It was a historical palace built by Mughal Emporer Shahjahan. His wife Moti Begum was residing at this house. Palace is 2.5 kilometer from main road and Asir is nearest village.

This palace is situated at the foothills of Asirigad/Asirgarh. This palace is situated on the north-east of village called ‘Moti Mahal’ on the bank of the river ‘Pandhari / Pondhari’. This two storyed beautiful building was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved Moti Begum. The lower portion of the two-storeyed palace is made of stones. One of the lawns has the grave of Shahjehan’s lover Moti Beghum.

It was built in the memory of Shahjehan’s lover Moti Beghum. Moti Mahal is located on the bank of Pondhari river in Burhanpur. The architecture of the palace represents an amalgamation of Mughal-Rajput styles.

Some ruins remain. A lot of part of structure has collapsed. Restoration has happened to some extent. But u will find this place used as a picnic spot by locals. People cook food and party.
