Stay was pleasant. Its a great place to go with family or friends. Rooms are very spacious and clean. We went during monsoon and were able to explore a nice little hidden waterfall behind the resort. The property is beautiful amidst nature. Food was good but can be better specially the vegetarian options. The staff was quite polite and helpful always, but we felt it was slightly understaffed due to pandemic situation which was understandable. Highly recommended!

Their service is excellent. The host was very hospitable and so was the staff. The food was amazing. Everything was perfect and upto the mark. Worth every penny.

We had booked 4 villas from 10th to 12th September and it was the first family outing after the Pandemic. It was a Super weekend with rains, greenery fully surrounding the resort, excellent buffet and personalized service from the Owner Sandeep Gharat personally supervising to the needs and requirements of the guest. The in-house staff too very hospitableand very co-operative. If any one is looking for a relaxing weekend, then this is the Resort to visit. We look forward for more visits in the future.

We had a fantastic stay from 10/9 to 12/9, we had booked 4 cottages for 4 families. A very good property, the rooms, the surrounding area and the breakfast buffet was good. Some improvements needed by the chef on the ala carte menu. Sandeep, you must update the pics on Google. As the rooms and the property is much better than the pics already on Google

So we were 6 of us . Went to stay at The Fern hoping it would be a good weekend. But as soon as we were given a villa ....the AC was not working ....we kept calling the staff and the reception to let them.know and fix it . A very lethargic attitude . Came after a long time and then shifted us to another room , supposedly a better one . Here the AC was still.more pathetic ! We still.complained . And as usual we were gonna move out with this v v casual attitude......they asked us to shift to another 3 rd room . We reverted saying we will have lunch and come back and then move coz lunch hours were coming to a close .by the time we were back from lunch they had given that 3rd room to someone else . We just lost it ! So on a overnite we were only shifting rooms ,got disgusted and we were about to leave ..Till then the sales guy gave us another option .we still considered and accepted their offer. But now they put us in 2 rooms . Now these rooms also ...ironic ....the AC s in one room were not working and the intercom not working either . A v frustrating weekend with an added flavour of the owners attitude which was not very receptive at all to our issues . Also mediocre food . Very disappointing weekend with no discounts on the total bill .

Very nice place, super green. Love the whole vibe. I expected something different from Fern but its still beautiful nonetheless. The people are exceptionally nice, genuinely good. Food is decent, they took requests for us which was very kind. Overall, pretty good place.

I had my parents stay for their wedding anniversary for couple of days in this property! They were delighted with arrangements, food, service and overall hospitality. Especially, the manager ensure he gave personal attention and assistance. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Trust me i am a pure jain , awesome service in food, beautiful location, real resort feeling and also full greenery.. even the swimming pool was active when other resorts have completely stopped.. go for it.... its 1000 percent ... worth every single penny. ignore the reviews which show not worth... we need to really think twice what we pay n what we get thks

While the place is scenic, the rooms had a very bad damp smell, the AC was leaking, the intercom wouldnt work but the most important part, the food served at the restaurant is really very very very bad

Its a wonderful resort amidst nature and greenery. Very serene and peaceful. The cottage where we stayed was spacious with a dining area and bed room and lawn. The beach is within 2 km and is a beautiful serene beach ,not crowded. Overall mind blowing experience. The downside is the road which leads to the resort. Be ready for a bumpy ride. Everything else excellent

I went to The Fern Silvanus Resort, Alibag with my family for a four day staycation. The Resort is in the midst of nature, beautifully planned set up of spacious cottages and the plantation around it gives an amazing ambience and secludes the cottages from each other. We really liked the concept of Cottages rather the hotel rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beauty of Konkan which is enhanced by the resort. The hospitality was good. The Owner is friendly and modest, pays attention to the requirements of the guest himself. Those who really enjoy being close to nature will find this place ideal.

This resort is nothing short of a discovery for me!Its a huge property full of villas, surrounded by nature, & maintained extremely well. The highlight of my stay here is that though the property is run by Fern Hotels, the cheerful owner of the place, Sandeepbhai pays extremely personal attention to ensure that everything works as per the plan. He is also a very popular man around here - a man who would never say NO to a customer - his humbleness & hands-on hospitality is one of the several reasons why I will want to stay here everytime I come to Alibaug, not to mention the fantastic attitude of the entire staff here. Its as if they are always waiting for an opportunity to serve you - a rarity among the tourist circuit nowadays.Coming to food quality & taste, it is commendable - no need to go anywhere else to satiate yourself during your stay here.The only flip side is that it is not a beach-facing property but even that is more or less nullified by the eagerness of the owner to happily grant you a ride to the beach in his personal vehicle, whenever available.All in all, an experience worth repeating a few more times, to say the least.

Stayed with my family for 4 nights in January21. The place is lush green, and in the lap of nature. Its well placed between north and south destinations of Alibaug. The staff is very courteous, they went beyond their regular duty to serve us well. Most of the food outlets were shut, so we relied on the resort buffet, which was affordable and good. We stayed in the Fern Club Cottage which was very spacious, well lit and had a convertible sofa in the hall which could accommodate two more people if required.Overall an incredible experience and recommended for spending a nice vacation with your loved ones.

The food was ok, but the restaurant is a little poorly maintained. Flies everywhere. Service was top-notch

We organised our trip to alibaug for the first time with 70 people. We were a little bit afraid as it was our first trip to alibaug. Regarding the services. But we get amazing service from Sandeep Ji & the food was also very delicious. It was one of the best trips. We will plan again with Sandeep Ji with more people with us.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the beautiful scenery and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the bunglow and there is a direct path leading to the swimming pool. It felt like a private swimming pool, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Silvanus.

Me and my sister were planning a vacation and Alibaug was the closest we could decide on. While searching for places to stay at we came across this place on google. It had very positive reviews and we decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed at all, the place was very pleasant and relaxing perfect for a family vacation.

Rooms are nice. Clean and nit and specious. Staff is polite. The place is actually amazing and very peaceful with lot of greenary. So many varieties in breakfast. Revdanda beach is 2.5 km from this resort.This resort is located far away from main road; to reach there you need personal vehicle and the roads are not well maintained in addition to it there is no street lights. Food is costly.

A sweet resort with helpful staff.. pretty flowers, gardens and greenery all around.. has a decent size parking inside the resort so that was helpful as we drove from Bombay.. only the road leading up to the resort isnt the best which should be looked into

The property was peaceful, the rooms were good, everything in the room was perfectly functional. We had taken a breakfast and dinner package and the food was very tasty and hygienic. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Mr. Ahmed and Rohan were. great support. Cons- There should have been some indoor activities and the hotel is in interiors.

Worst place I ever stayed!Rooms had lizards and tiny insects. Room service was pathetic. Rooms were in bad condition with paints falling off from walls and old furniture. Food was just ok. No higher hygiene was maintained during Covid for outsiders such as temperature check, sanitizers in lobby, reception, etc, gloves while serving food doing buffet.Infants were definitely not taken care of, in respect of preparation of infant food. If I had an option for zero star I would have rated zero

We had a very pleasant stay at the Fern Silvanus resort. We have experienced a great comfort and decent peace of mind and it was exactly what we were hoping for.Rooms were very clean, staff was helpful, food is descent and specially buffet system is a very great choice. Pool is currently closed as per govt. norms but it was necessary these days so it was expected.Cleaning & sanitization is done carefully and bedsheets and pillows were supper clean.Over and all it was a great experience and all thanks to you we got a great deal on MMT.

My stay was very relaxing. The best place to spend your weekend with your loved ones. Services are really good. Totally loved this place.

Location is near Chaul, less crowded and off the Murud Road. The property is very good and scenic. Approach road is largely smooth, yet bumpy just few meters before the entrance gate. There is adequate parking space at the back side of the campus, yet internal roads are congested. The reception area has been housed in basement, near the entrance with bare parking space near the same. Rooms found to be less spacious and low on cleanliness. We found spider webs on ceiling fans and cleanliness of the curtain / sofa also needed improvement. Staffs were apparently less trained and they required to improve on their professionalism.As regards food is concerned, quality of the food served was good, however, options were limited with less on quantity and high on the price.

For me, helpful staff, good hygene and remote location were the scoring factors.Revdanda and Kashid beach were close by enabling us to make a quick visit.Weak Mobile signals and absence of wifi connectivity at room was an issue. However, I was okay with the same. Hence it wont affect my review. Overall, a Perfect stay with good food and perfect amenities at an isolated place.

A much needed vacation after lockdown. But was a huge disappointment at the beginning only. The road to the hotel is BAD. Located way out of the main road, the path is very narrow with blind turns, sand and huge rocks. Had an accident due to the road. Luckily, no one was injured except our car. All the amenities stated here were not there, only some of them were. The sheets were not bery clean. The bathroom was ill-constructed. The place is very beautiful, calm, peaceful and green. And gives you a soothing feel. But with nature comes flying frog into the room. On complaining, the repmy we got was - 10 minutes main we will come. What if it was a snake? Though the frog was apparently not harmful in nature and only got attracted to light, but our experience have taught us that frogs are often followed by snakes. The food was average. Seafood was good. There was though lot of gaps in what was ordered and what was received. Just a highlight on communication during booking and getting what was there. I enquired whether swimming pool can be used and the representative said yes. Obviously, neither the rules allow usage of pool now and nor it was allowed there. But it was told you can use the pool. Even from 1-2 more experiences, it was understood that there was miscommunication within the place as well. At some point, we regretted spending money as well as risking a holiday at this time. And what more apt point that we were looking forward to just return home. GOOD:-Service was slow but we totally understand that the situation is challenging. The staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Even the man who came to catch frog came within 2-3 minutes. A good place for family to hangout with improvements in road, service and hygiene. Seemed like a safe abd friendly place within natures lap, surrounded by mountains.Roads were bad. Had an accident. Thank God, everyone is fine. Hygiene. Due to the situation and also what was infront of eyes, there was no surity whether things were sanitized.

Silvanus ResortThis place is very close to Mumbai, if you are looking for a weekend get away do give this place a try. It has the most amazing ambience, suitable for a stress free vacation

This is a namesake resort. It is in a secluded spot with no views at all. Rooms are big comparable to a 5 star hotel suite in terms of size but not the quality. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food is ok, dinner buffet options were repetitive and very limited options for breakfast and dinner buffet. I got good deal/price but even after that didnt feel worth spending. Nearest beach is Revdanda beach.There are very limited options in Alibag so, I would recommend only if you dont have a choice.
