Frog are good bikes but parts need frequently replacingWhilst Frog are nice bikes, many of their parts don’t last well and cost quite a bit to replace. Handlebar grips are particularly bad (told by Frog customer services they aren’t great!) and the ever changing/easily damaged mudguards have additional costly parts that need to be bought for attaching them)Worth researching other bike brands as the costs mount up.
We have had 2 kids learning on a frog balance bike.2,5 year old can manage it no problem within a couple of times.our older daughter (now 5),went from a balance Frog bike to a 16 pedal bike, with no stabilisers and she is absolutely loving it.They are expensive but they absolutely worth every pennyI am including a couple of pictures (quality isnt great as they are screenshots from a video).Strongly recommended!
In my experience today they have great availability of spare parts, even spares for mudguards rather than having to buy a whole new set. Pricing of spares very reasonable, and free delivery. I found the customer service excellent.Well done Frog Bikes, long may it continue :)
These are brilliant bikes. Frog have gone back to basics and produced a bike designed to fit kids properly with good quality component parts that work well. Brakes and gears are consequently easy to operate. The bikes are light and kids love riding them and they will probably be cyclists all their lives as a result.
We own two Frog bikes and are absolutely delighted with them. They stand out for being light, simple and well-built. Importantly, the team at Frog Bikes are clearly atuned to the expectations of their customers and are uncompromising when it comes to safety and quality. If you are looking for a bike today, buy British and seriously consider a Frog bike.
We have stocked and sold Frog Bikes since they started. They are lightweight, good build quality and most importantly - the children who ride them just love them (to the point where we have had tears when parents try and leave them behind for a service - the bike that is, not the child)
Frog Bikes is a manufacturer of Light Weight Childrens bikes and are not a bike shop
Broken frame on a Frog. Company not interested, just blame the child
