This is a type of sacred place, protected area having different plants but majority of them are sal tree. Santali tribal community of the village do worship here at least once in a year. People worship at the time of flowering of crops, sal tree or at the time of crops marurity, especially rice, maize etc. People believe that by doing worship god keep people safe as well there will be timely monsoon and good crop yield.
