Nice place to visit if your in Ooty.

Loved it but at least 8 people should go for boating and last for 20 mins. Two prices for 800 and 1000 rs available.

Good place, you even get lot of eateries. Do drink coffee inside boat house restaurant, it really matches with the climate. There are alot of attraction inside.

The Pykara catchment area and the boat house are very good. The water is very clean as be clear unlike the Ooty lake where it is very dirty and shallow. I thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride. They have choice of boats and the speed boat will give a thrilling experience to the youngsters.

A very crowded place in ootty. Well known for the boats.Speed boats,pedal boats, rowing boats are available.Camera and video camera usage is chargeable. Mobile camera usage is not charged. The entry to the place is restricted through tickets. There is childrens play area, a small train, gaming area, restaurants, juice shops, crazy cars, dragon ride inside the boat house. A place for archery, shooting is also there inside the boat house.

This Boat House is very small, running on an artificial pond with lots of big fishes. Water was very dirty. This is inside Sims Park, Conoor.

There is not much to see here. There are not many places to see so u might as well just go ahead and visit it.

Pykara is the most beautiful and is the cleanest lake in Ooty province. The Boat ride rates are also very reasonable.

Beautiful and cheaper place in Ooty for boating. Ticket price for Pedal boat (for two people) is 190 (Boating charge) + 190 (Refundable deposit) for 30 mins.

Nice place to have a good time with family and/or friends. Boat riding experience was amazing. We rode the pedal boats but motor boating is also available. The price is two staged. You get the security deposit back if you check out within half an hour (30 min). I am not sure if its worth the cost but it was definitely enjoyable.

Its a must place to visit in Coonoor, the park is divided into Rose Garden, small Lilly pond, flowering plants area and also there are a very small boating area and children park. They have the steep steps so it will be tiring for the elders so be aware of that.Fruit show is a famous festival show which is conducted during the month of May in this garden.There are no shops inside this garden, better you can carry some snacks or food with you.Overall a nice place for relaxing....

Great experience with boating and the boat driver had done well like shaking of boat makes more thrill..... Enough number of boats like 4 members, 8 members, 15 members with safety life jackets, open boats also with shelter available. Superb all enjoyed well...

Boat house is located 8 km approx from the botanical garden OotyIt is easily visible from the main road.Parking is available here but you have to pay60 RS as parking feeThere are many games here you have toy train scary house and many more games here and mainly you have pedal boat for 2 people or 4 people and motor boat also.

Serene and peaceful, water is clean, boats are well maintained, one should come with family and friends to enjoy this natural place

Enjoyed boating... lovely place to visit with family

Was very crowded as we went during season and holidays. However the maintenance needs a strong improvement. Boating you can enjoy as its a big lake. Toy train, please avoid, nothing and not worth;)

Enjoyable lake side with paddle boat ⛵ facilities. Also there is a toy train to visit around the place. Youll really enjoy if you go with group.

Just get short boating

If you are visiting Kerala you must have to try boat house. Good quality food. Charges for one night for 3 couples approx 10000 to 15000 depend upon the season. Must try fish here.

A unique boating opportunity. As a couple we wanted to rent out a boat but were told to split up towards front and rear facing seats each due to balancing reasons. To overcome the inconvenience we could have hired a boats man at extra charges - hello???

Sims park coonoor

Ooty is a heaven is earth. Lovely people. SIMS park is extremity of tranquility. Boating is of course fun, but the place is not meant for it.

This comes inside Sims park in Coonnoore. But I dont recommend a boating here as the water area is too less for the same. Recommend spending more time with flowers in Sims park.

The boat house has boating available until 6.30 pm everyday and other attractions in the same compound. The boating time is for half an hour and the time is calculated by scanning the bar code in the ticket before and after the trip. So its important to scan the ticket on time. Also if the time exceeds half an hour the deposit paid while getting the ticket will not be refunded. Other attractions around the place includes food joints,small shops selling winter clothes, gifts, and a 4d theatre ( of sub standard quality) . The food is a little over priced than normal outlets.. but overall the boating experience and the scenery around is worth paying a visit.

The Ooty boat house is a nice place for family time. They offer services in different sizes of boats. They are cheaper too. You can take a small peddle boat or motor boats. We took the larger boat that’s meant for around 40 people.
