I spent 95 dollars on a flashlight named 600 Lumen Rechargeable LED Spotlight with Adjustable Beam and Cree XML LED, which claims it can reach 500 meters when adjusted, i could barely reach 150 meters when adjusted. I would of gave it 1 star, but it has a decent flood option, but since im paying almost 100 dollars for a regular flashlight with false advertising I dont think i will be shoping here any time soon.

Great place to look for anything related to car electronics. Staff is knowledgeable and courteous. They stock almost all solutions for your car requirements. Great place and prices are affordable.

Highly recommend, the staff member who served me was extremely helpful - this is not the type of shop I frequent all that often, so having that great customer service was such a relief as I went in not really knowing about the type of product that I needed.

A nice corner electronic shop tug in next to a traffic light. Use GPS or Waze to get there or you may missed it. A well equipped electronic shop which has standard and huge variety of electronic items for sale. Friendly & helpful staff to assist if you need a helping hand. Many DIY shop here for best range and price of electronic part or accessories. Sells surveillance camera & whole shop under keen eyes. Sometime their offer bin is a treasure trove.

Absolutely horrible service!!Not being racist but I want the store know who did this. The Indian lady at the counter is the rudest person I have encountered in a long time! Went for a refund she said they cant do any refund before 1pm?! What rubbish is that??? Then almost ordered me to go back to manukau store to get the refund!! The manukau store seemed to be very helpful as I called them. While this branch was forcing me to get store credit after some time, Manukau branch apologized on behalf and offered me the refund as I called them again. Never coming back and I hope no one makes a purchase here if they care about after service!!

Went to refund/fix item.Staff told me they had to look into a fix and investigate more.Told me to leave my number and email, saying they would contact me when they find any answers.Never heard back.

Customer service was so terrible. They dont know what they have, they dont know where it is. After a long time, they found it. Although there was a price for one item, but they said they only can sell a bulk of 10 items. After we paid and unpacked, it just had 8 pieces in the box. So it means customer can just buy an item not a bulk. To make sure, I asked to another staff member, whether it is possible to buy one item instead of a bulk. And the answer was it is long process I didnt ask how long it takes.Also I asked them to send the receipt to my email but the staff didnt know how to do it.

I needed a dual label mic set up urgently for a shoot and the staff could not have been more helpful. Even though they didn’t stick everything I needed, they rang another competitor and checked the stock there. They also opened all the packages so I could test it out.

I was struggling to get a replacement adapter for my cafes sound system and was referred to Jaycar Electronics. I managed to get a multi-voltage switchmode AC adapter with 7 interchangeable DC plugs which did the trick for me. What a find! Helpful salesperson too. Highly recommend.

The only electronics stores in Auckland you can walk into nowadays. Kyber Pass branch small but happy to get things in as needed.

As a keen electronics hobbyist, I find the Jaycar Electronics store at 231 Kyber Pass Rd, Newmarket is my favourite go-to local store for nearly all things electronic - especially since the bankruptcy of the Dick Smith chain. I have visited other Jaycar stores, but this one is my nearest and I have been using it for a number of years now.This store has one of the most extensive and best laid-out stocks of products that I have seen in Jaycar stores. The staff are well-trained and generally pretty knowledgeable about the products they sell. I have occasionally had to return some of their electronics, because performance wasnt up to specification, yet there was never any difficulty in returning products for a full refund or an upgrade to a better version.Highly recommended.

Went out of my way to explain to the lady serving me about what I needed for a tos link audio setup, and she gave me a wrong cable and convertor, even after Id shown her photos of the setup so she would be able to know easily what I needed. I walked out the door, realised she gave me the wrong cable, so went back in and got the correct one. No drama. But when I got home, there was no sound coming out when I set everything up. Another phone call and wasted trip back down there to change it to the right one. With no mention of being sorry or to make it up to me. Learn how to your job properly and employ people who do so jaycar. Wont be coming back here and will be telling others not to, boo 👎

Always a great experience with very helpful and knowledgeable staff with tonnes of cool gadgets n stuff. If youre like me youll end up spending hours looking around - very dangerous cause you just wanna spend!Wide range of goods, well priced. Not the outlets fault but some of the tech is of a poor quality so check your goods as quick as possible so that you are able to identify issues and return asap. You normally get to swap out or get full refund which is cool.Parking is easy from Boston Road (under the bridge basically) so no reason not to stay a while..

Staff inside were extremely friendly and even though I couldnt find the two specialty parts I needed (it was a long shot anyway), I still enjoyed the very brief experience. Note though, the parking situation is by far the worst especially around rush hour because its just so much hassle to get to it w motorway traffic. Google Maps also may tell you you can turn off the motorway straight here but you cant; better to get off northbound and go left left left

I bought RFID sensor for Arduino and it dose not work.I came back to the store the next day to return it and the two ladies refused to accept it because i did not have the box(which i lost).They said you cant return it and we don’t believe you if it is working or not so we have to test it and get back to you in 2 working days maximum.I waited for a week and no body contacted me.I went to the store and there was a guy working there and he refunded me without making things complicated.In another words, good luck if you want to return anything with the two ladies.

A handy electronic shops for all of your audio, electrical, cars electrical parts, electronics, hobby and things. Some are cheaper than Surplustronics and PB Tech, some are too expensive. Staff members are always friendly & helpful.

Majority of the items are very low quality and highly priced. Most of the items can be found on places like aliexpress/dx etc for alot cheaper. Only good when youre desperate for something and cant wait for a delivery. The staff are really great though they are very helpful.
