Truly hostel atmosphere at Munnar. A big shout out to Shejir and thatha. Went there for a night; and ended up staying for three nights. Will be coming back!

The hostel is located in a quiet corner of Anachal (Its still considered Munnar) and has a beautiful ambience on the outside. You do need to climb a steep slope to get to the property. But it was worth it in the end. Especially for that hammock and the feeling of being in the middle of a dense jungle. The interiors are very basic, however, as one should expect. Wouldve loved a fan in the room though. The owner is pretty friendly as well.

The views are super nice! The place is just art. Its perfect to chill and enjoy the good company of Apu, the manager.

First of all Shaiju (owner) and Thata (cook) are awesome people and it feels like family. I loved that theres only 4 bed in the doorms so not too crowded, and in general not too many rooms so its not too loud and crowded. The FOOD!! Best food ever and in a really good price!! Laundry was also best I had in India. Loved the place.

Very beautiful place to stay also the staff is very friendly especially appu and uncle who served me home made south Indian food ❤️

Nazim the hoster is the most nice and caring hoster Iv ever met. He really care for the guest enjoy and safe. The food was really good, but they say that soon the orevipre sceff woman suppose to come back, and she is even better!The view is addicted

This hostel will forever hold a special place in my heart. Shay, one of the asociates, is awesome, funny and a great chef! I miss him since day one! Also Tata, the man who helps, is so kind. All food is cooked with so much love that its hard to leave.Aside from the food, the place is small and intimate which makes it a great place to meet people, both foreginers and keralans.If you arrive by bus check the route its taking because sometimes you go just past the hostel. ♡

Do NOT go here!!I must say this place had the most lovely elderly couple cooking the most deliscious food. Also, the location is great. But - the room was aweful!! When we arrived in the middel of the Night (which we had informed), one of the staff guys was sleeping in our room. We had been traveling all day and night and where exhausted when we arrived 03:30 but had to wait for that staff guy to wake up and leave OUR room and for the bed sheets to be changed - SO unprofessional. When we asked if they were going to clean the bath room as well, we were told that it was clean and had not been used - but it was DISGUSTING!!! The little amount of toilet paper that was left was completely soaked, and there was a very small peace of used hand soap left - why not give us a new one? Also, the bathroom floor was so dirty and full of Dark footsteps. The room was SO humid - our bed was literally soaked for 2 days - most disgusting feeling... and the room was filled with bugs + neither the bathroom nor the bed room had a trash bin for sanitary products.Also, the staff really wasn’t that helpful. Tried to rip us off when trying to book a trek and a Rickshaw. Definitely not recommending...

Located 10 km below munnar , nestled in just the right place ,away from busy traffic and noise , this little piece of heaven is the perfect place to chill... Weather hovers around 25 to 26 off season and during season it goes down to the perfect chillness that we look for in munnar.. the whole place is tidy, neat rooms, great home cooked meal for just RS 100 /person/night... Great cooking by munnuswamyanna and his wife...shaiju etan (owner) Cooks as well... His chicken Curry was awesome!! The entire staff is super friendly... We can chill with the other guests in the garden and have meals together... It was like we were chilling at a friends place... They have a branch in Kochi as well which was artsy and lit !!!!

No proper parking, and there is a 100mt climb upto the hostel. The place is pretty chill and so is the caretaker

Real hostel, but with separate rooms for 2 people. Room amenities. The view is magnificent (see photo). Quite normal for the price quality. Not Munar himself, but his tourist part. To the main city by bus or tuktuk. No wifi. Breakfast is edible. There were pancakes with coconut and tea. January 2020. Generally it is a network of 7 hostels. I about where I was. The parking is very small. Rather, a headland.

Good hostel for the site to disconnect although the blanket and sheets are very dirty. Garbage in a lot of quantity stuck to it and at the entrance of the room itself.The friendly owner.If it werent for the dirt I would recommend it. You have to do more to clean.

The man who cooks is wonderful, the house is very comfortable! The wifi works great! A very nice atmosphere
