Never eat shawarma from this shop. We had a shawarma on 13th Aug 2021 and we were hospitalised on next day. Then we came to know that not only us, but some others are also affected.

One of the oldest bakery in athani. They have upgraded with time. Few tables available to enjoy cool drinks/juices or tea/coffee with snacks. All verieties sweets, snacks, dry fruits, cakes, fries etc are available. Very difficult to find parking especially for 4 wheelers since nearby roads are no parking area.

I purchase small parippu vada from here . This bakery is there since last 30 years. Some 20 years ago , my mom used to purchase small vada from here . At that time the cost of a vada was 75 paise .Still they make the same vada ,.

Eight people who ate shawarma from Puthussery bakery in Chengamanadu Athani got food poisoning. They were admitted to the hospital. The incident took place last Friday. Two children under the age of 10 were involved in food poisoning. The bakery was closed on Saturday afternoon under the leadership of Chengamanadu SI. The owner, Anthony, was arrested.
