Place is a old Portugese style construction. The rooms are also old style but has all the amenities. Breakfast was good. Place is mostly occupied with foreigners. Overall it was a nice and unique experience.Note: If you are looking for a luxurious resort then dont go here.

We stayed here for 7 days and felt very warm, welcomed and homely. It is a beautiful heritage home and property with cottages that look like a hobbit movie set! The host makes you feel at home and lets you enjoy the space. Its location makes various cafes and restaurants very accessible. However we enjoyed a very homely breakfast the cook made us everyday. Very green , well maintained and clean property with big rooms.See you again soon Laguna Anjuna 💜💜

Best place in all of North Goa if you wish to stay in old goan cottage type accommodation. Amazing landscape exteriors coupled with cozy cottage interiors. The plus point was that its a pet friendly resort. Anyone who wish to travel with their fur baby, I would strongly recommend them this place. Staff were very polite and helpful. Plus its located quiet centrally to all the party places and beaches.

This Bar inside a 150 year old Property in Anjuna is a gem. Everything in this hotel is worth watching. Checkout the room video and I bet theres hardly any hotel offering such a huge room, beautifully dome shaped built decades ago. Height of the room would be around 20ft or more.Swimming pool here is actually huge and 9ft deep adding its charm to the property.Owner of the Property insisted to have breakfast inspite of next day early checkout and it was indeed the best thing. Forget those fancy hotel buffet this one was unique and everything was made to order at your desired time.They also have scuba diving classes in afternoon.A lot to say about this property but I would rather let you people experience. Laguna Anjuna is very quite yet happening place. One can find the solitude and get social with other tourist as per choice. The ambience is very authentic and brilliant. It gives you eutopian feeling but very humane. Can definitely recommend this place who are searching for bit of solitude and slow life.

We had booked from bookety as it was a last minute booking and when we reached there the person at the reception said we have no such booking. After a wait of 20-30 mins the person showed us the room which was not clean at all, infact so dirty that the mosquito net over the bed was literally lying on the bed and not hanged up. When asked the person about a different room or atleast to make up the room and then provide he straight away told that it was the last room and to make it will take more than an our. We had travelled that day from south goa, exhausted and hungry as hell and this is the hospitality that we received from the hotel. We obviously didnt stay there and had to travel more further to Baga for our stay.

If you planning for relaxing weekend in north Goa then stay option at Anjuna Laguna resort is highly recommendable.Resort is located near to Anjuna beach and has its own vintage style which is truly comforting to nature lovin people.Hospitality from the staff members was truly appreciating.Rooms were neet and clean. Food was satisfactory too. Must try Goan bhaji, which is one of the breakfast item .. It was minimal spicy with power packed flavours.Thankyou for making our stay worth remembering .

Very big place. Its got a huge swimming pool. The restaurant has got indoor games like pool and Foosball.Interior is more like old Portuguese renovation.Many cosy Cottages in the back.You can carry your drinks from outside as well as food if youre just there using the pool.Charges 100 INR per person (only applicable if you use the pool)Overall loved the place vibe. Location is remote so you have your peace to chill.You can see a lot of birds, I caught sight of the Paradise Flycatcher.

The resort is oky , beware that in rainy season the water comes inside the room from celling, otherwise the resort is awesome , have swimming pool also .

Well I have never been so happy. Perfectly situated, you can walk to the beach, into town or another longer walk to the party beach, but you are far enough away not to be bothered by loud boom boom. Stayed in the Dome room where I slept very well & had the most fantastic dreams. The half sunken bath was a great feature & a dressing room. To our right was the reception with happy staff & to the left the bar & restaurant. The owner is a very charming gentleman who clearly is in love with what he has accomplished here. Breakfast is a must by the pool, I sat there enjoying the food, staff & view while plotting the day. The food is very good & so is the selection of drinks. The Jam is wonderful & home made, the fish fresh & tasty the vegetables perfectly cool & the meat delectable. This place lets Anjuna & Goa come to you rather than have it thrown in your face like many of the other places here. There is a wonderful dog that lives there & enjoys the company of the fellow guests. If you are lucky enough to be there when Mr Hamilton From UB40 plays there, he may join you for a dance. This is the perfect place to discovering India & should be you base when you start your journey

Good hotel with swimming pool

The hotel sits on a huge tree covered property which also has a pool and is serene and just beautiful. And the hospitality is unparalleled. The owner and staff made us feel so special and like home at the same time. Can’t wait to go back

Just had an enjoyable 3 day stay at this fabulous retreat.A bit of a hidden gem and far better than your run of the mill hotel you get these days.The hotel is built around an original Portuguese building with the owner over the past 20 odd years building authentic stone built chalets in Portuguese style, all air conditioned.Amenities include a lagoon style pool in the garden with many fruit and local plants and trees including a very old mango tree.There is a pool table and piano in the main building complete with a fully stocked bar.The restaurant food is excellent and on friday nights local reggae star of UB40 fame Graeme Hamilton plays live plus a good variety of Reggae music, a superb night with added BBQ.Can only recommend this hotel, with the beach only a 15min walk, plenty of bars and restaurants also all important ATM machines all within 15mins.Staff are excellent and tentative to guests concerns and advice.

Loved the experience and especially cleanliness of the room we stayed in. Nice location in general.. You can use pool to swim and sunbathe. And the staff was always helpful and nice

Hotel is a resort type. So expect to walk around their garden and the pool side. And enjoy activities. The rooms are very very nice. Bit on the traditional theme side. Albet very big and spacious. Very much recommended.

One of the quaintest of places Ive ever visited. Laguna Anjuna has an old world charm to it, that isnt seen anymore. Every room in the property is unique. Round in shape and made with exposed stone. Some of the room have a rounded roof with a sunlight cap on top which filters the morning sun in a beautiful display of color and light. The background music is primarily of a reggae beat. The food is a mix of Eastern and Western cuisine, with the local cuisine too. The pool is huge and uses fresh water. The place is ideal for a nice romantic dinner. And for those who like it peaceful...

FANTASTIC..... nestled in lush greenery this is a must stay.. the place has everything one would expect from a 4 star property, in fact even more.. a beautiful pool, amazing rooms and a smile from every staff member. Stayed for 2 nights which extended to 3 courtesy the charm of this place. The food is fantastic and all the places are in vicinity... It is a welcome break from the over crowded and over commercial concrete properties around. Perfect getway.. thank you guys for making the trip memorable.. looking forward to my next trip and highly recommended to those planning theirs..

This wont exactly meet everyones taste for a resort. This is for the adventures whod prefer a slow life, with an infusion of the Goan spirit and wont mind the natural (read wild) environment or seclusion. Its a great place for group of couples or group of young women and men. Did I tell you that the proprietor and the staff are wonderful?Oh and their game room / bar is phenomenal.

This resort is located close to the Anjuna beach. The place is nice and decent, with good service and good, big and clean rooms. The swimming pool was also clean and quiet big. The place is off the main road, so is quiet. With lots of greeneray, it feels good to live among the nature. The breakfast options however were on the lower side, this area can be improved. Definitely recommended

You have to bargain and be ready to walk away if they dont meet your price. Nice goan style cottages with amazing staff and great food especially the Goan Thali. The bathroom in my room was so pretty with green walls and its copper sink unit. A real pleasure to stay their.

Its a beautiful place to come and unwind. The rooms are quite big and spacious. There is a big sitting area attached to the room. The bath size is also quite spacious. The place is calm, quite and serene and very close to nature. But because it is so close to nature, there are many insects so keep yourself covered. The room service that we ordered was excellent. Its a good place to chill with friends and family. Anjuna beach is a 10-15 minute drive, so is Chapora fort. There is nothing that is walking distance.

My stay here was memorable....the vibe is rustic and in the woods, the cottages are clean and cosy and place is very peaceful..the pool side is quite refreshing....and amidst greens

The rooms are nothing like what they look in pictures. They are old and not very clean... Air conditioner does not function smoothly. And bathtub shown in the pictures are just a part of the bathroom sectioned out with a short wall.. Thats where you need to stand to bathe, and you cant imagine lying down and soaking in the water there. Breakfast was horrible... It was far from tasting good and everyday, they had the same spread. Btw, tea bags had mould on them! The pool had worms and insects in it.. Giving two stars only for the lush greenery...

The atmosphere of the old Portugese ***or house and the rooms are interesting and l felt like l had landed in a game of Myst or Riven. The laid-back, free-spirited vibe at Laguna makes it easy to meet interesting people from all over of the world. Breakfast was included. Have a nice trip.

Good for couples or group of friends. The pool is painted and not tiled. On the grass cables and tubes r visible which is kind of scary to lay on. The bungalows are very nice with sufficient room and wel equipped. Stay here if you can tolerate insects and lizards and hens.

Each day the rooms were cleaned well and well decked up before we arrived in the evening. Rooms are big a lovely designed though it neeeds some attention in the finishes. The rooms had very thin walls so when our next door neighbour decided to entertain at about 1am we heard everything that was going on.

Very clean, very spacious rooms. Its a beautiful resort and great for getting away. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious although service was very slow.Its a 15-20 min walk to the beach. If youre not feeling up for the walk, there is also a fairly big pool available for guests.Its kind of noisy at night with the sounds of animal and the Goan raves going on in the distance. Not a deal breaker but something that takes a few nights to adapt to as a city dweller.If youre ever in Goa I would highly recommend this resort!

If u want to experience heritage Portugal style property then go for it. Its not a modern stay resort but restored property. Personally liked it as location is fantastic and Friday night with live band is cool.

A calm and pristine stay! A nicely maintained property with friendly staff, rooms and atmosphere. Food and drink options could be improved for the price mentioned.. Mainly the portions. A decent Buffet breakfast is offered. Brilliant pool side view restaurant. Bikes and car rental services are available on request just outside the hotel.

Location wise great and you can rent vehicles just outside the hotel. I recomend hiring a scooter or motorbike as you get to see goa for what it is and experience it all without having to stop only where a driver wants to. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxed vacation in Anjuna.

I was here early in the season and it was a bit quiet. Check out the Kashmiri nick nack shop nearby. Friendly service from the family run gear shop.no more tick though

This place is close to anjuna beach. The property is tucked in,..we were there sometime during the monsoon..and once you are inside the property, you are away from all the chaos.... Portuguese style rustic rooms with surrounded lot of trees.. they have a huge pool, well maintained.... complementary breakfast is not so good , but otherwise the food is very good..

Pethetic food. We stayed for two nights. But there is a sad feel inside the whole hotel. Staff was unprofessional. Our breakfast was included but they doesnt have much options. Even there is no cleaning. Otherwise the look of the hotel is great. Very ethnic and earthy but huge maintaince is needed.

Laguna Anjuna is beautiful blend of laid back style, with all the ammenities. AC was not working. The hotel itself is 10 min walk from the beach and the main bars and restaurants and if you are too lazy you can rent a bike in front of the hotel. Dont spend too much time in your villa as Anjuna and the surrounding areas are so much fun to explore on a little rented moped which ypu can hire from the hotel for £2-£3 per day.

This is my 1st review although Ive stayed here plenty of times. So this time I stayed in L-cottage, which treated us very nicely. The stay was pleasant nd peacefull like always. If ure looking for peace then this is the place to be, Love this place.. Will definitely be here very soon.

Laguna Anjuna is a decent place to stay for people who want that feeling of staying amidst nature. The food is great right from the seafood to the steaks (Chicken Steak with Pepper sauce in particular) as well as my all time favourite Crepe Suzette. The staff was very welcoming and polite.

Really enjoyed staying here! Tried to get away from the madness at Vagator beach and really enjoyed the stylish rooms, very spacious, beautiful surroundings, get a scooter and discover the island. The owner recommended us many nice restaurants and places to go! They all turned out great!

My room had a lovely double bedroom, but the real bonus was the attached sitting room. Thankyou to Raj and the Colombian guy (haha) and staff for sharing your good times. Great location away from busy road car fumes and noise. A good place to arrive in anjuna and perfect for families.

The staff were all very attentive and friendly. We love the rustic decor and washed walls. The rooms are in huts that are quite large for the price you pay. I enjoyed the hotel very very much and highly recommend it for those who seek adventurous feeling rather then luxury.

Lush, tropical atmosphere with spanish architecture made this hotel a pleasure to visit. Polite and friendly staff really make a difference. The buffet breakfast is really good. Only the basics of the continental breakfast but it is enough. Lots of vegetarians options are available and the beer is chilled to.

Friendly staff made this place like home. Service is by far the best I have had. Not a nice sight in the morning specially after the cleaning wo*** wiped ur feet while eating but didnt bother to pick up the garbage under the table and it was already after 9am.

Beautifully designed and laid out. Very nice owner who was on hand to chat. Bathrooms need to be updated a bit. Pool had a lot of leaves and plant matter.

Lovely place, quiet and the ambience makes it more fantastic with the deco of the rooms, the food is so tasty. Pity i could not have fish they did not serve because of the issues. Good place to have fun time with family

Close to Nature

Very clean and spacious accommodation at a reasonable price. Close to the beach but not too close either. Conveniently located to visit lots of nearby attractions. Air conditioning in the room is a blessing considering Goa weather. Would recommend a stay here.

Descent place to stay. Dont expect facilities like 5 star. However you can definitely expect some raggae music.early check in,late check out etc.The guys are cooperative and helpful. :)

I have been to this resort in Oct 2015 and had very good experience. Though the rooms are a bit retro type, the pool, staff and food is really awesome. This place so very quite and peaceful away from city. I surely recommend this resort.

Place is descent but over charged. Staff service is good. Confirm your reservation twice before going, get owners contact number and directly have a word with him for confirmation. Breakfast options are very limited. Approx. 2 km away from sea.

A beautiful property!! Very rustic and laid back...beautiful mud/brick houses....the only thing it requires is the owners personal attention..this property needs special and personal nourishing to keep going!!!

My experience of this resort was absolutely horrendous. Rarely you get to see this kind of atmosphere in resorts as it is difficult to ***age to serve different people with their individual needs. Room: The rooms were full of crawlers and these insects were falling off the roof all day long.

Rooms and interiors seem antique. Good place but far inside from the main roads . Road to this place is very narrow and hardly a car can go in it . Night drive to this place is a bit difficult though . Above all you will feel the nature with lots of trees at this place . Things to rememberRestaurant orders will take 2 hours .Carry a Odomos .

Nice stay and worth the money. The room was spacious. There was water leakage from roof when it rained. That was the only one demerit.
