I was admitted at the age of 7 as a boarder at St Patricks Asansol in 1950, 1951, 1952 and 1953. At that time my parents, younger sisters and brother lived in Balasore where there was no english speaking school that is how I came to be at St Patricks. I learnt to take care of myself and be independent. It was truly a great time.
