Open for public since 4th Nov 2017.This Memorial Park is dedicated to all the Freedom Fighters who sacrificed their lives in the historical freedom struggle for Indian Independence.KRANTI CHOWK: was the place where Freedom Fighters were publically hanged during British Era.This Independence War Memorial is termed as Swatantra Sangram Smarak in Marathi.The Memorial hoist a 69 Meter (227 Ft.) tall Indian National Flag of dimensions 16.5M x 11M (54Ft. x 36Ft.) on a octagonal shape base, which has got Ashoka Pillars at all corners.The Flag pole weighs almost 18 Tonnes and is designed to cater high wind velocities.
