This powerplant has got excellent infrastructure and very good efficiency in generating electrical power. I went there as a trainee and I must say that the people here are very knowledgeable and really helpful.

Durgapur Steel Thermal Power Station is a coal-based thermal power plant located near Durgapur city in Bardhaman district in West Bengal. The power plant is operated by the DVC. The DVC is an Indian governmental organization under Ministry of Power, which operates in the Damodor river area of West Bengal and Jharkhand. DSTPS having generation capacity of 2x500 MW.

Dstps Power plant is located at Andal More... Big power plant project... But this area make very dust by the plant. But its megha power project that is very important for electricity... But their power not use for local area.. its used out side of west Bengal.. so very bed for local. But ok
