The best place for girls. Safe and secure.Peaceful and calm.Once we get admission there by cracking entrance. We get the all facilities, we have only three things to do. Study, eat and sleep.The dining is best.The cleaniliness.The hygiene. And mostly the moral life!😊

Womens college..I donno why i love ground of womens college i m staying here from 2k12 n i always visits this place its so peaceful n college facilities are good ..teachers are cooperative.. Ummm yeah books collection in Library is so vast n amazing.N helll yeah office works are intolerable uh hv to go mny tyms there..wifi ss available here..trnsport canteen parking n many more services are available here.n uh hv to be regular here cuz 75%attendance is compulsory so it will create problems in examinations ..

Id been living there for 2 yrs ..... And it was so good for hostelers... Campus is amazing.... Dining is also good ... Its so affordable for regular students who qualified entrance test

Abdullah hall comprises of nine hostels for girls and is named after Sheikh Abdullah the pioneer of female education. He was the founder of Womens college in Aligarh Muslim University. Born on June 21, 1874 in a village in Poonch district of kashmir, he during his school days at Lahore, got an opportunity to hear the speech of sir Syed Ahmad Khan at the Mohammadan Educational conference. He was so impressed with the visionary ideas of Sir Syed that he shifted to Aligarh for higher studies. Under Sir Syeds patronage he too selflessly dedicated himself to the cause of education.Shaikh Abdullah was very closely associated with the Aligarh Movement. He served Aligarh Muslim University in various capacities. He was member of the University court from 1920 till death, Member of Executive Council from 1920 to 1928 and served as Honorary Treasurer. For his tireless efforts he was conferred the little of Khan Bahadur in 1935 and with the Padam Bhushan award in 1964.Shaikh Abdullahs foremost concern was womens education and in his pursuit he was whole heartedly supported by his illustrious wife Waheed Jahan Begum (popularly known as Ala Bi). To garner support for female education he started a monthly magazine Khatoon in 1904 which served as a platform for generating favorable public opinion. It was his tireless efforts and determination, that despite stiff resistance he started a girls school in 1906 which had only five students and one teacher. It was the farsightedness of Shaikh Abdullah that made him realize that a residential form of institution will be more effective in encouraging parents to send their daughters from far off places. It was his vision that led to the laying of the foundation stone of the first girls hostel on November 7, 1911 by Begum Sultan Jahan of Bhopal. From a single girl hostel Abdullah hall now has nine hostels under its umbrellaCurrently the hall has around 1300 residents form across the country. Every attempt is made to provide them a comfortable stay away from home. The hall has two canteens, a well equipped computer room and gymnasium, a common reading room and shops for necessary essentials. The entire campus is Wi-fi enabled with 24x7 electricity supply. To inculcate leadership skills girls are given responsibilities in the form of various hall committees , ranging from literary, extra curricular activities and sports. They are encouraged to organize and conduct the programmes on their own under the able guidance of their respective wardens.

Although I have been a day scholar here but I must say abdullah hall is one of the best places in this for girls to live in. The freedom, congenial environment, traditions and culture of aligarh is breathing in the walls and pillars of this place. One gets to learn from a variety of co-curricular activities along with the curriculum of the university that helps to imparts basic knowledge , leadership,high morale, brotherhood and team spirit in the students.

Its nearby amir nisha a well known market specially for girls.

This is a girls section of renowned AMU. Inside the huge campus; girls school, senior secondary school and college is situated. There are more than five girls hostels in the campus. The premises is very gud. It is covered with greenery and many kind of fruit & vegetable trees including curry leaves and mehdi trees and almost all kind of flowers u will find here. The one thing I love to see is peacock. Peaceful, relaxing and safe environment. Around 3000 students from school to under graduate are staying here. Every facility is inside the premises staring from food to daily requirements and also clothing, stationery, gift items, juice and chaat corners, bank and ATMs are available. All the social and competitive functions are ongoing part of the campus. People have fun here along with right kind of environment for studies. Plus the famous Amir Nisha market start from the main road of Abdullah Hall.
