Had read great reviews on Google and am staying in the area for a few days so I thought I would try it out. Went later on a Sunday and it wasnt that busy. Employee taking my order was friendly and said the fries would be a good choice. I ended up with 3, yes 3, sides. I also got both the brisket and pulled pork. Theming of restaurant towards our military and first responders is pretty cool. The portion sizes of meat arent huge. The brisket was super moist with good flavor, but is oak smoked. I prefer mesquite myself. It was still better than most brisket that Ive had. Pulled pork was good, but I had several ends that were very dry. The Collards were good and mac n cheese good, but runny. The seasoned fries were excellent. They were freshly cooked and held up over the course of the meal. They have 6 sauces. They were all really good. Its hard to find BBQ where the meat, the sides and the sauces are above average. Mission does a good job with all three. May try it again during lunch and compare. Recommend for sure.
This place was very tasty and extremely patriotic. Had a sampler platter with pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken. Also had their green beans and fries. All the food was very well seasoned and the sauces available were very tasty.I went at noon and they pause everything to sing the anthem. It was the first time I see this. Their commitment to first responders and military is very evident.
Ive been here twice now, and I think it is my favorite BBQ place. The meat has a flavor I havent gotten anywhere else. The sides are good, and the service is quick and friendly. They have some outdoor dining which is nice because we avoid indoors with my medically fragile daughter. This usually means we eat in the car, so having covered outdoor seating a treat.
We each had a 2 meat plate. Hubby got the brisket and classic sausage. I had pulled pork and jalapeno cheese sausage. Was fun trying all the bbq sauces! Sides were delicious as well! Love the military vibe! (Being a Veteran myself)....there is a Veterans VIP club too....will get emails for gifts and freebies! Excellent place to eat!
If I could give this place more stars I would. The staff is so professional and kind hearted. The food is the best BBQ I have had in a very long time. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and good people. The atmosphere brought tears to my eyes. The amount dedication this place has to those that have served this country is amazing. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!
My new favorite out of the many BBQ restaurants in the area. Got the brisket the 3 times I went. Very high quality and tastes great. The pulled pork and sausage were really good too. The service was exceptional and my order was prepared quickly every time. I will definitely be back.
The whole vibe of this place is absolutely awesome!! The food is incredible and customer service is top notch. Theres no other restaurant like this one. Rob took our order and made sure we had a great experience.I was worried that my 5 picky kids wouldnt eat anything, but they all loved the food. My 9 year old asked if we could go back for her birthday and my 2 year old was dancing while eating. Even the military art work and photographs on the walls are fun to look at. We cant wait to go back!!
Being new to the northern Cincinnati area, I found an awesome place for BBQ. Mission BBQ is a great place for a meal. Since it was my first time, I tried the 3 meat sampler plate with cornbread. I got the Pull-Pork, brisket, and chicken. I was also able sampled 6 different BBQ sauces. These sauces represent the variety of the United States. The atmosphere was a tribute to the military and first responders. If I cant get my favorite Texas BBQ, then I will coming back.
This is some of the best BBQ I have had in a really long time. The give very generous portions, have a large selection of sauces, and some classic sides. The pulled pork with Memphis sauce and a side of Mac n cheese cant be beat. The atmosphere is very patriotic and lively, and the staff all seem pretty happy to be there.

The online ordering process sometimes leaves items out of the detail. Ive had issues twice but the staff always made good on it. I love the food, the people, and the dedication to our troups. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The moist brisket is wonderful and the NC pulled pork with Eastern NC vinegar sauce is delicious. The peach cobbler is perfect - even if I wished it had sweet whipped cream. They have 7 different types of sauce on the table with mustard and Nashville hot available by the ketchup packets. They also have a mayo based white sauce available at the counter. Fresh sweet tea, lemonade, bottle sodas, and Pepsi products....AND BEER
All was good. My beans were not piping hot though but fresh and authentic. Atmosphere was cool. As a veteran I appreciated the walls etc. The meats were on point. Sauce selections were plentiful and delish.
It was very delicious. The pulled chicken I ordered was very tender, not dry at all. The Mac and Cheese was also much better than other barbecue places.
Ate in Tennessee in one saw it today in Mason Ohio and it was must as good. Had the bbq shrimp and the brisket....super good! A place ran by vets....Great Place . We need in in Columbus...
We loved Mission BBQ! The staff were friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in and discussed the menu with us. They have clearly marked gf options and take it very serious. Everyone enjoyed their food. The chopped brisket was amazing! The environment is great too as its all about honoring veterans. So glad we drove out of the way to eat here!
Great food and customer service. I’m a stickler for great customer service. My husband and I have used Mission BBQ on four different occasions to entertain family and friends. It’s always a huge hit with everyone. We also eat here on those evenings when I don’t feel like preparing dinner. The baby back ribs, pulled chicken, sausage, turkey, Mac-n-cheese, green beans, salmon, peach cobbler are all absolutely delicious!
Generous meat portions on the pulled pork sandwiches. Fries and greens were good. No real sign of dark smoky bark on the pork and that’s a shame. Meat has liquid added to give it moisture ( and not talking about NC vinegar sauce but water) which I do not prefer. Okay overall but I’m unlikely to choose this as a BBQ destination.
Normally we enjoy going to mission BBQ but this trip was very disappointing as far as service goes. The staff was not as polite on this occasion. About five customers in a row including us they forgot to put an item or two on the trays. Then they would TOSS the trays onto the counter and call out the names when they forgot to put something on the tray they would just dump it onto the tray. Also there was a serious water leak around the self service beverage dispense area. The rugs were soaked and caused a very unsafe situation.
Cant say enough good things about this place. Great values and representation. Theyre focusing on the important things and being selfless and making sure a piece of the pie goes back to the men and women who give us our great freedom. Good portions and pricing for a barbecue joint. Would give it six stars if they let me, top three favorite restaurants
I had the smoked turkey. Love the variety of sauces on the table. I had their brisket baked beans, delicious. Cornbread with the meal was OK. I will return.
Our first experience rocked. I assume the assistant manager came out from over the counter and explained the menu to us. The let us take our time ordering. Our food came out hot and fast. I loved all the American support on the walls. Your my new favorite place, Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Catered my daughter’s wedding with Drew and his team at the Mason, OH Mission BBQ…it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We’ll planned, perfectly executed. Very reasonable prices, everyone at the reception loved it…I would highly recommend Mission BBQ for any event!
My family moved to Ohio from Maryland which is where Mission Barbeque was founded. We were already very familiar with the restaurant and Id forgotten it was so close to Cincinnati. We stopped in for dinner about 6pm and surprisingly it was not packed. I had forgotten how great the mac n cheese is. My husband loves the moist brisket and I love just about everything else. Lol! The servers were great. We talked to one guy who worked at the location we lived by in Canton, MD. Hed also opened several other locations in Perry Hall and several in Virginia. I love how they honor Veterans, since I am one.

What can I say? I eat here daily. Thats how much of love this place. Moist brisket calls to me in my sleep. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Portions are generous. Smokey Mt and Alabama White (behind counter) are my favorites. Turkey, jalapeno sausage, pulled pork and chicken, meatloaf, ....everything is perfect! Love you guys! Oh, and as a veteran, I appreciate the atmosphere, decor, and the National Anthem played at noon every day!
DELICIOUS BBQ!!! Everything had such wonderful flavor from the meats to the sides, and the sweet tea too! Wonderful concept of honoring our veterans, they even have veteran parking out front. The restaurant was very clean, staff was very friendly, I look forward to eating here again!
Went in for carry out. Service was very quick. My order was ready before I had my drink filled. I got both pulled pork and brisket. I am rating on texture and moisture. Smoke and seasoning is too subjective. The pulled pork was tender and not dried out. I tried the moist brisket and it was tender and moist. My pieces were heavy on fat. The corn bread was dry, but good. The green beans were spot on. The BBQ did not need sauce which is a good sign in my book. The only draw back is the portion size on the brisket. This is good chain BBQ.

When you pull up and see the huge truck its impressive! Inside very patriotic to support our Vets, anyone within Gov fighting for us or fought for us and our local law enforcement and fire. Fantastic place for family or friends plus outdoor seating too. The food was fantastic and the staff was amazing!

We love the national atmosphere, military pictures, tv slideshows and pictures of young servicemen and women. But, best of all is the noon tribute to our country by playing the National Anthem when everyone stands, covers their heart and sings along!

We thought it was decent but not amazing. Ordered the market sampler with 3 meats (brisket, pulled chicken, and turkey)with a side of green beans and a pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. The brisket was very dry despite them asking if you wanted moist or lean brisket. The turkey and pulled chicken were pretty good. We liked the sides as well. Overall, the meats were all on the dry side to us. At least the BBQ sauces were good to help out with that! Prices are typical for BBQ. Outdoor patio area was nice.

Every rib joint Ive ever eaten at before discovering Mission BBQ has been pretty much hit-and-miss. The ribs would be great on one occasion, then the next time I went back, not so good. So far, this has happily NOT been the case with Mission BBQ. Ive eaten their ribs on at least 10 occasions and theyre consistently great. Whenever Im in the mood for ribs, I dont even think of any other BBQ restaurant to get them at.
Amazing customer service, and even better food! They played the national anthem and the whole restaurant stood up—something you don’t see often! Thought it was admirable seeing strangers unite together. Awesome place, and delicious food! If you like spicy, ask for the Nashville hot BBQ!

Not one person behind the counter was wearing a mask. Not a place I would return with a child under 12. Tons of options in this area. Public safety not a concern at this establishment.
This place is awesome. I understand why the Cleveland Browns legend Joe Thomas raves about the food there. I myself had the brisket the first time I went and I will gladly say I was extremely impressed. Additionally, I went at right at noon and I will say this actually impressed me a ton no matter what at noon the employees ever day stop what they are doing a take a minute to sing the National Anthem.
They catered my wedding and did an amazing job. The staff was wonderful and the man that coordinated it was very efficient. I went back today as a customer and it was awesome. Smiling staff, clean restaurant, and great food!
Brisket was great!!! If you dont like fat, I would order it lean. The collard greens were wonderfully flavored as well! Ive had better barbecue, but it was from a local stand and everyone knows they are typically much better. I will be eating here again.

Misson BBQ has catered to my company a few times. Food is always excellent!However, the reason for my review. I saw a post on Facebook with everyone (customers & employees) standing for the National Anthem. I googled if all locations do the same. I was pleased to find the ALL locations do this at noon. I will now support this location as much as possible when in the area, especially at noon.
A very welcome sight in the neighborhood as we were lacking in this style of food. The choices here are different than what I am used to. Everything seemed to be cooked perfectly. The absolute best item was the peach cobbler. It was to die for. Then there is the decorations dedicated to first responders and military. I was brought to tears by the sight of the empty table display. When I started to leave I noticed a specific area dedicated to Colerain Officer Dale Woods and Clermont County Deputy Bill Brewer. I attended both of their funerals and the sight brought me to overwhelmingly wanting to support this place. Never have I seen this level of patriotism in a restaurant.

This is the one of the best fast-casual restaurants Ive ever had. We tried corn bread, baked beans, mac n cheese, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and the aloha ribeye. Everything was tender and had great flavor. The portions were big and service was good. If there was any room for improvement it would be the classic bbq sauce was too spicy for my kids (there were several other options though).
Went to the Mason location Saturday around 7 pm. It was pretty busy. Ordered our food and it took maybe 10 minutes. My spareribs and her pulled chicken were cold. Seems like both meats were not being staged in a safe keep warm environment. Maybe it was just a fluke based on seeing other ratings being so high. Overall, disappointing.
Carole and I enjoyed the fast service, very good food, and casual atmosphere. Small friendly space, decorated in a country casual with lots of military memorabilia. Olivia was very friendly and gave us lots of upbeat info about Mission BBQ. Its not particularly close to us, but well be back. The Carmel Apple Cobbler was off the chain. The brisket was also quite good, loved the Grannies Sweet Potato Mash and green beans and bacon. All around good meal.
Hands down the best BBQ place Ive ever been to. Im from South Carolina and half my family lives in Kansas City. Good BBQ is in my genes. Mission BBQ is AMAZING. The types of the meat they offer is quite high and the food is just so perfect. Better than the food though is the staff.Ive always thought that Chick-fil-A had some of the nicest and most helpful people but the folks at Mission BBQ give them a run for their money. They are attentive without being over the top or pushy. They seem to really care for their customers.
Great first visit! Called in to place a takeout order. (No drive thru window, the one you see as you enter to the right side is for the Starbucks which is attached)The food is made once you arrive to pick it up, which only took 2-3 mins. for it to be put together. Everyone at the pick up area was very polite. Dedicated pick up parking also.The food was great! Tried the Chopped Brisket, marinated in Memphis Belle with a serving of Maggies Mac-N-Cheese. The brisket was well cooked and evenly coated with sauce. Not greasy nor overly dripping in sauce, which was nice as it does not make a soggy sandwich and was clean to eat and didnt fall apart. Mac N Cheese was good as well. The Jalapeno N Cheese Sausage was not overly spicy it had a good amount of jalapeno and cheese inside of the sausage with good flavor. Fries were made well and had a good taste.
Feels like home on top of quality bbq, never been so happy to eat and the seasoned frys are the best.

Food was tasty and wonderful. Our youngest finished a full kids meal which usually doesnt happen. Most of the staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping me from giving them all 5 stars is the take out packing was lacking.

So much to say about this location first of all the food was amazing always is every time I stop at a location and the customer service was absolutely hands down awesome I could not have asked for a better experience from the staff to the food and new sides they introduced to us that we had not tried before I will definitely recommend the Mason location to all my friends family and customers ! Pulled chicken wasnt anything to write home about. My partner really loved the pastrami, though. We might go again, but i will definitely try something different. Employees seemed to be exhausted and apathetic.
I went to Mission BBQ for lunch today. It was my first time there, but it wont be my last. Everything I ordered was delicious. I had the brisket and fries. I got to sample the macaroni and cheese and the banana pudding. Everything was excellent including the customer service. A young lady named Olivia was so nice and made us feel welcomed. Thanks for a great experience.
Great service, Rob took good care of us! BBQ was good, sorry I am bias to my own! I dont feel there is a BBQ restaurant that make any BBQ as good as mine LOL 🤣 I am very piticular when it come to BBQ!
