This is the worst place I have visited you n Istanbul for the last 10 years! Location 10 Service -0 , Food -0 , staff - 0.Made a reservation two weeks before arrival and we had to wait two hours for a table, we sat at the table around 23:00 and at 23:45 the waiter come to us and said that we have 15 minutes to finish our dinner. We said to him that we have sat 40 minutes ago and the wait said I dont care you have 15minutesAfter that they took our food and table, and put the club tables , we asked him , can we stay here , he said yes we ordered some drinks and 20minutes after that another waiter come and said that we have to move , because the table is taken???? Wait, what?? Were are we suppose to go with our drinks and then he said I dont care , hold them in your hands.Then we left , we asked kindly the staff to call us a taxi and they said , the street is up there go and take a taxi.You cannot treat your customers like that. I would not recommend that place to anyone. Stay away.

Mostly restaurant give us bread for starter (free, we dont order) but in this restaurant they charge in our bill 50tl/ each (we dont order)

One of the best places in town. We had a table reserved for us and once we arrived the manager Bayrum was there to welcome us. He was just an amazing host. Our table was great location by the water as when the boats pull next to us for the patrons to come down. The atmosphere and view was the best I seen in Istanbul when it come to a bar.I will for sure vote this place highly on the list.The prices ppl might think high, but when you come here you should expect to pay for it as it worth it.

In the check they added a fee more drinks. When I told them to fix it, they were annoyed!!!It seems like a classy place at first glance, but it is overpriced and vulgar!

We called in advance to book a sea view seating and the phone clerk insisted that on arrival we need to request from the manager as we have a private table. On arrival multiple sea view seats were empty however we were not seated as requested as those were “reserved”. Terrible service and bouncers were rude and aggressive during a conflict did not assist and used strong physical power. As a tourist I do not recommend you visit this place IT IS NOT SAFE and as a tourist you will be treated differently!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing like the classy clubs we have in Dubai.

Amazing view!! Loved it, only the service was not great, they insisted us to pay a huge service fee? That’s so weird and rude. And outside they put fireworks on the ground which is SO DANGEROUS. Women wearing dresses with flammable fabric I was SO scared I was gonna set on fire I almost cried. They didn’t care.

Great food all the way around! Ruby does EVERY dish right! Its very trendy and in the downtown district. They are always booked so try and get a reservation. If you cant you show up right before they open and if they have a spot open up or a cancellation or can squeeze you in they will! They are top notch service here like fine dining! The Chefs are 5 star chefs serving up amazing food! They change their menu often and based on seasonal options. My fav pasta ever was the oxtail pasta, but I dont think they have that on their menu

Aweful service at the dining area, and they price you for it even if you sit 5mins while your friends eats. Ridiculously overpriced drinks. Never going back again.

Worst place. I don’t recommend zero hospitality.

Despite the beautiful view and great foods, I didn’t like the service and their ethics. First of all, I found an over charge in my recipe for an item (I ordered 2 but charged 4) after I processed the payment. When I told them, they asked me to visit them tomorrow to get my money bank (which was not possible for me so I let it go). Also I asked the waiter to bring a few good appetisers and he picked the most expensive ones from the menu including a shrimp avocado (he brought it for everyone in the party) which we didn’t like is because we don’t like raw shrimp (he didn’t ask before being it or confirmed with me if we like shrimp or not). Also keep in mind that we ended up paying the appetisers more than food + drinks!! This is a fair indication to me of a lack ethic when you trust them with your choice. They never confirmed with me any appetiser before bring them to the table. I will try to attach the receipt here so you can see the whole thing.

Booked a table at the restaurant and they wouldn’t let us in because we are two guys with no women with us. Not only that, they were very rude and disrespectful.

The view is great, but I make sure you get it elsewhere too. We were molested by men who seemed to have money and therefore were not thrown out of the club. In the music selection, the club seems to disagree and that u can hear. The cleaning staff was the friendliest! Never again!

We celebrated our birthday in this restaurant! I booked a table two weeks in advance and ordered that I would celebrate my birthday and asked for a table on the first water line. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we waited a very long time until we were seated at the table. As a result, they gave me a table in the middle of the hall. No cake with candles was received from the restaurant. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Had a great evening here with work friends, we arrived after it converts from food joint to nightclub. We prebooked a large table and found the service was good. The drinks were refilled regularly and the music was good. Its more of a cool bar you can stand up and dance at rather than a dance floor club per se. The highlight is the view at the rear to Number 1 bridge and the golden shining mosque below. Like many Turkish places, plenty of people smoking indoors which for a non-smoker isnt pleasant, the only negative i experienced. But we stayed till they closed lol

I am giving this place only 1 star because I am still shocked from the experience we had. We were visiting in Istanbul and someone recommended this place. We went to dinner all dress up with our driver and tour guide. We were told at the door that the driver is not allowed to go in. To be exact and I am quoting “this place is not for these kind of people”. The manager told us that the place is not for service people and they can not let him in. We insisted that he is our guest and we invited him as a friend. They told us that if we want to stay we can but not with him. I have never seen this type of discrimination and socioeconomic selectiveness. We left and it was the best decision we made. To be honest the place was nothing special. Just a cheap version of a South Beach club. Nowhere in the level of clubs in the states. Not worth a visit for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went with some Turkish friends. Service was excellent.We had dinner. The view to the bosphorous is amazing.The live singer was good with variety of English songs. Later at night the place turns into a disco with good song choices.You can have dinner and leave or stay and party till early morning time

Dear ManagerLast Friday we did a reservation for 5 people at the terrace. When we arrived at your restaurant, the reception lied to us and told us that we only did a reservation for 4 people and when could not go to the terrace. We were 5 buisnessman and this act was nothing but just sexit. The waiters stressed us when they did the serving. The evening wasnt relaxing, it was annoying. At the end we required the invoice, the price was 3800 TL and the waiter forced us to give him 300 TL extra.This restaurant is absolutly not recommended.06.11.2020

Worst club in the world .. the cheap manager standing outdoor will choose you if he likes you he will let you enter even if you come in cubles and with dress code.. the service guys are very rude .. they make this place just for their friends no for customers .. i did not see like this place anywhere in the world .. if you want to be angry and blame your self, go to this place and have the worst night you will live in your life.

This place is ok, having casual drinks for an hour or so is good but anything longer than that could be a headache. The same kind of house music being played all night which gets a bit boring but I guess they appeal for a certain type of market !

This place used to be good but now very bad service. New manager is very rude. And the waiters cheated on the our bills. They said to pay 450 lira for 3 cocktails. They said we drink more. After when they looked at the cameras, they didnt even apologize to us. So watch your bill carefully, because liars and cheaters work in this place

Amazing atmosphere, good drinks, nice people and very good music.Me and my friend came to visit Istanbul for a couple of days. While we were looking for a nice place to go out I read the bad reviews for ruby, how people were not treated nicely and all the stuff. Therefore we decided to go somewhere else. But all the people working at our hotel couldnt believe we decided against it and told us that the reviews werent reliable and wrong. After listening 15 minutes to them saying YOU HAVE TO GO TO RUBY , we were convinced and decided to go and WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT WE DID! This place is awesome!!! The chic design, open air terrace to the Marmaris, amazing atmosphere by the water. We LOVED it and could not see any bad treatment.

Went for drinks during the week on a Tuesday. Even though there were many (as many as six) large bouncers outside the door, they were okay with us (two guys) to enter without reservation and that was probably because the place does not get full on weekdays. Inside, you have beautiful views on the Bosporus from the glass walls. The service is fast and friendly. The music mix is not bad, mostly commercial pop music. There was a big crowd that filled one part of the place, although other parts were completely empty.

The restaurant is nice, with not a very special menu. The problem is that foreigners are not regularly given a cash voucher and lie in the bill! The bill was on a flyer, just an amount, no breakdown, how much! Ask for a receipt!!!

I booked for a dinner at 10:30, we turn up and everything was perfect, we were given the best sit in the resturant, just by the Bosporus, view and location is really amazing. So we ordered food and drinks, very generous with the drinks but the food was not as I expected, Although I liked it, the taste was good but I was expending better. after dinner is done, they ask you to move to take the tables away (around 11:40) because night life is starting. ok fine... but really why are you taking orders if you going to let someone eat for 10 minute. then it got so crowed and I didnt like the atmosphere

I do not recommend to anyone to visit this club / restaurant. We had reserved for two persons to eat there and noted that we could be late due to the flight which had a delay. On the phone it was said that would not be a problem, we can come late too. when we arrived then we were not allowed to go in, with the reason that we have no ladies with us. After we showed the phone calls and e-mails, they checked again and said the kitchen is closed because they did not find a better excuse. After all the trouble we have gone to eat in another restaurant near the club and we heard the music from there too and it was terrible. At the end, i was happy that they refused us. AGAIN, DONT GO TO THIS CLUB. there are much more better Restaurants and Clubs in Istanbul.

Good food, great coctails and amazing service. Weekends are packed but still fun during the weekdays!Update: Due to covid-19, they no longer play music after 00:00. You can always enjoy fine dine international menu of the restaurant.

This place is ok for music and dancing late at night ( after hours ) on week nights.. since it’s always packed at night .. but it’s not great.. many better options in Istanbul

Great food. Nice locatin and vibe. AHMET our waiter was one of the best service we had in Istanbul. He spoke english and was very attentive, helpful and super friendly. My foreign guests were amazed!

Amazing location, very helpful staff, staff is great, i dont think during the whole night was passing more than 10-15 min without a one of the waiters to pass by our table, checking if everything is ok, collecting the empty glasses, bringing new one, replacing the ice on the bucket, etc.So overall level , pleasant experience. Amazing view next to Bosphorus bridge, good music, good crowd. Prices little bit higher for Istanbul general level, minimum consumption per table also. But we enjoyed a lot, and i recommend to anybody who is visiting Istanbul to try as an night out experience at least one time, if you are a party at least of 5-6 person. Have to mention we where there on friday day, which is usualy a much more crowded night than rest of the week . Saturday i suppose is the same.

When its summer, it is not easy to find a good bar in Istanbul. But we liked Ruby, nice place. But their policy not letting bride into the bar is a shame. Why???

Last night we were disappointed because of the behavior of the workers of this club. We reserved the table from very good hotel, we came and our name was in the list. So, it means they had to take us to our table. We stayed at the door about 30 minuets, but nobody helped us. They’ve told us that they cannot find their manager and we should wait until he will come, for going to our table. We’ve asked them to call him, because it was disgusting to stay at the enterance, so long! And you know what they’ve answered? - We don’t know his number.And then they’ve requested to us to go to the club and find him, or another guy. How ?! We were shocked!Somebody plz explain, if we are going to have fun and spend money, not a little money - 3000 TL for table, and nobody cares of their guests and showing disrespect, how this place can be a good one ?!So we left and went to Sortie. Where they gave us a table and very good service.

I have never experienced such a club where you feel like unwelcome people from the starting of your untrance : when you arrive they didnt want to take our jacket, however they took it from every Turkish people we had to ask three times to be served. we try to buy bottle but no body take care of our demand. We wanted to go upstairs but upstairs if you are not a rich turkish they ask you to leave.. It seems they are really racist if you are not from the country. Awful experience... Not for European even if you are ready to spend a lot of money.

Really disappointing staffs,

Very good staff, nice food, nice ambience and great view.You might have language difficulties if you do not speak Turkish, hence you might feel it rude from them, but take it easy and try using some translation tool :)They don’t have valet parking (tho they say they have) the valet parking is paid @ 40 Turkish Lira almost %15 of your bill. Good meal with dessert and a couple of alcoholic drinks for two people would cost about 300 TL
