Sure, it had some problems (grease spots often didnt come out), but by and large, their service was good and helped with the laundry. Unfortunately, they changed to (per their website) minimum 48 hour turnaround. This makes them far less useful. Other similar services offer 24 hours, but the same day option was really good. Wish they would offer it again (at a premium, perhaps?)

This service is incredible. It has relieved so much stress from my life. I tried other laundry services but none come close to how great The Folde is. They not only do a fantastic job with the clothes, they also do their best to sort the clothes by person and items so it makes putting them all away for each of my family members a breeze!

They did everything above and beyond. The more I see each cloth retunedr from them, the more happier I am. Definitely felt costlier at the beginning, but them steaming & giving shirts on hangers without me asking is a good one. I couldnt have folded my clothes better than they did. Hats off. Thanks
