Phone order: lady who answered phone was rude. When I picked up food she didnt even bother to let me know food is ready.... chicken 65 was dry and barely flavoured and didnt even fill HALF the takeaway box!!!!.. why charge $19.90 if you gonnna give about $10 worth of chicken 65??. As for chicken Manchurian was not good. No flavour either. More sauce than chicken... really disappointed in this place. Wont return. Waste of money. The food was not good and the women at front of restuarant need to learn proper KIWI style of treating customers (thats friendliness and smiles) where as she doesnt even say hello instead just ask what do you want? 🙄

Absolute stunning service at Indian Accent under the wonderful management of Meenakshi. Thank you all so much for the incredible effort you all put in. We booked a buffet for around 60 people and the quality did not disappoint in the slightest. The setup was clean and beautiful, the food was so fresh and always topped up, the drinks were continuously refilled, the plates were all cleared as needed. Everyone was super attentive to our guests and we could not be happier with the service and care we received. 11/10 experience and will definitely be coming back.

She doesnt know the value of good customer service. We will never come back.Divjot/Kavita were very nice and took very good care of our guests. Very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Good food, generous portions and, most of all, tasty meals. The naan was hot and cooked just right. Will definitely eat there again.

It seemed they were drunk.Honestly, came here to spend great time with friends, it was such a terrible experience. Moreover, we assumed to appreciate food but when there’s no peace and people are being too loud, how you expect to enjoy the food?Squander of time and money.

I have been there to attend a party, it was a buffet. But, the service they provided was very sleepy and food was not of good quality as before. We ended up with less food. They should provide enough food for the number of people they got paid. The restaurant should be responsible to cook enough food as per buffet deal according to the number of people. I also noticed couple of examples of poor customer dealing by the lady manager and waiter they provided for the party. This was horrible experience

The lady at the front is very rude. Someone teach her how to smile. If we are paying premium for Curries, the least she can do is smile and not be rude. A smile in customer service goes a long way.

They cheated in buffet ( didn’t provide enough food for everyone). They did not even clear the tables and provide proper cutlery even we kept requesting. One of the staff members kept telling us to pay the bill early as their manager wanted to go home. We paid the bill before dinner. Soon after they told us that kitchen is close now and we are not able to provide you bread. Half of our guests left without having dinner. It was really awful and disappointed as we paid for everything. We will never recommend this restaurant to anyone for any party.

We went here today (07 February) because of a recommendation. We ordered the lamb breyani as take away for home. When we got home. My wife dished the food and what did I find. A red prayer string and hair in the breyani! What does this say about the cleanliness of the establishment. I returned to show them what I found in the food and I was questioned if I was sure this was found in the food. After examination the manager said the red string is Indian spices and shes not sure about the hair. Why would I drive back 5km just to lie about this for a $22 meal? I will not be going there ever again and I suggest whoever reads this to never visit if you care about your health. The establishment still decides to argue regarding the STRINGS AND HAIR found in the food, saying it was Saffron. Weve been cooking for years and we know the difference between Saffron and prayer strings. Again, we would advise that you do not eat here.

Disappointing experience.We ordered 2 curries, 1 rice, and 1 naan online with a ~35 minute wait time. When picking up, the staff at the counter were very unfriendly and unwelcoming. No smiles, no hello, and I had to wait to be acknowledged.Once they found our order in the system, we were told to wait. Overall took 1hr 10mins since the time we placed the order. Had we known itd be so long, we wouldve rather waited at home and left later to pick up instead of standing around for so long. Once ready, there was no apology for the delay.When we got home to eat, we found they had not given us any rice. Too much of a hassle to drive all the way back so we just ate without.Not a good experience, and this is not the only time. A shame as the food is tasty, but now we wont be returning.As a customer service employee myself, I would be embarrassed if this was my team.

I went there with high hopes. It was my sons birthday and this restaurant was recommended to me by many and they said the food there was exquisite and made by professional chefs. But when I went there for food the only thing I found was a cockroach. A restaurant should serve food not bugs.

We been there for a birthday party (30/03/21)and the service was provided by the staff was horrible, so much attitude by the lady manager , she need to learn how to handle the customer complaints, if someone book a bufee service i think they should provide a full eating stuff ( paid $45 per plate for 35 peoples and just find hardly 5 -6 naans ) . Before atleast closing kitchen they should make enough naans for 35 people , Please dont waste your money here , such a bad service experience

I had a great experience today with Indian Accent as we been there from my brother in laws Birthday dinner. Anjali was the one looking after us from Indian Accent. Staff played the Birthday song and made our dinner so special. Food was awesome. Highly commandeered Place to go. Very Friendly, Professional and helpful staff . Great Service. I would leave zero stars if I could. The food service is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. You should not call yourself a Indian accent restaurant. The service feels ridiculously. just whitewashed.

Went on a busy night, but waiting over an hour for our mains for only 3 of us seems excessive, furthermore they got mixed up 1 of our orders and looking back charged us for this incorrect item which was more. Not good service

We held two family events here. The owner and service staff were really polite, food was enjoyed by all the guests and they accommodated our dietary requirements.Recommend giving them a visit soon.

This is the best Indian Restaurant around! We dont go anywhere else now -why would we? We are working our way through the menu and so far everything has been amazing. And the variety of flavours are great. We normally eat in - the service is fantastic and the restaurant is usually quiet making the whole experience even better.

Food tasted awful, worst biryani I have ever had, the mains were salty, the meat tasted frozen, no care whatsoever in the kitchen, I felt very hesitant to pay because I didnt finish anything, it was horrible. Only positive was their waitress, she was very polite and did a great job trying to accomodate us. However, the chef needs a huge wake up call, does he/she even taste the food, Ive eaten home made food that tasted better than that.

Very bad service. Ordered Soya chili chap online but received Tandoori chap. I wasn’t informed about the change and I had to go back and ask for the change and wait for 20 mins to get the right dish. This is not first time , faced similar experience couple of times. Food is not great like before.

We used to go on this place because some of the dishes are really delicious. This time we went there after a long time. Me and my huaband are vegetarian and we order gobhi ( cauli flower) Manchurian but we got chicken mixed in that. That made us so upset.😔😔

My parents and I visited Indian Accent and I have to say that their service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. They did not want to listen to what we had to say, rather they suggested food to us that we did not even want, they INSISTED that we order medium spice even though we wanted mild. From the minute we walked in, everything felt completely wrong. Both air conditioners were turned on which made the restaurant extremely cold (basically freezing) to the point that I had to wear my fathers jacket just to keep me warm while I ate.When the food arrived it was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE, the food was extremely spicy that neither my mother, father or I could properly eat the food. You would expect that an Indian restaurant in a foreign country would cater to the needs of the people from that country meaning that they would not give us a spice level that we will not be able to handle, or at least inform us that the spice level that they gave us may be too spicy for us to handle. YET NO ONE INFORMED US THIS. the next day both my mother and I had EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA, our stomachs were hurting with SO MUCH UNBAREABLE PAIN, that I nearly considered going to the hospital.I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, EVER. NO ONE DESERVES TO GO THROUGH THE DIARRHEA WE WENT THROUGH.

Hi, I ordered through uber eats. I had to call to check my order. They were taking so long. After over an hour and 20 mins, uber driver still waiting outside. They charge premium price on uber menu and still the service provided by restaurant is pathetic. The only reason provided was we are so busy n told me to wait another 20mins. If I wanted to wait for 2hrs then I might as well rocked to a fine dine restaurant n not uber eats.

First of all thank you so much for spoiling our Diwali!! You dont even deserve one star I dont know why there is no option for giving no stars at all.I made an order for delivery well in advance to be delivered at 7.00pm knowing that the restaurant will be busy because of Diwali. However I get a notification just half an hour before the delivery time saying that the order wont be accepted and will be cancelled. This is highly unprofessional to give a last minute notification and spoiling all the family celebrations and festivities. We are regular customers for both dine in as well as for delivery. I believe this was unfair to us when they could have just given me phone call that they cant accept order and given me valid reason for it right after I placed the order hours before the actual delivery time or called me to pick it up instead.So just a word of warning to everyone out there dont rely too much on the delivery service of this restaurant during any festival or any publuc holiday because youll be highly dissapointed just like we were. I hope this feedback is taken into account.

Generally the staff on the floor were ok. But staff behind the counter seemed unfriendly. The lady behind the counter was on the phone but.... just didnt make eye contact at all...no service with a smile...just didnt acknowledge us standing at the counter waiting to be served just made us feel unwelcome.

People plz be careful and avoid it as far as possible.Booked buffet in for 20-25 people dinner, 3 hours before the dinner get a call from restaurant manager to shift my booking to their Mount Wellington Branch as their Botany Branch is possibly about to get fully booked, and we would probably not be contributing well to their night business as I had booked on per plate. I decline this as its a nuisance.Our time of arrival is 7pm, and the starters get served around 8.15 pm.Then around 9.30 dinner is served, cold, with poorly sliced and absolute horrendous salad.Out if 25 people, 3 people didnt turn up, but they charged us for their money as well, okay get that, but when we ask to take away that share of 3 peoples food, thats declined. DISGUSTING!

We have attended a birthday party today at Indian Accent Restaurant Botany. We heard from many people about their timely service and great food. I know its hard to believe for someone that they have not at all fulfilled their commitment made at the time of booking the event. The staff was not responsible and cooperative. They were not placed the complete menu items on the table which shows lack of their coordination. By the time we realised that they forgot to bring the dessert soon after dinner, our many guests have already left after waiting for so long. I strongly recommend if you guys are not capable enough to accomodate large gathering along with operating your walk-in dining, please do not make false commitments and be honest.Thanks

Went here for the first time last night for a family dinner. Menu was very extensive with lots of options for both meat and vegetarian dishes. We ordered the vegetarian mixed platter to start which was very tasty. We then ordered 4 mains to share between the 4 of us, and each dish was very flavoursome and authentic, each with its own distinct taste. I would recommend dining here.

We were told it was a 20min wait for food which turned out to be over an hour.The restaurant was full but perhaps you need to look at your staffing levels or competency as it doesn’t seem like the restaurant could cope.We politely gave feedback about the food coming out very inconsistently there was about a 20-30 min difference between some dishes, for which a patron had to wait while the rest of us ate.The staff member we mentioned this too was really defensive and dismissive “the chef is actually really busy” - thanks for stating the obvious .It’s quite rude to treat your customers like that. Really defensive and not open to feedback - as you can see in their responses to other poor google reviews.I personally won’t be going back due to the shocking service. I’d rather eat average food and have better service and more attentive staff who can get the order right.....Oh also, the staff started popping a bunch of balloons whilst the restaurant was occupied by patrons (one table had a balloon but dropped on their table from the upper bit of the restaurant)! And there were babies sleeping !!!!!!!!!!! They were given feedback and again carried on. Shocking.
