#getupgo is the hashtag they have used and it did justice with the stay and the view right outside The Hosteller does not make you to put efforts to go for sight seeing.But would like to recommend to improve your catering. Services regarding food can make it a must visit for stay.Since they have great ambience, well built hospitality and even the bonfire which comes with a perfect combo in this weather, only the food was something which made me disappointed.

I have never been to a more welcoming place before. I went there in the month of February which is kind of cold for mountains but at the same time, you can enjoy views and roam around easily unlike the month of December. The setting is really humble and it is a hostel in its true sense. Since the hostel is on a height, there are a lot of things to keep in mind. In order to reach the place, you will have to climb a bit so if you are carrying a lot of luggage and and all of it needs to be handled in hands and not backpack, it will be a little pickle. But once you reach the top, the view is worth it. It is absolutely stunning and when the weather decides to be not foggy, you can see snow capped Himalayan range. There are dorms and individual rooms. They got a cute little cafe and the kitchen is on from early morning till late evening. Food is really good. And if you decide to stay there for a long period, like I did for 10 days, you get used to its quality so much that you crave it later. Its a leopard friendly area so they advice you to be cautious in the evening and later. A lot of small cafes and other places are quite nearby if one wants to visit. If you are in Kasar Devi, do pay this place a visit!

If you find a budget stay in Hostels thn Hots Hostel is perfect for you with all amenities.. I totally recommend this place. Especially the host is very friendly.

If you want to wake up with the view of Himalayas then try to stay with them & trust me the view is breath taking, even the food seems like home... the best part you won’t feel alone because of footfall of people around even the hospitality is amazing.You can ask everything about the hidden gems from the place owner.Even you can play guitar & sing your favourite song at high pitch. Plus you are free to paint wall with your own ideas.

A well managed hostel in Kasar Devi. I stayed there for a night on my tour of Kumaon. The team running is amazing and very friendly. A really cool place to hang out.

Good view. Strictly basic decent place. Dont expect anything remotely fancy. The private rooms at 2000 bucks is overpriced. The view is the only thing worth it. Didnt try the food. More of a hippie stoner kinda chilled out place.

The view from the property is actually something to die for. The serene views, lit cafe and cosy rooms make HOTs a perfect place to stay. The hosts of the property are super kind and helpful. Just came from a backpacking tour from HOTS, it was an amazing experience. The food is amazing, accomodation is neat and all clean, the best part if the sunrise & sunset, Himalayan view. Vivek bhai is an amazing host, they always surprise us with something new & extra. All in all amazing trip.

The view is amazing. Very few people showed up when I was there. It’s the slow season so even more perfect with less people. Can find better deals. Hahaha 😂 Food is selective but the host is pretty good. Little fire at night and some good information to go around. The beds aren’t much at all so I give it four but five stars because the view is amazing and the host is pretty chilled. Other than that everything is pretty perfect.Can get offer at 400 but I am sure you can go even cheaper.Give me a thumbs up 👍

This place was absolute love❤️ My kinda perfect getway and Ive decided to be a regular from now on. If youre going there for the first time, then finding the place might be a bit difficult as it is on the top of the hill. But no problem, you can blindly follow the GPS. You might feel that it is taking nowhere but trust me, youll see the steps as Ive posted in one of my pictures with hostel on the top. That is where the GPS takes you. I was there with my family for summer vacation. We stayed there for 2days-2nights out of our 9 day Nainital-Almora-Delhi trip and my family looooved this the most out of all other places. For once I wanted show my parents how people travel staying in hostels and all and thankfully because of the private rooms they provide, I was able to take this step as their comfort also mattered to me. The cafe with wonderful book collection, the bohemian paintings.. huh! Missing it too much. Sonu bhaiyya was more than awesome, verrry friendly. His food was absolute yummm. Showed us all the pahadi wild plants and told us its medical importance and this list can go on forever.Most importantly, if you are a tourist, hire a car (round-trip from nainital and back) as you cannot find a vehicle in Almora.

I had come here for a night but decided to extend within minutes of reaching this place. Its the kind of peaceful that I was looking for since long. Its serene, clean, and picturesque. The blankets are warm and theres a heater in the common room for extra warmth. There are good number of books enough quiet corners both outdoors and indoors to explore your creativity. I would strongly recommend this place if youre in Kasar Devi.

Decent hostel with a very good view of nanda devi national park and surroundings. It has a goof comfortable cafe and nice cook. Nearby hikes offer much more scenic views of peaks, sunrise and sunset. Peaceful surroundings with almost 360 view of neighboring villages. Good concept by HOTS overall. Music is a plus in cafe.

Its a great place to stay at! The owner was very accommodative and the cook cooked us our favourite dishes as and when we wanted them. The food was great too! Dont expect a lavish hostel with too many amenities but it would be just perfect for a mountain getaway hostel. The view in itself is mesmerising. Ask Anukhet ( the owner), hell help you out with almost anything!

Perfect location for a relaxed vacation. Our host at HoTs, Vivek, cooks yumm food... He invested his energy and time to prepare the most delicious Kumaoni food. Loved every bit of it. This place is a gem. The most wonderful location in Kasar Devi. Amazing views and such a wonderful place. The host Anuket is a dictionary of travel. Such a wonderful and joy to talk to. He also showed me around. The hostel is really nice and clean. The food is great and I loved the chai. This place is hands down the best hostel Ive stayed in. I will be back for sure.
