Museum is interpretation of Golden Temple , It has four galleries perfect place to know about sikhism and History of Golden Temple
A place to know about the Golden temple. Good environment with no entry fees
A very good experience for free
Beautiful audio visual studio with special effects to interpret the sikh history by light and sound system. There are 4 rooms with different technology to express the history. Very high tech and beautiful place and must visit place for everyone. The entry is free and and timings are 10am to 4 pm
Do spare your 50 minutes for multi media show. Which has 4 different galleries of narratives of around 10 minutes each. Good use of technology. Language is Punjabi but you can use English audio guide free of cost. You need to give your Id proof for audio guide.
This is one of the amazing places I visited in my lifetime. It is not exactly like a conventional museum as we generally visit, but its more like a collection of projector rooms where video clips of history and culture of Sikhism (esp. of Harmandir Sahib) is demonstrated. The visit is completely free for everyone and the language used in it is Punjabi. It needs 20-25 minutes to see the whole museum.
A VISUAL VISITThere are four galleries at the plaza, the first — ‘Jot mei Jot’—describes the ten Sikh gurus and their teachings through a 10-sided glassed inverted pyramid using fibre optics and a laser show. The second galley has ‘270-degree’ projection technology and the third used 3D technology to let the visitors explore the Golden Temple precincts on 72-inch screens, explained Harbir Singh, incharge of the audio-visual installation. The fourth galley will make use of ‘holographic projection’ to describe importance and teachings of Guru Granth Sahib.Designer of the project Amardeep Behl, while speaking to HT said, “The storytelling spaces had to be theatrical, they just couldn’t be a dry exhibition or a non-vocal museum that fails to narrate a story and connect with people. We are extremely happy with the first day response.”He also said that lakhs of pilgrims get inspired after visiting the Golden Temple but majority return without knowing much about the religion, which they have tried to fulfill.Notably, initially the footfall would be around 5,000 visitors and then gradually increase till 10,000 and finally around 30,000 visitors daily.
Very good place,i had seen its very nice and you can spend at least 2 hours in there & know the culture of Punjab and whole sikh History,Good experience, 3D lighting system also available, there is entry free for all
Wonderfull experience. If you are there then must visit it is free of cost and amazing🙏
A great visual treat with 4 types of air conditioned theatres showing the history of the Gurus and Golden Temple along with a great 3d model of the Golden Temple.

When they talk about destruction of Harmandir Sahib, they skip over 1984 as its trying to be forgotten to its indian Sikhs as Tiananmen Square is to china
