Room not so clean. Very old interior and bad smell of old things. Lift is like horror movies.

Hotel Excellency is located at a prime location beside GT Road and this hotel is well connected with all sorts of public transport. Asansol railway station is nearby. The room that was provided to us was good, however, it was too small considering we were 3 guests. The room service of Hotel Excellency also needs to be better!

Well, we stayed here for a college reunion for a night. The hotel owner lady was really kind to us and really helpful. The rooms are as good as they get in a overnight hotel and the bathrooms were neat. We requested two room changes for a leaking flush and were shifted immediately. The service was prompt and the management was proper. We even got our beers chilled in the hotel fridge. We partied till wee hours in the morning but no one disturbed us in any manner or portrayed any notion of discomfort because of the same. The food was really tasty and light, but I would like to point out that the quantity is a little questionable so order accordingly.Thanks to the team of Hotel Excellency for making that night memorable for us!

Room and bathroom is clean, washbasin has some water logging problem, but its Ok..Food quality and presentation is very good.Its very cold now a days at Asansol but the Proper blanket was missing..!Overall its 4 out of 5ğŸ‘

One of the popular hotel in Asansol. This hostel is situated on G T Road near nh 19 just opposite of petrol pump. It is also informed that asansol jn railway station is with in 5 kms. Volvo bus also give their stop here on request. Middle class and upper middle class can afford it.

Average... I have no other option.. As Fani Typhoon was here so... Small rooms... one positive is road side rooms... Coffee was ok.. Toilets average.. Improvement is required.

Its one of the few nice hotels of Asansol. The hotel is situated at a pretty decent place. You can get autos and Ola cabs from there. Talking about the room, the rooms were okay. The bathroom was decent. They have a geyser for hot water, though the hot water wasnt coming consistently and we complained about it. They said it was the overhead tank fault. They provided bucket of hot water as compensation. The food we ordered were okay. The sabji Puri was good. But the aloo parathas were bad. One more thing, if you plan to visit it during winter then be aware they dont have room heater. Though they will provide extra blankets which is good. Overall, it was a good stay. I would recommend it.

Hotel is good। The problem was with their bed। You can literally feel the spring of the mattress। though they have give an extra cover for that upon asking। Foods are good but extra oily। They must look after that।

The hotel has been a standard one, but bit over priced regarding the budget and staying. The double beded rooms were small according to its price. Also, the room service were good but the basic amenities were lacking like not serviced Telecom and a bit of old ac though functional and chilling.

From outside hotel looks beautiful but from inside it is totally disgusting. Poor interior, Fluppy walls, Pipes running outside the bathroom wall, windows full of spiders web and the bed was too filthy.Very poor experience at this place.

The place is on the main road which one might think is a good thing but vehicular noise is very high. The lift is so ancient that you are actually terrified to use it. The rooms were clean but the arrangements could have been better.
