An wholesome weekend getaway! The remote location makes it more serene with very few people around. Its completely okay, if you skip sight seeing and explore the fort instead. An added plus point for poor connectivity, that in turns provides for a detox.Food and Bathroom facilities have scope of improvement. Although they are manageable. Also loved the cultural show, a must see!

Our 2nd visit, and a very good one, once again. The rooms, the hospitality, the food....all are exceptional. The highlight of the place are its beautiful terraces overlooking the long undulating range of the Aravali mountains. Two nights before us there had been a leopard sighting a few hundred mtrs away from our room. We will surely be back, soon

Serene place, with amazing views and courteous staff. The rooms are well maintained and they have a rustic vibe. There are numerous sports equipments also available at the reception, and theres a hike trail right next to the hotel.Perfect spot to relax and unwind. The only con is that its location is distant from the city, and the approach road is bumpy, and not well maintained.

Okay so lemme start . According to me the heritage property needs some improvement and guidelines for their staff . Everything is good staff was ok good in behaviour but the person who is on entrance is rude . First impression is the last impression . Anyone who wants to visit fort of course he has to cross main check and his rude behavior can turn anyones mind reverse . Person should be polite either he or we world is already suffering with pandemic if someone coming at your place and he behaves like this may be 20% of your guests can take back from there .Hope you will see this ..

I am writing to express my appreciation for the quality of service you offered me the days of my stay at the The Dadhikar Fort. Despite the many offers I received from other hotels, I decided for you because of the unbeatable deal you offered me.Staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are nicely done and very comfortable to stay in. The sleep quality was excellent. I do tried the food also it was extremely delicious .

To enquire about room availability and booking, I called Dadhikar fort resort and got to know from Mr. Surya Kant Jana (manager) that there are no rooms available.Within half an hour, I got a call back to tell me that there has been a cancellation and there is one room available now. I asked for the pictures of the room and they were sent to me. Those pictures were extremely deceptive and nothing like the actual room. Also, pictures of the bathroom were deliberately not shared (check the attached pictures to know why). The price was an exorbitant INR 7,500Firstly, to reach the fort, the route is pathetic. It is a very narrow mud road with bumps and potholes all along the way. They took the full payment at the time of check-in but gave us the receipt at the time of checkout, bill date as checkout date.We were taken to the room allotted to us, which was the room right at the entrance of the fort, beside a small temple. Now, for the most disturbing part, the room was a staff quarter, which they used as a room for our stay !They have names for all rooms in the property, upon asking the name of our room, we were told its Subhel. No such room is listed on their website and all the other rooms had the name tag on the doors, ours did not.The floor was all dingy and broken and a very old dirty carpet was laid. The bed was just 2 khaat joined together.Do have a look at the pictures of the bathroom that I have attached. You will know what you would be signing up for.No hot waterNo fresh towelsNo toiletriesNo phone in the room for contacting front desk or room service. We did not have the option to return as it was already late evening and the route is very dark and dangerous. At the time of checkout, when I stated all the issues to the manager, Mr. Surya Kant, he started arguing with me in an absolutely unacceptable tone, let alone apologize. After check out, they will not send any bellboy to carry your luggage. We had to carry our luggage from the room to the parking ourselves.Steer clear !

Didnt find it really worth, we stayed in Mahavan, their top most room and were a bit upset with overall ambience and amenities. Folk Night was the only good thing and that too just the performances of the artists.Facilities like Bathtub was of no use due to cleanliness issue and it being non functional as water was getting drained.Food quality and especially service not upto the mark as expected from such places. In the window of 2 hour of lunch/dinner, majority of the item went unavailable within an hour from start time.In Breakfast, puries as well bread pakodas were triple fried. They were full of oil and we could squeze multiple spoons of Oil out of them, worst ever we could have.In Dinner, with soup there should be Vinegar, Soya, Chilli sauces, these basic stuffa were missing. At the place of folk night, there was no proper arrangements and guests were sitting without any Fans and water in such a humid weather. While soft drinks or snacks could have been arranged there, as the timings were completely overlapping with dinner.Roads to reach the place are also not good and can easily damage the clutch plate of your vehicle.Overall its overpriced looking at all the above pointers.

Ill never recommend anybody to visit here.Reasons - 1. You will get a lot of scratches in your car because road is not good as well as too many thorn trees.2. If you are a visitor, they will change you 200 rupees per head and they will ask you come back in 1 hour. They will give you only coffee that too not good. I spent 30 minutes to get my coffee.3. Stuff is not at all good. They behaves like they are owners.4. You cant mess with them. They cant do anything as they think they are the owners.5. Too inside in village.6. Even place is that good and of course 200 rupees is not worth it, better go and see Bala Quila with car that cost you 50 rupee for car + 10 rupee per head.moral - Dont waste money + petrol too get scratches on your car and dont waste time as well.

Dadhikar Fort one of the most beautiful forts I have seen till date. Once you cross Alwar city & start moving towards the fort you would find the magnificent Alwar Fort (Bala Quila) over the hill which is humongous and spread over some miles, a narrow road in the foothills of the same hill where the Alwar Fort was built goes to the Dadhikar Fort. The most surprising part is that you can’t see the fort from the road until you reach the gate of the fort. It’s in a middle of a jungle which is pleasantly green, peaceful and quite. They have a entry fee of ₹200.00 pp reimbursed against tea/coffee.The fort has lot of Bougainville’s & looks pretty, it’s beautiful from inside, nice cool bright rooms, stupendous courtyards.Visit: recommended 👍Dated: 18.03.2020

Even some people have come to visit from jaipur and delhi but nobody was allowed to enter.Next time do think for the people who came to visit your place after long distances.

Paying 6k for a normal room is not what I expected from this place.FORT OUTLOOK : CLASSIC N BEAUTIFUL from a historical monument point of view.1. Room : I stayed in a super deluxe room which turned out to be very basic in looks but big in space. constant power cuts (generators r there). No TV. cleanliness is a issue as I found spider webs during check in.REALLY DISAPPOINTED.2. Food : Typical Rajasthani veg (good taste:- dinner only) . slightly overpriced u get high class veg thalis in good restaurants for 550/- ,here it was 750/-for dinner and 650 for lunch.breakfast is very very ordinary...3. Access : From Delhi to Dadhikar is quite smooth , however if u r traveling by a car thn the last 3.5 kms stretch is horrible.4. Surroundings : The fort is surrounded by beautiful aravali mountain range with a cloud cover (in rainy season) 5. Activities : None cause there is nothing u can do in this property except sit, eat n sleep.(I witnessed one musical night by a singer who was singing Hindi movie old songs, however the cultural night promised to me did not happen only).*staff is courteous and there is a tremendous scope in raising the standard of the fort.first n last visit...Time of visit : August 16-17 .2019Weather : RainyTotal cost including food : 21000/-15000 + 6000/- foodTravel hours from Delhi : 3.5 hours- wet roads

The place is well maintained and clean. One might find the way to Dhadhikar Fort a little rough since it goes though a village, the roads are quite narrow and congested. One can stop on the way to have a peek at the beautiful Vijay Mandir. The fort though is a good get-away spot for a weekend but it looks a little hyped up since there is nothing much at this point of the year during the day. Although, one can go at night to enjoy the silent breeze and beautiful lighting at the place. There was a lack of staff is what I felt (may b due to Covid condition and fewer visitors). Some beverages and snacks can be ordered at the time, Also they have lunch/dinner buffets.Overall the place is nice and the view is good. Its can also be a good spot for a photoshoot. :D

The fort is gorgeous and offers a breathtaking view. You can call it a hidden gem, located atop a hill with beautiful architecture and scenic greens. However, its a bit tricky to get there, the roads are narrow and not that smooth too. But the perks of driving through the small villages and kids waving at you are priceless. The fort has vegetarian meal, delicious and home cooked. The day we went there, it was raining, for a moment it felt like Rajasthan was a hill station. Must visit for some memorable experience. @pkkalaliya
