Thanks to Isabel for being to responsive and helping me secure a home! Great staff! Cute, tucked away property.
The front office was the greatest part about this apartment complex. Yvonne, the new manager worked with me everyday until I got the apartment and Angel provided a great in-depth tour of the complex! Great location and friendly staff made this move in a no brainer for me.
For the past two months, my friend and I have been in touch with the leasing agent, Ayana, in hopes of getting a unit there for the both of us. She has been so incredibly helpful throughout this entire transition and was readily available whenever something came up that needed our attention within the application process. I am beyond thankful for her hard work and dedication in assisting us with finding our new place to call home.
Yvonne is awesome, the service is great and on time.I have been here going on a year, and I love it.This new staff is amazing
The apartments have bugs which I have put in a service request for an no one showed up. They have a high turn over rate of employees so its hard to get ahold of anyone, the district manager is EXTREMELY rude and incompetent. Nothing is consistent, the pool is constantly closed, the front gate doesnt work and never opens locking you out of the apartment that you pay money to live in; and no one comes to fix it (Im assuming because no one works there long enough to get it taken care if).
I am currently living at thinkeast and I had a couple of issues that i tried to get worked out with the people who were in the office and it was like ok when we get to we get to it I was told that i needed to speak with Michelle never even heard of her but fortunately I did catch up with her and Michelle took care of my issues within like 20 minutes with a few phone calls.I truly want to thank her again for being an awesome property manager.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I REALLY HOPE YOU GET BETTER HELP IN THERE
I had a problem with my AC fan which caused my utility bill to strike up! I spoke with Jason the property manager and he was very helpful with listening to my problems and resolving them in a timely manner! Ayana the receptionist was very understanding and nice and answered every call of concern I had given. Thank you both, they are truly amazing!
I have spoken with Ayana 3 separate times over the phone to have more information including an application sent over email to me and she has yet to do so. I do not leave bad reviews but after 3 occasions it’s apparent you do not care. It’s part of the job so the “I’m so busy” excuse gets old. I just want an application.
I have had a great first experience working with ThinkEast! Jason and Ayana are super accommodating and kind. They where willing to work with me and my situation after taking several losses during the pandemic! Im excited to be part of the community!
Jason Carrillo, manager extraordinaire and maintenance guru Louie are on top of their game! Both are always friendly and eager to help. Jason seems to be turning things around and getting things done. Thanks for listening!Carly
Thinkeast manager jason is very helpful and kind he put everything to the side while helping me at the moment i walked into the office with my ledger . He was prompt and friendly got things done rapidly thank you jason 5 star manager and friend .
Hi, This is the PVT. Security tactical team supervisor, and I must say that its an honor to work with Mr. Jason and Ms. Michelle at the Thinkeast apts. We have been at Thinkeast for about a month now and we have been working together to fix the minor issues. We look forward to continuing to make everyone feel safe and comfortable at Thinkeast.
They won’t refund your deposit. After living there for 2 years I decided not to renew my lease ( because rent became unaffordable for me). After not receiving my deposit ( which was $828) 30 days after moving out, I’ve had to talk with management many times. They keep beating around the bush. They don’t want to give you your deposit back. I talked with 2 people yesterday. The first person I talked to said that I may not be getting a deposit back because I had a “rent” account and a deposit account ( no one mentioned that to me when I signed my lease). After showing her a copy of my lease, she says “your file is in a storage room and I have to get someone to pull it out so I can look at it”. I also talked with someone else the same day and he said that they have all of my paperwork (which I find crazy because the woman said that my file is in a storage room and they would give me a call today ( which I highly doubt they will). I really need my deposit back especially during a pandemic!!. I left my apartment clean too.If you want your deposit back when your lease is up and don’t want to renew it. DO NOT MOVE HERE.S/N: Anthony is cool. It’s the other ones I have a problem with.
Update after living here. Its completely disappointing living here. I have been having mold grow in my closet and after a month plus they still havent dont anything but take pictures. My family and I are breathing that in but I guess that doesnt matter, but they have the audacity to leave me a note saying my Halloween decorations violate my lease.. like what??! Ever since I complained about the mold Ive gotten a few lease violations. People are constantly moving in and out or moving apartments because of the problems they are not willing to fix. They would evict everyone than actually fix anything and it is sad. DO NOT LIVE HERE AND EXPECT TO BE RESPECTED FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY FOR TRASH.
This is truly the heartbeat of the dynamic East Austin corridor. We work here morning noon and night and absolutely love selling real estate in this area.
They are really nice.
The community manager, Anthony is truly a nice person. He always shows his undivided attention to residents concerns. His team has done a great job keeping the property clean. High Five!
I just moved in and wanted to thank Anthony and staff for being so kind, welcoming, and compassionate. When I walked through the leasing office door Anthony greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. He was very professional and got my application processed in a timey manner. Not to mention that he kept his word and followed up like he said he would. There is nothing like great customer service!!!
FUTURE GHETTO6 different managers in 1 year. My car has been vandalized. Its noisy (domestic disputes), and police are frequent visitors. No notice for fire drills. One fire alarm rang an hour... after the 2 alarm tests the day before.Trash, old furniture, and flies are all around the dumpster, but not in dumpster.Left notice during COVID-19, not to offer help but to make sure we knew ALL rent was still due. But see pics
Amazing office people. Beautiful property. My move in was very difficult because there was so many people involved. They helped me with everything in a timely manner and I am moving in today!
I hate this place
I moved in recently and have been so happy with how Michelle and the team have helped with any issue that has come up. She even responded to me on a Sunday with a hot water issue I had and it was resolved very fast. Thank y’all so much! Happy to live here.
I recently moved in and from the very beginning April the assistant manager has been extremely helpful and always very polite. The office is short staffed at the moment and April still manages to handle everything especially well for being so busy . I have also met her supervisor Dana and she was also extremely helpful as well . I am so excited to become a resident at this beautiful well kept property .(I think people need to remember that there are always 2 sides to every story . My interactions with the awesome Manager Dana and April have been awesome over the past 2 months )
Alicia Davis is awesome! From the first time I contacted thinkeast she has been nothing but professional and kind. Everything was done in a timely manner and was able to get me approved within the time frame I needed. As the first property that I contact I am very satisfied with Alicia. Also shoutout to Anthony who was able to help me also when she was either with another client, out on property or busy. These guys have awesome team work and let’s me know I’m in good hands at Thinkeast.
I loved the design of the property! Very clean, modern and new. The leasing office staff attended me right away and provided all the information required. The agent was very detailed and explained all paperwork necessary to apply. Going back soon to apply!
Thinkeast apts are amazing company i think them for all they did for me..very amazing staff..please keep doing an good job...

But I do truly Appreciate yalls help for everything so if you see me at the Bar, restaurant I gotz y.. but thank you all so much. Lu
Apartment units are really high quality and the complex is generally pretty quiet. Brand new everything & laundry machines in unit. Front office staff is nice & helpful. Approval process took a while but can be pushed along. Some processes are still being worked out as it is a new building..
Miss April and the entire leasing management team were outstanding! Although I ended up at another property, they provided myself & daughter a very patient, kind, timely, and customer focused experience! Thank you for all the help and we will certainly keep you in mind for the near future. Happy Leasing!
Decent pricing. Property information criteria sheet was helpful to determine qualification. Dana at the office was lovely, very sweet lady and knowledgeable.
I and several of my friends have tried to get an apartment here. The front office is extremely unresponsive, does not pick up the phone, does not return voicemail and does not answer emails. I am really looking to speak to the owners since I think they should know that their employees are ignoring interested parties. The apartments look great but I and several of my friends have decided against living here after the experiences with the front office staff.
Nice and new apartments! Approval process took a bit but it was worth the wait. Front office is busy but the staff are kind and want to help you through the process.Overall, I’m very impressed!
This apartment is a tax credit property and there is no mention of it on their website. After I filled out the form online, they promptly called me to set up an appointment to come in for a tour and still didnt mention anything about it being an income based apartment. I took the time to get there for the tour and only after filling out the preliminary application did the leasing agent mention that I do not qualify since my annual income is more than the qualified income bracket. The leasing agent apologised and said will talk to her management team to put this vital information on their website but I have yet to see it. And this was three weeks ago.I dont trust the management from this encounter I had and thus do not recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment.
Yes, the rent is low. But what’s with the high deposit? $883 deposit for a 1-bedroom. Like most low income housing, once you’re approved, it’s still a long wait. They’ll say “Can u move in March?” but they mean April, May, or August They don’t know. But when it’s ready, you better be ready to move in immediately. Kinda tough in Austin, a city where all apartment leases are 1-year leases. For once, I wish they’d just tell u the truth, even if it’s “we don’t know”
Never have I witnessed an establishment of such incompetence throughout the staff are used to work maintenance for this apartment complex and they missed treated me never gave me what I need to order material or keys for anything had me walking around the complex Monday through Saturday The office manager lied several times to the regional basically making it seem like it was my fault for work not being done or I would have work orders completed but she would not close them out unless I did so myself on top of having to clean and work the grounds and handle work orders that was all expected of me for very low pay. When I asked for a raise I was flat out told that I would not be getting any money ever from the company and so I turned in the fob that I had for the gate and told them I would look for a better opportunity elsewhere now that it is time to collect my last check I was given the runaround from the people in the office as of yesterday they had my actual check in hand and now I am having trouble getting paid I was speaking to the office manager yesterday about my check she could have let me know that it was there at the office and I would have picked it up politely and been on my way but she states that Dana the regional manager put it in the mailbox and my mail has came to my place already today and I have no check I have a family and kids to provide for and just because I chose to seek better opportunity with more money I am being penalized for the money owed to me!. I highly advise anyone interested in working for Atlantic or trying to move into pink east to seriously think of your other options because the office team are very rude and will not help you with anything and if you have an issue in your unit it will not be addressed .
The most intrusive unhelpful people I have ever worked with . It’s a tax credit property so they are going to want to know how many times you have had sex and where you attended the 7th grade . Communication is horrible an the amount of time it will take them to actually run an application.... idk it took them so long they never did it was over 3 weeks that they continuously needed 1 more thing then ... 1 more thing after that and that continued for weeks. I couldn’t have made a better decision going else where.
NOTICE: income restricted apartments. Wasted my time because it did not indicate it operates as an affordable housing unit. May I suggest some sort of notice on the home page of the website?
This aprtment helped me out so much. They pushed the process and got my little family in a home. I totally recommend tgis place. April and kinda were so helpful! Thank you
Not impressed with personnel. One woman in particular is very rude & unprofessional. This individual definitely should receive further training courses in customer service in addition courtesy, compassion and a smile.
There are some great things, but the bad severely outweigh them. I moved in about two months ago, and Ive had to visit the office countless times. The good:The apartment complex is new and has great amenities. The appliances are all updated, and the spaces are larger than most similarly priced locations. The maintenance man is awesome, always friendly and says hi.The bad:Management is changing all the time. The office has very poor communication. They tried evicting me because they messed up my payment portal and overcharged rent. They show a $1000 charge for no reason, and cant tell me when theyll change or remove it. They dont tell you the washer and dryer are separate monthly charge. They wont remove them from your apt. Youre required to pay and you cant bring your own (total scam). The only internet available is grande or AT&T both of which have poor package choices and are overpriced. If you live in building two, AT&T cant provide service because they dont have it in their system so its grande only. Theres a lot of construction going on around the complex that causes excessive amounts of noise, and planes constantly fly over to land at the airport.Overall:Very poor living choice, I would look elsewhere and have this at the bottom of my list.Update: their comment on my post cant even refer to me by my proper prefix even when I have a photo. PatheticUpdate 2: they have repeatedly given last minute notice of entry (less than 24hrs). Last time they entered my apartment they failed to lock my door when leaving. Because of this, my apartment was unsecured all day. Im glad I hadnt been on vacation or anything. Additionally, Ive repeatedly reached out to them for a response and theyve ignored me.Update 3: the new district manager Michelle Contreras speaks to residents like children rather than the adults we are. She is incredibly rude and disrespectful. She expects her demands to be met in less than 24hrs after leaving a nasty note on your door. There is no respect for our personal or working lives. I added a photo of the way the office speaks to residents. They often leave these notes at the end of the day so you cannot go into the office and respond until the following morning. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
This property is advertised as a gated community, however the gate has not been working for over 3 months. I was told by the office that they were waiting for a part. Also the eyesore of the front office that was rammed into by an unhappy resident over 3 months ago is still waiting for repair. No communications with residents about this. Meanwhile people are coming and going all times of the night and today we had political canvassers knocking on my door at dinner time!
Hoping to become a resident here. Beautiful apartments and great staff.
DO TO MOVE HERE. Maybe the worst managed apartment community in Austin. In addition to their terrible customer service they break several Fair Housing laws. They told my friends they could not get a two bedroom because they were dating. They told my other friend who wanted a two bedroom for himself that he would need a doctors note stating why he would need a two bedroom. You are not allowed to use any of the amenities. The pool, gym, and community lounge are never open. Like ever!!! I’ve tried to use the gym several times at various hours and it’s not been open once.I was told by the regional manager Dana that I was not allowed to even walk through the community lounge during business hours. Well, when can I use it because they lock it up at night? They only have one dumpster for 2 buildings. It’s insane. Trash is everywhere. This is another violation by them but nobody seems to care.Shayle the juggalette manager with tattooed clown eyebrows is maybe the laziest manager I’ve ever seen. Nothing gets done in the place. There has been puke and trash in the stairwell since I moved in. Don’t bother emailing or calling because they never respond.Oh did I mention someone fired a gun in there apartment the other night. Yup that happened. What did management do. Not a dam thing. I thought they at least had to pretend to care but they do not.If you like being treated like a juvenile delinquent who was sent away to reform school then this is the place for you. They live to make rules but have a really hard time just doing their job and not violating fair housing laws.
Heres the thing- Ive lived here since Nov 2018. The move-in date was pushed back continuously for months and consequently, I had to scramble to find a temporary living arrangement while the apartment continued to assure me 2 more weeks. Originally, I was supposed to move in July. Due to the lengthy amount of time it took for the apartment to finalize everything, I had to re-do ALL MY PAPERWORK. At this point, it had passed 90 days so the information that I gathered months prior was no longer valid. This is an income restricted apartment complex so the paperwork is entirely tedious. However, I did that and finally, I could move in. About 5 or 6 weeks into living here I was pleasantly surprised by a robust cockroach egg sack that had hatched and birthed an array of teeny tiny roaches on the ledge of my tub. Fast forward to now, and the secure gate often doesnt work. The online portal to pay your monthly rent is still not in working order. I have been paying in money orders for 8 months. My brand new 2nd floor apartment is infested with cockroaches, evidenced by the various sizes of bugs emerging from behind my stove. Because I have an out of state phone number, I am unable to utilize the keypad at the gate to allow my guests to enter. (In my opinion, this is a huge flaw, as Austin continues to become a transient up and coming city, so many people are moving from out of state). We are moving on to our 3rd manager in the mere 8 months this place has been open. My interactions with staff have been mediocre at best. There have been more stress inducing interactions and occurrences however, I dont feel the need to go on writing a novel. I am using this platform to alert others, present fact points of my experience living here and it may be vastly different from others that are living here. I am sure there are many people very happy with their arrangement here. I personally, will not be renewing my lease.Edit- i will say, the current assistant manager Destiny (i think? is her name) stands out as someone who can actually address the needs of tenants here.
Nice place , great price the girls in the office were very informative and friendly took time with me to fill out my paperwork . 👍
The staff in the front office are highly unprofessional. April (the manager or assistant manager is distastefully rude), God bless her heart and attitude because you can not expect to be valued, respected, or even elevate in that type of manner. They don’t answer the phone when you call , if not will send you straight to voicemail. The front office doesn’t try to help you with things you may have concerns about or are trying to get an understanding about. I’m a decent human being and I wouldn’t dare recommend this place to anyone just because of the lack of gratitude, exceptional customer service, and kindness from the front office. April, especially! Ps: nothing ever gets done in a timely manner, the garbage bin is always full and they only have one at that for whole entire apartment complex! I also look at it like this if you pay your rent, and pay it on time and be a good tenant then allow God to do the rest even when they don’t comply or aren’t compliant with tenants rights and fairness.I’m praying for them because my friend lives there and she totally regrets moving into those apartments.
The Mgr. There she dont have her s**t together i put in a for a apartment on April the 28 and she gave me the run around till may 9 then call me on the 9th of may at 3 pm. To fill out some more papers before 6 pm. Pr she was going to disguard my application
Ive have been in the apartments for past 4 months. It has been a very unpleasant stay ;to say the least. Office personnel do not react well with any concerns you may have. They always tell you that they will get back to you , but it is unlikely. When you go to office they make it seem like as if you are out of place with your concerns. Also, I was not told this was a Non-Smoking Community until ,I was signing my lease. They treat teanants from what I have heard and experienced wirh little respect.I have been reluctant to write a review because afraid of negative response i may get from office personnel..But If feel that people should be informed of their lack of professionalism and just plain old common courtesy. Teanants come to live in a these new apartments with expectations of having a great new start in their choice living area. But the down fall of not being able to get the service needed is big price to pay for new amenities.
Nice and clean for low income apartments!!!
Very upscale and newly built apartments
Did not choose this place for my new home, the apartment and rooms are tiny.
