Lovely family owned restaurant. Best Thai on the shore for sure! ;) Highly recommend their duck red curry, and ginger rice - amazing. Always lots of meat, thick curry (never watery like some places) and great flavour. Thanks!

$10 for two roti, small portion of red curry against the yellow curry. Disappointed in price for the size of serving.Yellow curry had potatos in it but didnt say in description, red curry lacked basil.The noodles tasted fishy and was inedible because of this was meant to be vegetarian....Ordered via uber eats believe it or not this cost me $75.

Delicious! We first tried the food here on uber eats when we were at a friends in takapuna. Loved it, so drove the 40 minutes from our house to eat in person. Again, loved it! The food is some of the best Thai food we have had and the customer service was 10/10. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I experienced Real Authentic Thai food on Wednesday night 24th. The whole experience of being welcomed in to their establishment and being waited on with a smile, and the Best Thai food was breath taking. As I am a city and guilds chef myself I was most impressed by the whole experience of dinning there. My partner and I will most definitely be going back. Went in for a slightly late dinner as my friend has limited options due to going gluten free. Really lovely ambience and decor. Nice, warm service. We ordered two Pad Thais and one Green Curry, food was delicious and came a lot quicker than I expected, which was great because we were starving. I would say a Pad Thai here was a bit unique compared to what Ive had elsewhere. It was quite creamy as expected but also there was a hint of sweetness which I enjoyed. Price is about middle of the range as far as Thai is concerned. All in all good experience.

The food here is soooooo good!! Wish I had tried them sooner, I won’t go to another Thai restaurant, this is the best! I am celiac and never have to worry when ordering from here.

As someone whos been to Thailand multiple times, this is the most authentic Thai Ive had in this country.

Dinner from Thai Isaan has always been a good choice for us whether we eat in or get delivery through uber eats. Cant beat dining in though. Have been eating more Thai lately as avoiding dairy. I was turned to Thai Isaan with recommendation to the scallop curry option on their menu with a generous portion of what must be atleast 10 scallops per curry - very consistent and makes this place my go to for Thai food. Recently dabbled in the seafood mix which was definitely good, but based on my personal preference, in future im staying loyal to the scallops!

Went for dinner with 3 colleagues for the first time about 2 months ago to this lovely quaint little restaurant. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming and the food was exquisit. It was such a good experience that I have been back quite a few times since then, On Sunday the 29th Nov, the friendly owner Adriaan,was kind enough to open the restaurant for our 30th wedding anv for lunch, whereby we treated 30 friends to a 3 course meal, which once again cannot be fault. The food was absolutely devine as usual.Adrians partner surprised us by putting up a few balloons which was really kind of her.. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant .One of the best Thai Restaurants I have been to.

Ive been using this restaurant for many years. Recently it has changed management/owner and this is my first time trying them for take away since the change.First the prices have gone up for take away. What used to be around $35-$40 is now over $50. In addition the portion size and quality is now not as good. The Thai fried rice was completely bland and the rice was essentially mush. The ginger chicken was also quite bland and tasteless.There are lots of other options in Highbury for Thai for better pricing, portion size and quality.

Disappointing doesnt even begin to cover it. We usually have Thai once or twice a week and decided to give this place a try. Penang was bland with zero flavour and a distinct lack of vegetables other than carrot or corn. Chicken tasted/felt like it was microwaved. Pad thai tasted like it had a whole bottle of fish sauce in it (completely inedible). Wont be back.

The food is to be expected for the price- greasy as hell. But portion size is great. If you want authentic thai you pay $10 more per dish, so dont expect fancy.Staff dont speak much English, who cares though. I come here often for a cheap feed.
