Centro Apartments are located at 10901 East Garden Drive. Aurora, Colorado 80012.This apartment community has been through a lot of ups and downs… mostly down in the past 7 years. I can confidently say that they are on a huge up at this time. Meagan the manager is always there to help if need be, and Dina is also helping make this team a winning combination. Aaron and his maintenance team is also a great addition to this location. This site has a fitness room that is open 24 hrs a day. And a community pool that is open 4-5 months of the year. This location also has a community clubhouse that can be reserved for get togethers. I would recommend this location if you are looking for a newer and cleaner property.Shannon Carpenter.

I have enjoyed staying here at Centro and couldn’t be more thankful for the Manager, Megan, she is wonderful and always accommodating me without even asking. I love this place!

HOA said that they are only responsible for collecting rent, not for security. And this is not a safe area.

17 hours after a snow storm and they still haven’t had anyone come out and plow the parking lots. Cars are stuck everywhere here. I’m knocking off 1 star for that, otherwise the apartments are nice and modern, staff is very responsive to maintenance concerns (minus this snow) overall it’s a good place to live

I watched and visited these apartments for 6 months before we moved in. I love the amenities, the finishes in the apartment, the year round pool, the little community. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The leasing staff is great. No your rent does not include water and garbage BUT they do not hide that fact. The last complex included water and garbage in the price of rent HOWEVER, they were separated out on your monthly bill. Either way YOU ARE PAYING FOR WHAT YOU USE. I have had no issues with parking. That is a plus. I love our little Cosmopolitan Community.

Good location and that’s pretty much it when it comes to advantages. Very dirty, stairway is always dirty and seems like no cleaning is happening ever. Spilled cranberry sauce has been there since thanksgiving time. Disrespectful neighbors who are always loud, someone filled my door lock with something. Very rude staff: don’t answer calls or emails in a timely manner. Management doesn’t seem to care to provide good customer service. Manager Meghan is extremely rude and always trying to argue,I felt like i was being racially discriminated

My car got stolen twice and theres nothing to do I wish there was cameras around to see the parking lot and stuff.more security with the gate closed for more safety. Plus yall should make sure all cameras around are working because we pay a lot.

I’ve been living here for 1 year in Centro apartment. I’ve never had problems with anything everyone is really great. They are great help to me and a really nice to my family too whenever I need help and everyone is always there to answer my question.

Like most apartment complex, the biggest complaint would be the other tenants. At times they treat the complex as if its their backyard, but for the most part everyone is friendly and responsible. The staff is quick and attentive, and every request we have for maintenance is attended to promptly and with great service. We have lived here for a year and just extended our lease. Close to a good shopping center.

Megan Clark was a really disrespectful person I have ever met she gave the runaround and the customer service was awful I couldn’t even understand he smhhh I will never book a place to stay here!!!

I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! I have been a resident since 2016 but recently made a very very very bad decision to move...10 days later I was back into another apartment in one day!!!! I asked for brighter light bulbs in the bathroom and they were replaced within an hour! They have been so kind and worked with me at all times even at my worst! The current team is kind, compassionate and friendly! I’m so glad to be back home!

I have lived here for 2 years now! I absolutely love it here. It is the perfect location. I was looking for a central location, I walk to the shopping center nearby all the time. The have mini jazz concerts in the summer. Great people in the apartments as well. Staff is awesome, I have never had an issue , and they are so helpful. Maintenance is awesome too, Roger is great! Very quick to solve anything you may need. The apartments are right near an old park, so it is great property to walk your dog. The apartments are open concept and good size bathrooms and rooms! I love Centro!

I don’t really understand why the parking lots have gates if they never work. The gates are always open and we have had two cars stolen in a year.None of the appliances even workOur mail has gotten stolen/missing so many timesOur apartment was super greasy when we got it

Since new management has taken over there has been a major turn around. The staff are so friendly and professional. They demonstrate genuine concern for residents and also to give back to the community and try to be as involved as they can be. Keep up the good work girls. Anybody that has anything negative to say about the staff can suck a dick they are wonderful and Im so happy they took over.

Since the Gray Star Company had been fired a few months ago for poor management performance, this place has actually made a turn for the better. The new owners and staff have made this place great once more. Wonderful place to live with a great deal of shops within walking distance. Quiet, safe and most importantly, friendly people.

Front desk ladies are amazing! They will help you with whatever you need even if it doesn’t have to do with apartment questions. Super friendly. Great prices for what you get. Very convenient for groceries and shopping considering everything around is walking distance!

I want to compliment the new staff on their ability to get things done! I hadnt met the new management team til last weekend. They are courteous, friendly and on point! I look forward to my time here at this complex (2nd year here) with everything I need nearby, it makes it a very conventional place to live!

Luxury price without any actual luxury. Management team is horrible and always trying to gouge you for money. Watch your bills! Everything is broken, smells like urine, because no one cleans after their pets. There are much better places for less!

I have lived at Viridian for over a year and I love it. The staff is always so great especially the manager Lindsey. Any issues i have had have been handled promptly.This is the first time ive ever renewed my lease at a complex and i couldnt be more thrilled. Thank you!

We love living here. People always want to find things to complain about but NOwhere is going to be perfect. People shouldnt complain about things the office have no control over. This is by far the best place weve lived. The apartments are nice, its in a good location, and the staff are always nice & willing to help.

Great kitchen, bath & garage. Awesome location. Super staff here- the manager and everyone in the office are terrific. Our maintenance guys are excellent and take care of things right away. The groundskeepers work very hard here to keep the property clean; however they have their work cut out for them. There is even a dog poop pick up service.The only thing Id like to see happen is for Centro to add the key fob locks to all three of the access doors to the gym (only one of the 3 doors is secured by fob access) and the mail room (completely unsecured).This fall, homeless people have started sleeping in our mail room and in the hallways that access the 24 hour gym at night. I work late hours and have not been able to use the gym or get my mail multiple times after work because intoxicated and/or homeless people are using these areas.There is a security patrol but weve never actually seen them. Ive called them and Aurora non-emergency police four times since September.Homelessness is a big issue that is beyond Centros control. Securing resident amenities is well within Centros capability.

I really enjoy the office staff, they know who I am and are always friendly and accommodating. The amenities are great and the price is appropriate for what you get. Plus, the fact that they are new apartments means everything is clean and undamaged. The proximity to various shops and restaurants, as well as numerous parks, is really important to me and something I really enjoy about the location.

Cant wait to move. Place is a joke. Parking is the worst. Promised parking permits last spring & still nothing. Yet they have time to tow asap. Way over-priced for crime ridden area. Always loud music. Always smells like dog urine. Hallways are never clean. Nothing good to say about the place anymore.

Do Not Rent here ... the staffs are unprofessional especially the new Manager and the assistant and they will give you the run around. I had the worst time ever and do not recommend living here. Pretty outside yet it comes at a price! NO Parking!!!

We were forced out due to water intrusion and black mold. Once we reported the problem, they opened the wall, blew the mold around for a week and a half with industrial fans and then told us we had two weeks to vacate. But we had one week to decide if we were going to stay in another apartment or leave the premises. We asked if we could move to another apartment and then have a couple more weeks to find a new place. We were told absolutely not by the Regional manager who is a complete jerk. His emails were patronizing and kept making it seem like they were bending over backwards. They gave us a small concession on our rent that barely covered the moving costs. We could have made them pay to have everything professionally cleaned due to the mold but we didn’t. At one point I mentioned lawyers and then he shut down and said we would have to communicate through their lawyer. When I asked a few days later to have their lawyer contact us (after I had contacted the overlying company Avenue 5 to get some resolution with no response), Chad finally gave us a bit more compensation for our trouble and told us there would be no more and they weren’t responsible for anything. This is also after someone at Centro had contacted Xcel and moved our utilities to Centro’s care so they could charge us $50 a month for the pleasure of paying our electric bill for us. We had to fight them on this on more than one occasion. DO NOT RENT FROM CENTRO! Go half a mile west on Mississippi and you will find amazing apartments with much more square footage and with incredible amenities for the same price or cheaper.

I actually like living here. Besides my neighbors above me, its pretty quiet, you dont see people hanging around outside making noise.when we first moved here we were told that if there was ever an issue with rent you can sign a paper that will give you to the 15th to pay the rest of your rent as long as you have half at that time....that definitely came in handy when we needed it. All of the sudden we were told we couldnt do it anymore. They never sent out an email or letter or nothing and it really put us in a whole. We have received court papers twice because they couldnt find our money orders. Lilly is the only staff member that is nice since Stacey left.I would recommend this place to someone I know because of the Great gym, great pool area, plus its next to everything you could possibly need as far as shopping and food

Area is great, and I love the stores, but we pay almost 1400 for my 1 bedroom.Utilities arent included. No washer or dryers included for the high pricePets dont have anywhere to use the bathroom.LUXURY Cabinetry is cheap.Gates are always open, so they serve no purpose.Looks are really deceiving.and seriously,NO PARKING!!! I cannot stress that enough. With the increased population, everyone is moving into these apartments... SOOO overcrowded. Dont live here unless you want your own garage, which is $80+ extra a month.Staff is great, but security is SUPER slow.I do not recommend living here.

Pros: Nice counter-tops and fixtures.Cons: The management for this community is highly incompetent. While we lived in this complex there were 2 murders in the surrounding area. I would frequently have homeless people approach me and ask for money while I was walking my dogs. I did not feel comfortable letting my children go outside. Im pretty sure my neighbors were making or selling drugs from their unit. There were countless problems with the AC and water leaks in the unit. At one point they tried to raise our rent by over 300% when we wanted to go month-to-month. Twice they didnt record that theyd gotten my rent check and sent me a letter detailing the eviction procedures until I could show them that they drew the money from my bank account.Summary: Would highly discourage renting here.

I was the first resident to move into the Viridian when it opened. I love it here. Apartments are very quiet. The office staff is always friendly, so is the maintenance staff.

Its a great location, shopping centers are walking distance. The apartments are priced right for the location and amenities. The construction was unfinished when we first moved in which got really annoying when trying to sleep! But now that the construction is over Im really enjoying my new home.

I just moving in next month. I was treated with the most kindness. Jennifer and Lillian were both fantastic. I look forward to living in this new apartment.

I am going to start by saying that this apartment complex is highly UNDERrated. I have lived here for two lease periods now and it has been nothing less than a great experience. Although you may find some reviews that arent so good, I highly disagree with a majority of them. The staff here is truly amazing as well as accommodating and helpful. The maintenance guys are phenomenal and very on top of things. Heather, Stacy and Lindsay from the leasing office are some of the best people I know and really take the time to get to know their residents. You are going to find bad stuff to say about any apartment complex you live in, but this group of people and apartment complex really make the best of it and do everything in their power to take care of any issues you may have. As long as I live in the area, I will be staying at this apartment complex.

This place is like living in an old folks manner. You cant do anything without someone calling and complaining. 3:30 in the afternoon listening to some music ( not loud ) while in shower after the gym, you get a call complaint? Like seriously? Are these walls made of paper? Great place to live if you are a mouse. Not worth the 1400 per month for a 1 bedroom as you cant even walk around without someone calling on you. Plus the maintenance guy still hasnt fixed our garage issue and its been over a month.

I have lived here with my sister for over a year now, and I just found out that Viridian at the Gardens on Havana isnt even registered with the state of Colorado in order to conduct business. These people are robbing us all blind with high prices when they arent even legally able to take our money or enter into leases with us! RUN LIKE HELL! If I could give less than one star, I promise I would.......

If I could give it a lower star I would. Having my vehicle towed illegally due to lack of spaces available for residents is ludicrous. The area is not marked as a tow away zone, and the response from the ever shady towing company is because its not designated, meaning it was at their discretion to tow my vehicle and not the other one parked on the opposite side in the middle of the night.We have been promised parking permits for months and nothing. The gates are still broken and the stairwell door has yet to be fixed. Why am I paying all of this money just to be inconvenienced by having my only source of transportation and safety at risk? Severely disappointed beyond reason.

This apartment complex is a JOKE! Since ive lived here i have seen neighbors get into a huge brawl on their balcony, and one of them literally jump 25-30 feet onto someone elses car (shattering the window and denting the car).Someone was shot and KILLED here. They allow pits and other large dangerous dog breeds onto the property. The neighbor that lives above me let their dog urinate from their balcony and it was all over my balcony and outdoor furniture.The gates NEVER work! The hallways look like a homeless person resides here. This place is ghetto trash! I feel like i am living in government housing. Stay far away from this hell hole.Oh, i forgot the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors have SEX every night.

Just renewed for the 4th time. Now that Avenue 5 is the owner, a lot of improvements have been made. People who are complaining do have some legitimate complaints, but the same can be said for any apartment community. Every place has its issues, but at least the new team is trying to make a difference. They power washed the common areas for the first time in the 4 years that Ive lived here. They are a good team and I hope they stay on for awhile. Hands and feet above Greystar. The only thing I dont like is that we have to pay that horrible Conservice community, that goes up all the time. I dont think its right that we have to pay common area electric and gas. But it seems like that is common place among all communities around here, so if you choose to live in a apartment, then you have to deal with it. Oh, and the equipment in the gym is dead. But it is in the process of being replaced, so thats good. I still love my apartment and like I said before, I guess I have been blessed by the good neighbor gods, because I have never heard a peep out of my neighbors. Keep up the great work Avenue 5 team. Thanks for making all of the changes. Oh, and I have the most amazing view from my balcony.

Moved here in June 2018. I do enjoy living here for the most part.Maybe I got lucky with pretty quiet neighbors but we really dont hear anyone through the walls thankfully. [lol as Im listening to my next door neighbors baby scream bloody murder.]Although, we are on the 1st floor and whoever lives above us on the 2nd floor never takes her high heels off so we have to hear her shoes clanking every night when were trying to go to sleep.My biggest issue is how UTTERLY DISGUSTINGGGG the people are who live here!!!Theres like 6 buildings on the property and just in my ONE building, in the last 6 months theres been...ranch spilled all over the hallways outside my door,leftover pasta scattered in the hallways,bones scattered,a dead [smushed] tiny, baby bunny in my hallway,people literally throwing their trash everywhere,one time I walked outside to see someone had thrown an ENTIRE rotisserie chicken CARASS OVER THEIR BALCONY AND ONTO THE SIDE WALK,most recently walked outside to see large CLUMPS of hair on the ground that ABSOLUTELY resembled pubic hair. *vomit*The front doors slam shut, the gates slam shut, prepare for that.AND they use a package concierge system that you have to PAY FOR in order to receive your OWN PACKAGE DELIVERIES. Every time Ive complained about that, Im told its not our fault, its the company that charges you..............package lockers are the future so I guarantee theres a company out there that wouldnt charge residents to pick up their own mail.As far as staff & management, Ive had no issues. Kelsey & Deena are very helpful with what little things I ask them for. I havent ever mentioned to them about the trash & food everywhere because at the end of the day, its not their fault that the residents living here are so repulsive.I guess the only solution would be to have a maintenance person that actually looks after the property, and not just a quick glance.And good fricken luck finding somewhere to park here after 5pm. Never had an issue until recently so maybe people are letting their friends park here forever. Very frustrating not being able to park near your apartment.Other than all that, its really not too bad. I needed to post this honest review because this is stuff I literally deal with every single day. Very much just an okay place to live. :/

DONT LIVE HERE.LIve here if.. you like feeling like youre still in college.Worst experience of my husband and Is renting by far. We moved out after 1 month.Heres why: (PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS APARTMENT..its a long post..but seriously worth the read)We moved from Texas to Denver. The complex manager Kelsey assured me over the phone and through email that they had thoroughly cleaned our apartment and it was ready for move in. One of the office staff also assured me before signing the lease that they had a 10pm curfew for the pool area and security that roamed at night to make sure the noise is under control.My husband moved to Denver first for work and checked out the apartment when he picked up the keys (he was staying in a hotel). He took photos and sent them to me, it WAS NOT CLEANED like Kelsey promised.So they sent people out to clean it a 2nd time.By the time we arrived (530pm), we were exhausted by a 11.5 hour drive. Upon walking in and checking the apartment out, we realized it wasnt clean still.***I went by myself to get something from my car and 2-3 drunk painters/construction workers/something like that rolled out of a trunk, beer in hand following me and saying dirty things. I quickly got in my car and waited until they walked away....come to find when I got back up to my apartment THE CREEPY ONE WAS MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR. That made me feel unsafe and scared right away.Shortly after that...maybe 615, 630 pm.... multiple people started blasting music from their apartments. And I mean LOUD. The walls were paper thin. We arent scrooges, but we dont like that. Its inconsiderate, distracting and disrespectful.We got majority of of our boxes moved in and I started cleaning before unpacking. I do this anyways, but after the complex claimed they cleaned twice and it was still visibly dirty I knew I needed to do a thorough job.It was NASTIER than I thought.***There was HAIR that resembled pubes in our REFRIGERATOR, scuff Marks and white Marks all over the cabinets, one if the cabinets had a sticky spilled something inside, the bathroom had a poop looking clump on the cabinet beside the toilet, one cabinet was busted on the side, thick layers of moldy dust on the tops of everything, paint splatter ALL OVER EVERYTHING, and what looked like water damage on multiple ceilings.When I told the management about all of this and our discomfort... the offered to clean... A 3RD TIME. The manager told me that the second time they came out they were all on their hands and knees cleaning...doubtful. I refused because I could do it better myself.The entire first weekend multiple neighbors blasted music until 2-3 in the morning. When I told the office staff and re-asked about policies they said oh, we didnt receive any complaints. They blew me off.**within the first week of us moving there, maybe day 4, it was raining. Which means our apartment was raining. The water was LITERALLY pouring from the ceiling in our closet that connected to the bathroom. We had to set out multiple buckets.**that was the last straw. I contacted CORPORATE to explain EVERYTHING and they were very responsive and quick with action. Which I really appreciate.We ended getting our money refunded (after we found a new place), they let us take our time to find another apartment while living there (only took 2-3 weeks), and they also gave us 250 dollars towards moving our stuff.So kudos to corporate for making it right 🤷‍♀️Pros: the gym is nice, lots of shopping and dining in walking distanceCons: extremely loud partying neighbors, cheap fixtures, dirty apartments, paper thin walls, leaking/water damaged ceilings, nasty hallways, gated community where the people let their friends come in and park

Lived here from October 2014 to July 2015. SUPER overpriced. Construction the whole entire time I lived there. Fake hard word floors. fake cabinets. NO SOUND PROOFING WALLS/CEILINGS. Water, trash and sewer not included in rent. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING. Moved in when they just were being built and paid $1005 for a 650 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment...went to renew lease and rent jumped up to $1250 for the same small apartment. I hated living here. Pool is always crowded. Gates serve no purpose seeing as they either dont work or are always just open. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE!!!!

*Dont Rent Here unless you want the run around! The third party resident check company they use is not efficient. I gave my deposit 2 weeks ago thinking I was in the clear to move, yet the resident check hindered me. I provided all the documents they asked for despite them being rude and snide. Still I didnt get the apartment which was fine yet the manager of the apartment now says I have to wait 2-3 weeks to get me deposit back. I need my deposit to put down on another apt so I can move asap!

WORST place Ive ever had the displeasure of being a part of. Ive had numerous packed stolen FROM THE OFFICE, have been towed due to improper indication, get overcharged consistantly, and continously get no help from their management staff. There has been three groups of people in management in the one year Ive lived here. Dont waste your time or money. Oh and this gated community has no working gates. And not to mention there is NO parking whatsoever.

I wish I could post the pictures of the current situation. Im not a resident here but my boyfriend is. He lives on the 3rd floor (the top floor) and there is water leaking through the roof. Part of the ceiling has rotted away and his light fixture is filled with water. The bulbs and the electric sockets are completey submerged in water. This is an extremely dangerous situation which he complained about on Monday morning, 3/28/16, and her it is 3:20am Wednesday morning, 3/30/16, and nothing has been done.Check out my FB for pics. Maintenence came by and removed the carbon monoxide detector, as water was leaking from it, then told him, dont turn the light on for a couple of days. Apparently they cant do anything until the roof is fixed?Viridian, do you not understand the potential... no, the immediate danger you are putting all of your residents in?!?! I sent you a FB message with pics.My boyfriend has to work in the morning, but I will be at the office as soon as you open to show your staff the importance of this situation.

My only real complaints about this place are the shallow walls. I can hear my neighbors talking all the time. Always hearing slamming doors. The parking really stinks. There are cars roosted in spots that never leave and lately there has been a food truck blocking in cars. There are a loy of vacant apts so i just dont understand why there are almost never any spots. Not to mention my master bedroom shares a wall with my next door neighbors bedroom so theres not much privacy in those regards.

Someone in the office is signing for packages from UPS and stealing them and providing names of previous residents that no longer live there, there for you are left with no package. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE TO YOUR APARTMENT.
