On our way to buy a 300 lb.weight set at our local big box sporting goods store and and decided we needed to fuel up first. Wandered down the mall to the brass tap. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Over 50 taps of beer! Not super crowded on a Friday night. Pretzel and cheese appetizer was delicious. Wife had the cheese steak sandwich and I had the shrimp basket both excellent. Also has a full bar for the cocktail drinkers. Will be back.

This place was great, car wouldnt start in the domain after a day of shopping so I decided to stop in for a drink since I wasnt driving home. The bartender Sam was excellent so was the other one (I think his name was Bobby). Cant sing their praises enough super friendly always making sure I was satisfied and chit chatting to help alleviate the boredom of waiting on a tow truck. I will be back just for the customer service!

Popped in recently to wet my whistle and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Lets start with their HUUUUGE beer selection. They have everything from Pilsners to Stouts and smothered in IPAs. They have a large spacious interior with plenty of tvs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a large patio area. I will definitely be back. Dont forget to tip 😉

Prices are good, and drinks are OK. This is I think supposed to be a multipurpose space. The TVs are plentiful, but it was weird to not have ESPN+ (which is where MLS and other secondary sports are). I might try this place again and stay for hours to see if thats the better way to enjoy the Brass Tap.

You can never go wrong with anything on the food menu and there is so many beer option on tap. If you want to find rare beers in a bottle they have those to purchase or take home, but you can also drink and dine.The staff (especially Chrystan, Liz, and Holiday) is friendly and welcoming to the bar & restaurant. Management is great; they make sure all your needs are met while at the bar or restaurant.The bathrooms are clean but some of the stalls don’t completely lock. Although, it is rare to be in there with more than one other person on a good day.There is also a back room/event hall where they host comedy shows, live music, events, etc.And, there is patio seating should you opt to sit outdoors during this COVID era.Should you be debating what to do during the evening at night they have been hosting different events. Ask a bartender or establishment representative for more details.We’re here every week and wouldn’t have it other way.

Had the All American Pub single patty, which probably could have had two slices of bacon instead of just one slice, but it was good overall. Brioche was a nice touch. The thing that was so good I couldn’t handle it: the tater tots I substituted for the default crinkle cut fries. The tots were amazing. Crispy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. Next time I go I may just get an order (or two) of the tots… and steal one off my friend’s plate. The waiter came by a few times during the meal, and he was actually a nice guy.

Bartender took care of us!!!!. I wanted the Texas pub feel and he delivered with a Flight . He went as far to right them down on a piece of paper . True customer service !!!!!!

3 star food, 4 star beer, and 5 star prices. If you want the best food youll find it elsewhere in the domain. If you want quality beer this is a good option. If you want the best prices this is your place.

This brewer bar in the Domain Northside is very welcoming the atmosphere is nice and the music is great. The menu offers a ton of different beverage and food item options to choose from. The bartenders and servers are nice and fast. I will definitely be returning!

I cant say enough great things about this place!This is a fun place to go whether youre by yourself or with a group of 10. The bartenders and servers are very efficient, and theyre all very nice and down to earth!The drinks are amazing, 85 beers on tap to choose from (most of them craft beer), great food, and reasonable prices!The atmosphere is great too, and they have live bands multiple nights of the week, as well as karaoke on Wednesdays.Definitely try the Korean BBQ flat bread or the burger and fries, you cant go wrong!

Normally nice and my fav place except lately their has been this annoying guy who knows all the bartenders. Hes loud and obnoxious. He might work there, not sure but he knows everyone and makes sure everyone knows about his personal business.

I cant get enough of Brass Tap at the Domain. Lots of excellent beers on tap. Great food. Chrystan rocks and knows beer like you wish you did. Liz is a great server, and these two rock stars apparently work all the time, so you cant go wrong.

This has been one of my favorite places to grab a drink for a few years. However, recently I and some friends spent an evening here and ordered drinks. I noticed later when squaring up with my friends that we had food on our bill despite only ordering drinks.Now mistakes happen, but when I spoke to the manager he asked several questions in a tone that insinuated that I either forgot or was lying about not ordering the items and asked that in the future I make more of an effort to catch mistakes before leaving. This was completely unnecessary. Obviously I look at my bill and I stated clearly that I had just missed this. For the record, there was a long line when I paid so I quickly scanned the bill as I was ready to leave but didn’t notice it at the time.Perhaps “WE will try our best to avoid overcharging you in the future” would have been a better response.

Weve gone here twice now and all we can say is if you want service youre best seating yourself inside. The first time we were lucky to see our waiter once every 20 minutes. The beer list is extensive which is the sole reason Id rate this place higher than a 1. The fish fry was pretty cruddy, the batter just fell off the fish. The second time we came we sat on the patio for half an hour with countless wait staff walking past us and ignoring us. Until finally we just decided to stand up and walk away while a couple that just sat down at the table next to us got waited on. Please hire more waitstaff or hire some people that actually pay attention to customers.

The spot lives up to its name! One of the best beer lists for tap and bottle that Ive ever seen. The bottle prices are a bit high, but mostly just on the ones from several states away. Its a good atmosphere with friendly staff and 21+ service hours as well. The food items, sub par. If youre hanging out at the domain, there are several better places for food, but none better for 🍺

It’s okay, drinks are good and wings were good, just super annoyed at the game night trivia guy with the wig who was screaming loudly while I tried to enjoy the NBA finals ugh…now I see why this place has so many noise complaints.

Birch & Brass took our wedding reception to the next level. I am all about the little details and Birch & Brass delivered the most beautiful little details ever. We got the sweetest goblets for the head table and beautiful flatware for our guests along with a beautiful geometric vase. I couldn’t be happier!

I love this place more every time I come here. They always have new beers on tap. The servers all know their beer! And the pub burger, with the jalapeño cream cheese with cowboy sauce, is THE BEST EVER!!! Also, they have great deals daily. I have to remember to come on Mondays, when they have $3 draft beers.

Very good craft beer. Not the place for sports necessarily. But a very fun place for arcade or trivia games. If you try every beer on tap there be careful cause you might be an alcoholic.

Im here in this moment. I cant say anything negative. The bar man and bar woman are very nice. The place is great. And de prices are very down to earth! This is my to go place in the Domain.

I first went here with my wife back in Nov and we both liked it and I had the brisket gill cheese and the unique tator tots that are round and fried it was really good! Tonight I was solo and I had the philly cheese steak not bad with the same fried tator tots my waitress was really nice her name was April she took her time with me and really went over the menu and she talked me into getting their house margarita which was surprisingly really good since this is a beer place (well they have mostly beer but serve liquor too) but the margarita was really good and not weak and had some hit to it a little bit lol I will be looking fwd to my third visit!!

Pricey, but great selection of brews and hearty bar bites. Make it a better deal by going during a special - I went for a Bourbon County beer special (three barrel-aged varieties) and picked up free glassware. No issues with the service, and friendly fellow patrons.

Great wines and nice food. He sauce of the clams dish I got was watery, not thick enough to be called a proper sauce. Yes, I’m a chef so I have high standards. But the pace was clean, good service and it smelled really good and fresh.

Not bad. A good selection of local beers and non-local beers. A great bottle selection. Kind of high prices if its not happy hour. Especially when there are there are six or so of the best breweries in Austin down the street. Five Eight, son!

Service is rather hit or miss on their attentiveness, the food and drinks are pretty good. We usually go for trivia night. The guy that usually does the trivia is awesome, though there have been some hiccups with that as well. I heard talk of them firing the trivia company, but honestly, when theyre on point its the only reason I go here. You might want to consider giving them another chance.

A huge selection of great beers and good bar food BUT there was only one bartender for the entire place for a solid hour. When a dude showed up to help her he did nothing for 30 minutes till the manager showed up. My glass had gone empty for 30 minutes at that point. The manager is the one that got me another drink and took my food order. Get that girl some real help.

This was my first visit to The Brass Tap in Austin. They have an excellent selection of craft beers with a lot of variety. I dropped in around 2 PM on a weekday and the place was almost empty... so I got really fast service. The interior is large with a clean modern look. Ill come back again and try their food menu.

Ive been going to Karaoke night on Wednesdays. DJ Dilly Dilly was a great hire by Brass Tap, and his apprentice Everett does a great job making sure everyone is having a good time. I also like the bartender in the Tap Room. The crowd gets very rowdy, especially towards closing time, but is also very friendly.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is pretty good too for a bar. I have yet to order something I didn’t like, but especially love the fish and chips.This place is for people who enjoy great beer and want to discover new craft beer to enjoy. I only drink stout and they have a lot of options. I love that they use corresponding glasses for each type of beer they have on tap. Really adds to the experience.I feel its a little pricey even for a place that is selling craft beers, but overall very positive experiences and I highly recommend trying this bar out!

Fun place! Karaoke wasnt terrible, open enough to where you could still chit chat. The bartender Mikey is hilarious and good at what he does.

The Brass Tap is a solid bar with great food and a very good beer selection. For the IPA fans the place is probably not going to live up to expectations, however Stout enthusiasts and sour beer fans alike will find themselves in one of the best places in town.Ambience is great, comfortable bar to sit alone and the overall look of the place is good, cozy and modern. All the looks of a chained business, forget the unique feel of gastro pubs.Did I mention how good the food is here?!Check it out at The Domain, if you want to take a break from the all the shopping.

This is one of my favorite spots in Austin. They have a large selection of beers on tap, tallboys, and bottled beers. The homemade loaded tater tots are awesome. Really enjoy the staff as well, always pleasant.

I have visited here a number of times. However it has changed to look more... Game-roomish Lots of video games a tvs....but the beer was very good. There is outdoor seating and the weather was great for outdoors tonight!

Really enjoyed the wide selection of beers here. They even have some great tasting mead. I sat out on the patio with my friends and didnt realize it was 2 until I went to use the restroom and was locked out. I hadnt closed my tab yet and they told me they automatically do it, which was not cool for me because I needed to close out with cash. I told the guy guarding the door and he estimated my total. Ended up giving him cash and wasnt charged on my card. So that made me happy but they really need to do better at announcing last call.

A cool environment to grab a few drinks. They have a variety of options for any beer enthusiasts. The bar is always a easy way to just grab an appetizer and a few drinks.

Attended a work event here and was really impressed. The atmosphere is great and the food was outstanding. If Im ever planning a work event this will be near the top of my list.

Lots of beer and liquor, good food, great bartenders. I like coming here during the day and grabbing a bite to eat and something to drink and getting a little bit of work done. The bartenders just check on ya every now and then and arent constantly hounding you so its a great place to get away and get some work done.

The food at Brass Tap is just terrible and service is badly needing attention. I know that this is a bar and food is not the main reason to go but if you are going to serve food, at least serve something edible. Jack and Gingers has food and great selection of drinks and is capable of serving it with great service. I cant remember ever going to Brass Tap and feeling like the servers took care of me. I am not needy but the bare minimum attention would be nice. Checking in every 30 mins is fine with me however when you go to Brass Tap it is more like once ever hour. With the competition growing at the Domain, service like this is not going to keep this place open.
