The history of Aligarhs civil court is more than 150 years old. Its evidence is the laws passed in the British rule. Three years ago, the Department of Archeology included the District Court building in Heritage Building. In 1905 the British ruler was Sir James Digger, the lieutenant governor. There are files of lawsuits in civilian museums, which were passed by British judicial officers. These are mostly civil cases. Arrangements are in English only.
