Our new ramen local, so satisfying! Also on Uber Eats if we get lazy...Well rounded menu with a great balance of meat and vegetarian options. Sapporo on tap, garlic cheese pork gyoza, super fresh edamame, spicy miso tonkotsu ramen (had to add an egg, such a good plan!), and genuine vegetarian miso ramen made with vegetable miso broth, all amazing! Plus lovely staff, family friendly, calm, relaxed atmosphere, and reasonably priced (not super cheap but worth every penny). Cant wait to visit again. Check it out!

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Auckland. They are chain stores but with slightly different menu.Clean environment and comfortable seating and lighting. A comfy place to enjoy your meal.Food there is authentic Japanese taste. Love their karaage (fried chicken), gyoza and spicy miso ramen.

This was a newly opened branch of Daruma, we were excited to try out their kid friendly menu as I find it really interesting to have beer for kids (apple juice based drink). It was jampacked when we went there quite tight space and there was q bit of a wait. We were warmly welcomed, staff are friendly. Food is good, but I think the price is not worth of the servings it had on my bowl! My daughter, however, enjoyed her portion which I am really happy about. If you are looking for an interesting experience for your bubs, go and try their kid menu! (PS, it has a lolly and jelly included! Haha).

Pretty average pork Ramen, noodles are like the ones from an instant noodle packet, and very small serving. Even Japan has much larger portions. Separately, the Miso soup was horrible and very strong tasting, like they forgot to dilute it. Lots of fried foods on offer so gives you an idea of the quality.

The taste is bland and average at best. The portion size is small for its price. I could get bigger sized ramen/donburi that tastes better for similar prices elsewhere.Not recommended if you are hungry and wanted a big feed.

Food is very much like the other Daruma shops (Japanese ramen and donburi). Not quite as good as Ajisen in my opinion but still very nice. Big seating area and good parking.

I received my order through Uber eats - This is a photo of a very under cooked and soggy chips with no salt that’s been marketed as their yum yum chips. Couldn’t eat it. It also isn’t the fault of the delivery driver, he delivered it quickly and these chips have never been crunchy or been close to in their life.I also tried their spicy miso ramen and it came with three fine slices of pork and that is it. Mediocre at best.Very disappointed and if I could give no stars I would.

Ramen tastes only ok. Takeaway portion is a joke while you open the container. Not enough noodle, not enough soup and not enough toppings comparing with other new Ramen shops opened last year in new market. Price are quite similar though.

Chicken karaage was doubled fried and chicken katsu was not fresh at all. Can tell from the crumbs. Rice was defrozed, done in microwave. It is alright for others who does not have knowledge about Japanese food.

If I could give less than one star I would, I got food poisoning from this restaurant (by the sounds of the reviews not the first time this has happened). If you have been or get sick from this place I would recommend contacting the Auckland DHB through their website, they have my case on file. I emailed to let them know rather than leaving a review, no response and when I rang the store they seemed to think it was funny that I wouldnt be coming back, had a poor attitude and didn’t want to know about it.

The facilities are clean and nice, but the food is too low.
