Definitely one of my favorite banana chips shop in Kochi. The staff and manager here are very friendly and helpful and tried their best to assist me in purchase even though they dont speak too much English. The shop is located at a corner unit and when walking around Broadway, its not likely that you will miss it, the road connects Broadway directly to MG Road. When buying banana chips, they have 2 varieties, there s the salty type (which is good with drinks), and there is the sweet type. Both are equivalently delicious. Then, you can also purchase cassava / tapioca chips (called kappa locally), one type plain salted and the second type spiced with chilly powder. Incredible. They also sell a myriad of halwa, which is a traditional Kerala sweet, deliciously sweet and chewy and rich with ghee. This place is like sweet heaven. Many other varieties of snacks are sold here also. If you are a tourist, the other thing you should/must try is upperi / charkara varruty, which is a sugared fried plantain. Delicious. Everything sold here is fresh and you can sample before buying. Sold by weight. Totally recommended.
