Staff are extremely nice and answered all the questions I had without making me feel bad about not knowing things. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was great too, music was a different take on a Mario classic, and upon leaving the sound of Mario leaving an area played. Best game shopping experience Ive had in a while. Excellent customer service with a newly expanded Shop! If they dont have a game on the shelves ask someone at the counter, they have more games than they display due to not having a case. I snatched a copy of spyro 3 for PS1 for only 10 dollars! Thank you press start 🙏

Absolutely love how knowledgeable and helpful the employee was! They had a pretty awesome selection at a decent price. Really glad he wasnt just out to make a buck too. I was considering purchasing a Nintendo gun, but he informed me that they only work on the old style tube tvs. Ill wait on the gun until I manage to dig up an ancient TV from my storage unit!

Bought an Xbox 1S and two controllers on two separate visits and the Xbox doesn’t connect properly. Won’t play sound, only picture. Three HDMI cords tried. Neither controller I purchased works properly either. Tried to take one controller back (because I tested the waters with response,) and was told it was my fault the controller didn’t work. AFTER I purchased two Xbox cords FROM THEM to troubleshoot. Neither cord worked. I wouldn’t purchase anything from here. They say they do a quality check on their product then sell it and blame the customer that it doesn’t work. I purchased all this stuff for my nephew and even explained this on multiple occasions. I may be the only one screwed over but I know I won’t be the last. Not by this company. Might be just my luck but I don’t believe they “quality check” anything. And when you argue that, it’ll be time wasted and your waste of money.My experience and my opinion.

My favorite small used games shop to look for old retro games. They frequently have something rare and interesting to check out and its worth going here just to see what they have it, even if just for the nostalgia trip! Employees are very knowledgeable and the right kind of turbo nerds to bring your old game questions to. I recommend this place to anyone rebuilding their childhood game collections!

Wow! Have never gotten so much trade-in or sell value for my games and accessories until I visited Press Start Games. The guys here were willing to help me and answer any questions I had, and were completely honest. This place is a must see for those who enjoy gaming.

Fairly gave me trade-in value for my old Xbox 360 games and controllers. Learned that sports games dont hold much value beyond the year they were made. Lots of surplus for those so dont expect much value for a trade-in. Very knowledgeable and kind personnel who are also responsive to customer questions. Would recommend to others to trade in their old gaming systems, games, and controllers!

This is a great video game store with a wide selection and many retro as well as new games. They have consoles, controllers, everything that you need for sale. They also resurface disks, which is something that GameStop doesnt do. I went there just yesterday and bought a PS2 controller, as well as got an old PS2 game resurfaced. It was all scratched up and would take an eternity to load, or crash in certain areas of the map (NFS Most Wanted). They resurfaced it for 3 bucks, and it looks and works like new. Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, and Im definitely planning on coming again. Top choice for a video game store.

The shop is well organized and has an array of older games, accessories, and devices. I was super happy to find two hard-to-find DS games at good prices, but it wasnt just niche games, they also were well stocked on classics for a variety of systems. The employees were pleasant and helpful. Even the door chimes were charming.

We were told about Press Start Games by an employee at Gamestop while we were looking for a Wii and we werent disappointed. From NES to PS4/5 and Xbox one/Series X they have it all. We got a Wii (All cords included), two remotes, and Wii Sports Resort for a very affordable price. They were out of Wii Sports at the time but we will come back for it. I am a young kid who can appreciate relics of gaming history and this place has it all. Not only do they have a large library, the customer service is amazing! The employees seemed like they really wanted to best for us and knew what they were talking about. This is the best place to go for your gaming needs!

I recommend this video game store to anybody. They will buy games during covid which helped me get rid of my DS games. Apparently my Mario game : Bowsers inside story for DS was 8 dollars and rare. I like doing Store credit incase I come and dont have enough money so I can use store credit. Very friendly people and very helpful

This is always my first go-to when Im looking for a game or some kind of collectible.Ive bought well over a couple hundred dollars worth of N64 merch from this place as well as other gaming merch! The prices always seem great, they always answer their phone, (Rather quickly at that.) and the staff is always friendly, great people honestly.I cant say anything about their trade prices as I dont sell my gaming stuff but theyve got to make money too so dont go in expecting them to pay you 100% of whatever you might see online.Id recommend this place to any retro gamer or any gamer in general! This place is great and I would absolutely love to see it grow into a chain. Best place since Mega Media Exchange! 99% of my business will be done here. The other 1% is incase the store doesnt have the game/collectible Im looking for and I see it someplace else. Will definitely keep going back! :)

The Fox Valley has three splendid video game stores. I am always impressed with this store. I always leave with some game overall. They are great staff, lots of clean stuff in store.

Clean and well organized, the staff is polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. I asked the tall guy (sorry, I forgot his name) if they had a game, he said yes and gave me info about it, I went about my shopping and when I went to check out the other guy (sorry, I dont know his name) told me the tall guy already had it ready for me. Which was very nice. I would highly recommend them.
