Amazing place with good food and out of the world staff

Superb place if you are looking to spend time in the beach and not always in the room. It has small rooms with attached bathroom. Not really clean. But I loved the place. Its right on the beach. 5 stars for the location itself and their food is like how heaven must taste like.

It was a lovely experience. The food is awesome. Perfect combination of good food and scenic location. The management and staff is very good. Sonu has been very supportive and helpful.

Nice Location on the beach. AC room has just bed and plywood table. More focus on money than the service. No toilet kit, no room towel, no AC remote, no hot water. Shower was leaking. Outside of the pakka rooms are clean. Food and breakfast is good. Service takes time, but that is expected on the beach. So better order 15 mints early. You can opt for some better other property.

It was one of the bad experience I had. Made my booking through bookings.com for new year. After reaching there, realised there was not a single room available there and we were given servants cottage which was unclean and smelly. I wont recommend at all.

Upon checking in staff kept our passports and advised they would only give them back once we had checked out. We were happy to pay our accomadtion and any bar tab as we went but they refused to give them back. One of the staff members even remarked about burning them if we had an issue with it.The manager was very unhelpful with checking us out early. We booked through an app and the hotel refused to call the customer service line. We sat the phone for 20 minutes trying to ring through. Once through the customer attempted to call the hotel but the manager insisted he had recieved no calls. Only once we had put him directly through to the company was he willing to have a conversation with us. From the beginning we advised we were happy to pay our first night but he wanted a full payment.Sadly we fell ill the following day after the restaurant which seems to go hand in hand with our poor experience.

Awesome place to hang out with friends... Quite far from Baga /Calangute Beach... Can go walking to Mandrem Beach in the mornings which will be around 2 kms... Great food with very friendly hospitality.... Those who are looking for some different places apart from the regular ones like candolim, baga, calangute etc are recommended for Arambol Beach cocks Town...

Food is okay, service is slow. Caters very nicely to foreign tourists, Indian tourists are charged the same but service is bad towards them.

We went to celebrate New year..we halted there for dinner but meantime we had Very bad experience. Manager fought with us with group of their people.he(very unprofessional) was just about to break a bottle in my head because of minor misunderstanding...plz be careful before making of any deal for accommodation and dinner. Great experience staying here 5 nights. Good accessibility to the beach, some rooms are 2m from beach. Menu variability also extravagant, many specialities. I particularly liked Indian specialities like paneer butter masala with cheese garlic naan, good herbal teas. The staff is very friendly, owner can give you anything youd wish. Feels like paradise, with the sea view room. Nice place to sunbathe and view sunset. Coming back again.

Only best thing about this sack is its near to seashore there are three different types of hotels one is hut which is nothing but a hut made with dried palm leaves and another one is normal room which is non AC and have only one fan which is useless since it stopped working and next one is A/C which is somewhat ok. Moreover I got to see some maggots in the bathroom water while taking shower. So stay in Ur own risk two stars becaz price was cheap and near to seashore

Stay was good,problem started after we ended the trip,the receptionist thakur ji started harassing my friend after we got back from our trip since he had her phone number,asked for her pics and sent her inappropriate messages.such a shame .reply to the owner : it was the guy named thakur one with long hair who is even in the photos,he has since apologised for his behavior and his behavior while we were there was very proffesional, so dont know how to process that ,its just a sad and unfortunate incident

Ive been living here in Goa from past 6 months and never saw something as pathetic as this restaurant. Food quality was below average and the crew is rude and aggressive. They carry really unprofessional attitude. Worst experience ever!

I visited Cocks Town in December 2017. I stayed in the AC room in the high season. The room was affordable, clean and right on the beach. The location was perfect and the rooms were comfortable. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. They were always quick to help me whether I needed soap, clean sheets or even an extra bed. The food at Cocks Town is healthy, delicious and authentic. I had everything from Indian vegetarian food to Italian pastas to Sweet Treats. I did not eat anywhere else because the food was so consistently good. I would recommend any of the fresh fish BBQ, palak paneer, the salads are amazing, lemonana or hello to the Queen. The owner always greeted me with a smile and was helpful whilst i was navigating around Goa. He arranged transportation for me. The whole staff became like a small family for me and I will be returning next year. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant to my friends and family. OM NAMAH SHIVAYA

I strongly advise against this place (hotel and restaurant) ! Water breaks every mornings and evenings, no water in the shower and sink! And it’s very dirty, the sheets are not changed...The owner is just interested about money and doesn’t matter about customers !! He always answer in five minutes but he never do !!! I didn’t understand the coments and I learned that when customers ask for WiFi, he wrote himself comments ! Because the place was empty all times !! So don’t go there, there is so much nice places in Arambol beach. The best to eat Olive Garden and Triple Nine.

The cheapest cabins are not as comfortable but the staff justifies everything very friendly and make you feel at home the most equipped cabins I saw that they were very comfortable

The only advantage ... the location at the foot of the beach!The room and the toilet were absolutely not clean ... the shower did not work, we had constant water cuts. The sheets are not changed. And the owner has absolutely nothing to do with it. He is absolutely unhelpful, lying repeatedly to avoid having to help.He does not pay his staff and when customers ask for the wifi code, he takes the phone to enter it himself and takes the opportunity to post good comments about his establishment on various sites.

Loved Cockstown. We come not the first time. All very kind and friendly. Delicious cuisine.The price matches the quality.

The Cocks town .... what an adventure! I strongly advise against this hotel (I did not try the restaurant).Very warm welcome from the manager. Only, once you are housed, you are nothing more than cattle! We stayed here for a few days, a party of 6 out of 2 rooms.That of my friends had no more water in the evening, until the next day, and this every day. The main bulb in the chamber has burned out. Either way, the boss is not interested. My bed was wobbly, back pain required. I noticed, by staying a little after checking out, that the sheets were not changed (having said that, I noticed by their smell when I arrived).Besides, my friends learned that they had to leave their room ..... when a team of painters arrived to start the work!I learned at the end of the stay that he sometimes did not pay the people who work for him, and that Mr. The boss likes to take the customers phone to enter the Wi-Fi code ... and that he puts positive comments on the hotel! So at least half of what you read is not authentic 😉Good luck, and the wheel turns!

A testimonial about a neck on a beach, but not about a guesthouse. Disgusting attitude to customers! If the owner finds that you have not ordered enough, the chaise will immediately be paid. And if you refuse to pay, for a free chaise, you will be kicked out with shame and shouting.
